While this game only like in 2010 at a closing block buster for 3€, I loved the game and style of rta mixed with third person RPG, sometimes the missions and the mechanics were hard to understand at first but after you get the game you really fell like a war commander leading your men.
I bought mine in 2006 with a DuoX2 and 80gb hdd when I was ~15y and video rental stores where a thing. I remember the fee for a weekend was around 5€ and I chose the games based on the cover and the back cover and spent ages browsing through the shelves. Love the CoinOps emu and never had any major issues with this nearly 20 year old console.

I didn't like it because the guns felt weak and the enemies didn't react to them, the structure was repetitive and tiring (literal monster closets aren't scary AND the demons can literally teleport so why are they waiting behind walls), and the visuals in a lot of areas were pretty dull. It also feels like that surf Dracula meme where you only go to hell for like 3 seconds right at the end.

probably my fav FF aside tactics. You can cheese it early or brute it or grind etc.. but it's just a great game and the story is perfect, you really feel these people bond for a save the world adventure.It's got a few hard parts but it's just good. Actually while tactics is one of my favs too I wish they had the bonus master like 5 did.
