No, no, no and no
resin is also import into slicer and click print, the failures do to improper supports are just as prevalent, with resin it's as simple as using a good slicer like lychee to auto support, with fdm you often have to redesign the file to prevent failures.
I use both, both have strengths and weaknesses, the problems with resin usually occur with catastrophic failures, being too cheap and using an FEP sheet too long, having it break and then dealing with a mess as you try to drain it back into the bottle with a hole in it.
vat cleaning? a joke, if you have a resin failure you remove the vat, you gently press underneath with your finger to lift an edge and then remove the bit of solid resin.
gloves are unnecessary, mask is being a paranoid bitch, even the MSDS states that the only long term risks of resin are to aquatic life if you dispose of liquid resin improperly, but why would you dump out liquid resin? that's your desired material, the only resin you should be disposing of is failures that can't be used and cast off supports, but even failures often get repurposed into things like objective markers, terrain scraps and sources of spare weapon bits, etc...
with FDM a failure an result in burning your fucking house down, you can walk away from a resin print, you can't walk away from an FDM, at least not without taking a risk.
that's not to say you should print in FDM, it's an incredible tool and I use it for far more than just hobbying, FDM can and does produce useful objects for everyday life and even here on the farm I save thousands of dollars making incidental parts for the tractor and other heavy equipment that the dealer would charge me absurd amounts for.

Have we done anything with John Browning yet? I've been discussing gun designs with a friend, and the subject of Browning came up with him getting started in this exact period. Of course, most of his more famous designs, the 1911, Hi-Power, .50 M2, etc. are from later, but he was still designing and making several firearms before the turn of the century. And we've nudged the development period of certain designs before, with the Maxim I believe.

I'm just divided on whether to keep him pretty normal with a blank cheque from the government post-Paraguay, or work in something Hyperborean. He'd basically be a saint up there with everything he's made/going to make. Alternately, I thought about somebody finding a 1911 or something on the battlefields of Paraguay and it makes its way into his hands (2000 Psychic Wars!)

It's going to be really funny trying to fit 40k into the typical streaming show model. Like we're going to end up with something like Space Marine sex, comments about how weird it is Space Marines don't have sex, or Custodes sex. Possibly even all three.
And ironically all of it could have been avoided by focusing the show on the IG rather than SM. A Caiaphas Cain show would be perfect, it's barely 40k in tone and Cain doesn't understand the lore of 90% of his enemies other than that they are bad so newcomers could have everything explained to them.

It's all about the key squares. The key squares of a pawn where it's the only (relevant) pawn on the board are if it's on the enemy side of the board all six squares directly in front of the pawn, and if it's on its own half of the board it has only 3 such key squares - you skip the row in between.

What the hell is a key square? A key square means if the attacking king can occupy it, the pawn queens, if not it's a draw.

So here the pawn is on d7, the key squares will be c5, d5 and e5 - skip a rank due to it being on your own side of the board remember? So these concepts are kind of clunky at first and can take time to get to know but they're well worth it if you want to be good at such endings.

If white moves first: Kd2 Kc7 Kd3 Kd6 Kd4 - and the black king can never reach one of the key squares because the white key can gaurd them. Obviously if for example Ke6 instead white will just go Ke4, still stopping him from getting to the key square. The key squares are only different for a rook pawn, where the defending king only has to get to the last rank on the third file across c1/c8/f1/f8 for it to be a draw.

It's more interesting if the king has to go to the side. For example if the position is a white pawn on b4 and the white king is on c1, and the black king is on f8 the key squares become a5, b5 and c5 and the attacker must get to one. But if he goes Kc2 Ke7 Kc3 Kd6 Kc4 Kc6 he again can't get to a key square. But if he goes for the a5 square instead: Kc2 Ke7 Kb3 Kd6 Ka4 Kc5 Ka5 and he's made it and he queens.

You can do things different but when you've seconds on the clock you want simple rules. It's very painful to lose a clearly drawn k vs p ending.

Well, Karn was corrupted between the time when he used his spark to close a rift in time (end of Time spiral-future sight) and the start of Scars of Mirrodin (about 40 years (?)). They said he returned to Mirrodin and went a period of resting (where he eventually started to be corrupted). Keep in mind that the oil that corrupted Mirrodin originated from his body.

On behalf of Melira being immune they actually did it quite well on having her being a pure human without any metal parts in her body (AKA: the effects of the oil did not affected her).

Karn recovery is a bit bullshit because he got Venser's Heart (and Spark) but Venser was also infected by mid-late Phyrexis (just not near the compleation or death phase). If I m not mistaken the recovery from the corruption was because of the walker-spark immunity to compleation so once he got a spark back he was able to 100% stop being corrupted.
