Yeah the original is garbage with an awful tone, non stop humor that ruins characters like Batman and Cyborg and Superman are a mess in that film.But holy shit, why so much Knightmare trash, why even Cyborg is in his own weird Knightmare? And that ending, fuck, that ending makes me rage.They introduce fucking Darkseid, say "oh yes i'm tots about to invade the earth right now", and nothing happens.I kept waiting "Wait but there's only 10 minutes left of movie...." and it's all fucking credits. This movie sucked, I am beyond appalled I put my family through it in New Year's. First 20 mins are just RD2D and the faggot droid talking with unintelligible aliens. The middle is le funny alien midgets making noises in the jungle. AND THE FINAL BATTLE AGAINST VADER CUTS TO OTHER FIGHTS EVERY 1-2 MINUTES. You THINK you finally reached the good part of the movie and can't stay on the scene for even 5 minutes straight, it constantly shows you Lando and random soldiers in spaceships, or Han & Leia and the midgets fighting stormtroopers in the jungle, for absurdly long amounts of time.It's almost like Lucas didn't trust his audience would be interested in the real story and drama (Luke, Vader, Palpatine) and had to flash pretty lights in your face the entire time.EVEN VADER'S DEATH HAPPENS ALONGSIDE EVERYTHING ELSE. The sad music doesn't even manage to kick in during Vader's funeral before everyone starts dancing and singing.This shit was probably the Phantom Menace of its time, it's stupidly incredibly childish more so than even 4 and 5 (who are boring in their own ways, but not this cartoonish). We also have that stupid song at Jabba's hut, it was the Jar Jar Binks of its time I just know it.
