As someone who thinks anime is childish, low frame rate, overpowered protagonist, several episode flashback, collectivist garbage, can anyone recommend an anime I might actually like? "Akira" was passable until the Cronenberg thing appeared, then it became completely incomprehensible. As it is, I've only really enjoyed megami33's "Sailor Moon Abridged" and LittleKuriboh's "Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged".
>The plan is to cast an unknown in his late 20s or early 30s that matches Ian Fleming’s original description of Bond as “a blunt instrument — the lethal but extremely dull, uninteresting man to whom things happened.”https://deadline.com/2025/09/james-bond-cast-unknown-british-actor-denis-villeneuve-dune-1236554375/Will audiences accept it after over 60 years of suave, charismatic Bond?
>>214847626Reminds me of American Psycho. In the book Patrick is more like the fanboys in that he's an autistic colorblind idiot who can't make a cohesive outfit work, often mixing patterns and fucking up basic manners. But it was the directors vision to have a chiselled Greek statue like Christian Bale so you can do infinite closeups of his sweaty face who cares too much about the front cover of Vogue.
We're not used to seeing James Bond in his 20s or late 20s; we're used to watching James Bond in his late 30s, early 40s, and ending in his late 50s after 5 or 6 movies.
>>214845822Ian's Bond looks like Jorah from Game of Thrones. Unfortunately, the actor is too old to play the role but he would have been the right age when they cast Craig. Also looks like younger Tolkien, if Tolkien had killer's eyes.
He's probably the worst possible director for a James Bond movie. Also Ian Fleming's novels sucked, the movies are the only reason people care about them.
>>214845919yeah Interesting trend. Sicario's his only movie I like. Don't remember enemy or Prisoners. Some directors just shouldn't be doing big projects, especially of IPs. His Bond will be terrible.
Im hooked. Began S1 back at release and never really kept up (weekly releases iirc), recently began rewatching and now in Season 3. This is.. kino. Ive missed dialogue-heavy series like this very much recently. Its insane to me how low rated it is on IMDB. Opinions?
Why would gay/cuck scifi writers want to adapt Foundation of all books into a tv series? They should've picked some Philip K. Dick or something. It's like they picked it because it's the scifi goat.
>>214847860I think it's a case of an executive realizing they can get that IP for cheap, then hand it to the fucktards they have on hand to make some cash out of it.

Favorite game out of the entire show? For me it was the Five of Spades.Good combination of strength, teamwork and IQ.

A week before his suspension the dude was sounding very much like he wasn't even going to fight to fight for renewal, to the point that staffers were getting worried they were soon going to be out of work and he wasn't interested in saving them. He literally might be off the air before Colbert despite the much later announcement.

>>214845456To be fair, people are retardedBoomers have seen live broadcast in 50 fps for decades, that's what old TVs were like, sure, each frame was actually half of the data and the next contained another half, but in an advanced frame, but the way old TVs work, it kind of filled the gaps perfectly lol so they could broadcast real 50 frames per secondYeah movies were still 24 fps when shown on TV even the shows, and adapted to 50 fps Europe and 60 fps America by doubling/tripling framesMaybe some TV shows were in real 50-60 fps, and that's why they call it the soap opera effect? In retrospect its so fucking funny that THIS was the first thing we saw of the Sequel Trilogy. This image overflows with negative psychic energy.
Seeing John Boyega for the first time in The Force Awakens was the shock of my life.I was so hyped for the sequel trilogy that I cagily avoided all marketing materials, all trailers, and all commercials. If I walked by a toy aisle at the store and caught a small glimpse of a vehicle or stormtrooper, I'd look away immediately. I wanted to go into the new era of Star Wars with an entirely open mind, as pure as an Amish virgin. On opening night I knew there was a brown-haired female protagonist (that much was hard to avoid, even though I shielded my eyes), but little else. I didn't even know which classic characters were returning. When Boyega first took off that helmet and revealed himself to the theater, I let out an audible gasp. My entire row of filmgoers looked at me like I was nuts, but I couldn't help myself. There before me was the most Simian creature I'd ever seen in a galaxy far, far away. An intergalactic gorilla with huge flaring nigger nostrils and big Nigerian chieftain lips.Oftentimes film studios will soften the blow by casting Billy Dee Williams or Will Smith... but not this time. This time you were forced to feast your eyes on a pure-blooded coal black silverback nigger, blown up forty feet high on an IMAX screen.I looked around, uncomprehendingly, as the rest of the crowd seemed to accept this monstrosity as a regular matter of course. Then it occurred to me that I was the only person who hadn't already seen months' worth of marketing materials.Little by little, they had been led to accept this by drips and drabs of commercials, trailers, and TV interviews. Their minds had been so softened that they were willing to stare unflinchingly, even giggle and smile at the niggershines, as MegaNigger (missing only a bone in his nose) besmirched the galaxy.Lots of people debate about the exact moment when Star Wars died. I contend it was when that minstrel-looking sweaty jigaboo removed his helmet and revealed his Lovecraftian face.
>>214848613Not me being a chud is empowering. You should relate as a nigger with nog empowerment
A Stormtrooper redemption story would have been amazing. Imagine if Rey was the goofy sidekick and the trilogy was TR-8R...could have been great.I live in the wrong multiverse.
