>>729133872If you're new you can get lots of pyros just from doing the main story
>>729133872New accounts get lots of pyros, I would keep rolling until 200
AHH! leave me alone!
>>729134045>>729133948Alright, which character should I use the spark dupe on then? I'm thinking dress Hina?
>>729134145Dress Hina's among the best red DPS in the game (if not THE best), so that's a good call.
the fact the did the temple thing of the exact same one 24 times or whatever with the same thing.. not like making them unique, having stories on the walls whilst you venture deeper into them or something. I couldn't believe how fucking nothing this tranny shit was
>>729121706>Fuck it, the goyim loved skyrim and that was just 100 procgenned draugr ruins with the dumbest characters and plotlines to exist>They won't even be able to tell the difference
>>729132213Devil may cry 2 sold better than reputation damage is a very real thing, I certainly won't be buying ES6 (unless the sailing parts are really good)
>>729134167Imagine if every temple was themed around the power you got.
all Todd had to do was basically elder Scrolls in a sci fi space setting.I have never seen such a lazy "game".
Games for this feel?
SHE'S FELTEDSHE'S WALLEDSHE'S JEETED
>>729133254It's surprising how popular their show got. Never thought Warski would make a comeback and figured PPP was too edgy for normie appeal
>>729133475Idubbz launched the careers of both Kimi casino and Sam Hyde while trying to destroy them at the expense of his own
>>729133746They were doing well before that but that definitely helped them grow their audience significantly. Helps Icuckz is fun to shit on. I prefer the Gunt content though
>>729133254what happened to the DarkSydePhil arc with Kino Casino? did they actually betray him? because last i heard they were trying to get into his good books for some reason. i always figured they'd backstab him eventually, though.
How do you guys think the undertale prequel fan games in development should handle saving for the souls? My idea is hallucinations, everytime a soul dies,he wakes up and start at the last point he slept at(that's his way of saving, taking rest at various places, everytime he dies,it's a bad ending). Another idea I have is a character from the future travelled backing in time to stop something horrible from happening after the undertale ending and is helping the soul out. To me,this is good idea because you can introduce the original cast without breaking canon. Heck, this could be the weird route or the true ending of a prequel game.
>>729080634>how should the fangames go about that?ignore them unless its convenient. There's only one Yellow Soul human I accept in my heart and its this rootin' and tootin' lad
>>729130579>we won't be adding any more content to the game ever>but we WILL give ourselves extra work redoing the things we already didI just don't get it.
>>729133750>CLOVER IS THAT A WEED!?!?!!!??
>>729134129t b h changing sprites is easier than coding new stuff with how messy the code is
>>729134129>>729134178>censor update comes out>it's just the big tiddy martlet mod overlaid on top of vanilla
It's currently free on EGS. Game play is very slim to say the least, because it's just a matter of exhausting the dialogue options, but it has interesting lore which gels well with the pseudo-vaporwave style. Also a grade A soundtrack. All in all, it's more of a walking simulator with a bit of collectathon elements than a mystery solver, but I loved spending time in that weird island. What other games you would like to see being talked about more?
>>729133409That was a hurdle for me too, since the valor aesthetic was the main draw, but the Mascot game has its own comfy world going on. It’s a small rural Japanese town, but still with a slight Y2K vibe. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it.
>>729134057Vapor aesthetic*
>>729126506I 100%ed Paradise KillerThe lore is cool and the central conceit of a murder mystery you choose when to resolve by investigating is cool in theory. But in practice there is an actual, definitive answer you can uncover. Getting to that with no reward is frustrating.Definitely worth it for free just to learn about some of the lore. If you want to play the whole thing, it doesn't take too long but there is a lot of backtracking around a vapor wave island. It seems to implicitly assume the player has ingested the or a mild hallucinogen. I played through the bulk of it on a long Amtrak trip in the barcart. Can't imagine playing it fully sober, beyond the last few hours.
>>729126506I played this a while ago but never seen it mentioned here. It's a cool sci fi games where you're looking through files on a wrecked ship trying to figure out what happened with the AI remaining. I like found footage stuff and it kinda has that vibe. Has a sequel but I barely remember it.
>>729134179Beyond the first* few hours
I don't know why, but it seems like nowadays, the modding community is pretty much dead. It used to be that mods would basically transform a game and would be a completely new experience than playing vanilla. Now it seems like now all that happens is a few basic UI overhauls or some other non-interesting nonsense.I think the biggest sign of this is when the FF7R director asked players not to make "lewd" mods when the game was released on PC. Back in the olden days, there would have been tons of lewd mods on release just to spite him. Now all we get are a few dresses and some Reddit-tier "muscle mommy" garbage. How do we revive the modding community?
>>729131138Does she actually say that or is that dialogue modded?
>>729129240nexusmods became the mainstream site for mods and faggots realized they could just put their own mods behind patron paywalls
The popular games now intentionally try to force online play without modding so they can sell you basic assets in game like an outfit or skin or weapon etc. They are anti modding. This really got big with gtav with its focus on selling in game currency. The expansive world was perfect for modding into an entirely different game with overhauls into a fps, racing sim, interactive roleplaying etc but gta required an online connection, auto updates, then a third party launcher, and intentionally breaks mods. It wants to sell you money to buy some basic crap not have you get 1,000 more for free. The industry followed suit and eventually half of games became that way. You used to buy a game. Now its gaming as a service. They try to micromanage that service to milk you for as much as possible for as long as you use that game. A much more exploitive industry.
>>729133284It became normalized (for retards), just like paid DLC and paying for digital games. Just wait until they catch up with the gambling, sorry I mean prediction markets. Just imagine playing Dragon Quest, but you can put real money into the prediction market on whether or not your character will miss the next attack.
>>729133702Yeah, came to say something similar to this. Games are designed to give drip-fed paid content, which developers and companies cannot achieve if they open their game up to a community that will deliver 1000x the content at the same rate for free.Game development is just a different business model than it used to be, and that model mostly favors living your game down. Also, any really talented people will just make their own game instead of trying to mod something.
They accidentally maded Cyberpunk 75% on Switch 2.
It wasn't on accidenthow good is the switch 2 port I could play the game on my ps5 pro but the switch 2 has portability
>>729131009I enjoy driving around with path tracing/framegen on PC but holy shit at that price why not get a portable version of it. or if you havent played it, it has the DLC too. best deal on the store i've seen.
>>729132452It ran fine for me. Didn't play very much of it though. DLSS makes the lower internal resolution not look like shit and visual quality is still pretty clear. I played on the 40fps mode and that made a lot of difference. Mouse controls felt really weird in it though. Dont know if they borked it or what but I played prime 4 almost exclusively with mouse controls and didnt have an issue so. Good port, game didnt totally captivate me but I might come back to it. For that price theres no reason not to buy it if youre interested.
okay I did some researchit seems like the 75% discount was meant for the witcher 3 and somehow ended on cyberpunk on the switch 2, but after it went live they decided to keep it to not disappoint peoplethat makes the switch 2 version the cheapest way to get cyberpunk + the dlc at $17.50on ps5 the cheapest it has been is $35.50and on pc the cheapest it was is $36also worth mentioning that the switch 2 edition has been getting post release updates so less optimized areas like dogtown run smoother now and this is the best way to play cyberpunk on a handheld, even compared to $1000 handhelds
I always see people calling fighting games dead, especially when they are referring to other skill based 1v1 games like arena shooters or RTS. But here is the thing, fighting games are more alive than they have ever been. You need to remember that fighting games are also on console, and most modern fighting games have crossplay enabled. Take the steam daily peak player count and triple it, that is basically the true daily peak of available players. I'd say there are probably anywhere from 100,000 to 200,000 unique players daily when you take into account all modes. Compared to arena shooters, fighting games are incredibly thriving. We have active local scenes, competitive scenes, and online scenes. The biggest name in arena shooters only gets a peak of 400 players daily. RTS games may be a bit more popular than fighting games when it comes to player count, but our competitive and local scenes are actually alive and thriving. When you compare fighting games to other popular games, you have to remember it is a 1v1 game. A better metric to compare it to other games is to take the number of possible matches that could be happening at a time. For example, in order to fill an ARC Raiders lobby you need 21 players. Lets take the peak and divide it by the amount of players you need to have a match.>445,973/21 = 21237Now lets do the same for Street Fighter 6>37,646/2 = 18823Note, these are only Steam numbers, the amount of playable matches at peak hours is actually much greater. Outside of the titans, the "liveliness" of SF6 is comparable to most popular multiplayer games.Sorry for the bad grammar, I'm ESL.
>go into SF6 casual match with unlimited rematches>have so far played 4 matches against 3 peopleWonder why fighting games are dead man, couldn't be the naggers or anything
>>729089335Fighting Games are dead to /v/ because they're gatekept.
>>729133369the "gatekept" in question is that the genre intentionally plays like shit

Why was RE7 significantly better than Village?
>>729123629Was actually scary at many points, especially with good headphones where noises are fking with you constantly. Village was just a mess and didn't know what it wanted to be as a game. The puzzles and map layouts were dogshit too.
>>729123629Loli?
Werewolves and vampires are not Resident EvilMagic magneto metal powers are not Resident Evil
That initial trek through the pitch black woods at the beginning of Village was one of the most effective scares in any RE game and they just throw that vibe out the window immediately for a less-good version of RE4.
>>729133218Yeah I agree. To me its the biggest waste potential in the sereies. I wish the rest of the game played like the castle. I love the dungeons and the wine cellar

And theirs is the most passive, least interactive, most thoroughly removed from the audience medium that has ever existed. That's the outlier, not vidya.

Deltarune in the game categories should be changed to Chapters 3+4 instead of just 3
