I don't think you'll really want to play these as generic Tamers of their colors. If they see any play it'll be in a TS deck.
>>
>>96467925
I will probably try 1-2 of the green chick in a zephagamon deck. Otherwise they aren't worth the slot. I'm curious how the [TS] stuff will differ from cybersluts

>I'm curious how the [TS] stuff will differ from cybersluts
Well for one it's built around having 4 or less memory.
>>
>>96468693
Odd gimmick since 2-3 memory is what you get most of the time.
I think we have enough trait soup decks, especially half-baked ones, but I'll take whatever gives me an O12 zoo deck.

I'm planning on a carrier/fighter heavy STA game. I'm still new to the game, has anyone used fighters in STA combat? I suspect taking the extensive shuttlebays talent a bunch of times for a carrier could make a really overpowered combatant.

I'm in a similar boat to you, starting up a campaign. Page 184 of the Fed-Klingon war book seems to have something on ship swarms which I'll probably pick-up and see how goes.

There's likely youtube, continuingmissions, and forum support too but I haven't AI'd it to find a best practice.

ITT Contrarian faggots that just deny without anything to back themselves up. Everything cool about Egypt only remains cool so long as you know next to nothing about it. The allure of the exotic is what hooks people, not the actual substance of their government, religion, social culture, tech advancements, methods of warfare, economy, or anything else that they've actually done and embraced. It's all about the pyramids and the hieroglyphics, just being older than everyone else and still having the biggest pile of rocks.

My worst opponent was a Yargle player who should had understood we could hit each other with lifelink Yargles (could even enchant theirs if we got that understandment) yet first thing that drooling birdbrain did was launch removal into my Yargle once I dropped mine so I threw removal into their Yargle too when they dropped theirs on their turn. Could even let em have the win once their library was empty in case they needed that chievo too but they chose to be pricks first

The guard is lucky as Andris is just arriving at the library with Röst as he turns the corner and he quickly explains the situation. To his surprise the goat creature behind Andris has become afraid, putting him slightly on edge, yet he stands awaiting the elf's response nonetheless.

The things he's praised for are either the work of gratuitous editing, having an entire production team on hand to oversee and manage the show, including props, music, presentation, editing, etc, or it's clips of his "epic" moments where he leans forward and delivers a redditor monologue to a table full of slack-mouthed paid actors whose job it is to mug for the camera.

None of that is game mastering.

The advancement of metalbending really does still make sense. It just sucks that the principles that made it so hard for anyone to do in the first place, the things that Toph had over other earthbenders who tried and failed, gets ignored in favor of "some secretly had the aptitude, but they just never tried hard enough." It really spits in the face of the setting's history and development.
>>
>>96468456
It'd have made more sense if seismic-sense itself was a necessary step to learning metalbending, where being able to 'see' the impurities was important for knowing how to bend it.
Toph also doesn't seem like she should be that bad of a teacher. She can be rude, but she knew the principles of earthbending well enough to actually explain it to Aang.

If they really wanted to push that angle, then they could have just made it so Toph taught it to her kids, and one of her kids could be the skilled teacher at understanding and spreading it.
It feels like the only reason they made it so widespread is because one of the writers had the 'metalbending police' idea and that only works at all if metalbending has had decades to spread.

The new guys are fairly pointless. It's amazing how dirty they did the Sneaky Stabbas though. Overpriced, with shitty skills, no Dirty Player and no basic access to Sneaky Git. A skill LITERALLY NAMED AFTER THEM.

Incredible.

But you can still build them the old way, and it'll still work. Sure you lost Tackle on your linedwarfs, but Ironhard skin basically means they're never going to get fouled, are largely immune to chainsaws, don't need to worry about Mighty Blow or some random stadium or weather roll or a wizard with a lightning bolt.
It probably won't FEEL like it comes up all that much, but it's probably going to effect the opponents planning more than you'll realise.
>>
>>96462286
They're a fine team, the thrower isn't good at throwing (in the current rules) so he's more like a runner. You definitely need an ogre and maybe a halfling if you want to try a thrown halfling one turn touchdown.

The imp nobs are like a control team, you want to get guard on your bodyguards and try to shut down your opponent's gameplan. Use blitzers to hit things, fend can be nice at gumming up your opponent's plans

The ogre is huge for giving you a roadblock/pivot points, just don't rely on him because bonehead (while the best negatrait) is still a negatrait and will fuck you
>>
>>96463417
you dont need fans for models and you dont really need star players like they may come up in a league because theyre kind of like force multipliers if your team is weaker than your opponents you get to use them for free to even the playing field or if youre going to a tournament you may use a star player on your team to improve their power but not really with nobs
>>
>>96466749
You can have all this and more in the LRB6
>>
>>96462286
I mean at that price the partial team is actually worth getting if you don't have a 3d printer.
But for blood bowl the standard product is a full 16 player team with all positionals covered and every player is uniquely sculpted, GW has the worst offerings on the market for blood bowl miniatures.

What made gnomes so special that they needed to be a core race for so long? they were only introduced shortly after the original races buts still stick around to this day. they are never really popular player races, and don't really fulfill the same fantasy tropes as the other races did
So why stick around as a core and not just be a later supplement?

He's been gnomed.

I don't play 40k and I don't have any of the books, but I have ONCE AGAIN heard some people talking about how powerful the space marines are, compared to normal people, and I had a sudden thought I need rules knowledge to disambiguate.

If a unit with 1 surviving standard guardsman charges a unit with 1 surviving standard marine what are the dice rolls that determine the results of that one charge? Assuming the luckiest rolls possible, is it possible for that guardsman to kill that marine?

If it isn't possible to do the 1-turn kill, what are the rolls the marine will make in retaliation, and what are the odds that the guardsman survives those to get another try against the marine?

(I'm not sure if "standard marine" and "standard guardsman" make sense - if you're playing a specific codex, will there be rules that make *every* marine non-standard, or is there a type of marine that every chapter gets? And same for the guardsman. If there's no "standard," then I guess I'm thinking of a Cadian charging an Ultramarine, just for being the two poster-boy codexes)

>But they can't tear a termie suit to pieces with bare hands.
Termie suits are held together and articulated by self-powered servo-cog assemblies and pneumatic harnesses, and as long as someone can physically overpower those servos, they can literally rip the pieces of terminator armor off (same goes for regular power armor). Termie suits are designed to casually disregard impacts and lasbolts, but they're not really designed to prevent someone as ridiculously strong as an Ogryn from prying them apart. Otherwise servitors wouldn't be able to put the armor on a marine, nor take it off. The same hermetic seals that require specialized armory servitors to lock together can be overpowered by Ogryns.
>>
>>96466680
Cavemen armed with rocks and sharp sticks killed Grey Knights in terminator armor.
>>

>Termie suits are held together and articulated by self-powered servo-cog assemblies and pneumatic harnesses, and as long as someone can physically overpower those servos, they can literally rip the pieces
Theoretically. Practically it's beyond individual level of strengh and purview of power-fists and walker-grade strengh.
>termie suits are designed to casually disregard impacts and lasbolts, but they're not really designed to prevent someone as ridiculously strong as an Ogryn from prying them apart
Yes they are.
>Otherwise servitors wouldn't be able to put the armor on a marine, nor take it off.
It doesn't follow.
Servitors don't overcome the servos any, they just assemble and disassemble them.

Pro-tip: think about the guys who can pull a whole truck on their own. Strong, sure.
But these came guys won't be able to tear off a wheel off these same trucks with their hands.
Le hecking Ogryns are not this strong and I'm tired of people pretending they are.
They can only focus their strengh at point, able to break bones or pierce through even vehicle grade armor on a good hit, but not literally tear it apart.
>>
>>96468895
>Servitors don't overcome the servos any, they just assemble and disassemble them.
If servitors are capable of assembling and disassembling terminator armor, then an ogryn can disassemble it by force just fine. Lest you forget, ogryns are as physically strong as Custodes. That's not an exaggeration, both are S5.
>>
>>96468906
>If servitors are capable of assembling and disassembling terminator armor, then an ogryn can disassemble it by force just fine.
No, it doesn't follow any better than first time. It's like you no idea how mechanical parts are assembled.
And they will hold together with combined effort of servos, pistons, material strengh and marine's bulk.
>Lest you forget, ogryns are as physically strong as Custodes. That's not an exaggeration, both are S5.
Sure, and both can't tear ceramite with their fingers. It's settled then.
