I decided to play the prince of persia games for the first time. Finished sot a couple days ago, now playing ww, this game is kinda hard. I didn't like how much time you spent in combat in the first one, it seems even worse in ww since enemies don't have the instakill sequences most enemies in the first had... Less sand slots also means more deaths from traps and falling.

The release version on PC when paired with certain hardware had a bug where some parkour elements installed improperly and went into the game in a way where you couldn't grab onto things and thus completley breaking the game. A complete reinstall solved these bugs but for my first successful playthrough I had to reinstall the game twice and start it over every time. By the third install it was finally bug free. Last Raven just feels wrong to me because it seems to be intended as a kind of puzzle game where you 'figure out' what parts are permitted to pass which missions. Nobody is playing a robot customization game for that, the appeal of the genre is for create-a-playstyle build expression.At least its arena is fun and completable without story progress.I played the PSP version so maybe that colored my experiences with it.

I feel like the game starts of with one theme and abandons it for another in the second half. First is the generational progress and sacrifice for a better future and then its a family's grief. That's generally fine but the second theme ends up entirely undermining the first. "For those that come after" means nothing given all the expeditions only hastened Lumiere's fall.
