>>106493391Indeed. Anyone else noting longer responses from V3.1? I just realized V3.1-R is creating long responses again; I'm getting 3-4 paragraphs now, when I was getting 4-6 sentences. But I've not touched my setup. V3.1-C, for it's part, is starting to have issues with run-on sentences and broken vocab at the end of response. It seems like something was tweaked w/ the official API.

>>106493957I'm sorry but I don't understand. Are you saying programs can go outside of the sandboxed folders?Linux malware does exist but its pretty rare considering 95% of people downloading from torrents or elsewhere will be using windows 10.
>>106493984I mean, if we assume there is some sort of Linux-specific code in the exe that specifically targets wine / Linux and that can access the Linux file system and that can access any file or folder Heroic has access to, then if Heroic has access to bashrc or other files that are used to run commands outside the sandbox, the malware could easily add malicious code there.
>>106494018Pretty sure flatpak apps can't access outside of .var unless you give them access. Thats why Flatpak Firefox cant open local files without first copying them to a directory it has permission to access
>>106494018It has access to these folders. Dunno if that would be bad
>>106494039Devs can give apps access to anything they want by default. >>106494049What does it say above "other files"? If it doesn't enable filesystem=host or filesystem=home enabled, it shouldn't be able to do that specific thing I mentioned. However, there might be other attack vectors. For example, since in your image it seems to have access to .local/share/applications, it might be able to override one of your system desktop files with a desktop file with a malicious command.
once again, I am not including the links because none of that shit fucking matters. If you didn't hold a job before 2022, you are sinking and/or dead. There are talks of an AI bubble hiring hasn't gone across the board, and the outsourcing numbers are still increasing. Trump is beefing w/ Modi, so maybe H-1Bs could be on the chopping block soon who knowsI have never used 1337code to get a job in this industry. During my last job search of 2021-2022, I remember getting a timed 1337code style PHP interview.....I remember how anxious I was in getting these four questions right (which I did), only to never even speak to anyone at the company. I promised myself in the 2010s I would never learn React or do 1337code. I always knew 1337code was going to be a cancer, but pre-pandemic, it was limited to FAGMAN companies I could ignore...but with the supply of new grads post-2017, who "drank the kool-aid" and didn't get to experience post-great recession tech culture (buttcoins on /g/, Steve Jobs still being alive, being in your early 20s and actually being friends with your co-workers while building shit and getting rich), the cancer culture of 1337code would permeate the industry because college kids are cucksOld Thread >>106466467WFH Sex Havers #1 >>106385360

>>106492781I tried it. Business tried to force me to change it to scrum. I refused. I got laid off. >>106493523Silly guailo not using chrome with no extrensions and all tracking enabled.>>106493898>Wrists rests are only fine is they're use to rest your palm on like keyboard "wrist"rests. Can you elaborate? Doesn't feel like the angle I move my wrists on the keyboard wrist rest to get from the extremes (g->caps, h->enter) is that much less than what I use with the mouse (I use fairly high dpi). I got it because sometimes if I've spent an entire day on the computer I get slight wrist aches and elevating my wrist via a pad seems to make that ache better (as the wrist is at far more of an angle without it).But obviously I don't want to fuck myself. For gaming (at a lower dpi) I wouldn't use it anyways, because then it'd be more likely to get in the way.
>>106493898theyre bad for keyboards as well
>>106493935>>106493930>>106493898aren't you supposed to use vertical mice if your wrists/elbows are fucked up. or even light weight mice with all the holes in it
>>106494073no, theres nothing inherently wrong with holding you hands in a horizontal orientation
>>106493935Depends on keyboard height. In his case it's a massive improvement to the wrist angle. You should alternate between floating typing and resting though. Also it's a must have for gaming. You're not going to be floating while wasding for hours.>>106493930It sounds like your wrist angle is bad. Most likely a seating position/desk height issue. If your wrist is bent up or down at all you're going to hurt your wrist fast. I don't know what your situation is exactly so I can't say for sure. all you need to know is that pressure on anything but the fatty palm area is bad. The whole inside of your forearm starting from the boney lower end of your wrist is basically a huge nerve tunnel and should be left alone. The junction between the hand and forearm being the most problematic.Ergonomics are always a personal thing so if it works for you do continue. But if you actually have enough wrist pain for it to be bothering you then you must take serious action before it actually gets bad and you can't even clench you fists without having spasms or weakness. This shit goes bad exponentially. The more pain you have the more inflamed the area becomes which increases the rate of damage etc... You need to do specific exercises and strengthen your arms. You also need to be using the mouse as little as possible. You can start by trying to move to a keyboard focused workflow (it's faster and you should always try to do that anyways) and not using a mouse for non gaming related activities. Get a trackball or if you can't cope with that a vertical mouse. They're massively inferior though. I recommend the Protoarc EM03 it's real good and cheap.>>106494073The weight has nothing to do with the strain you get from using a regular mouse. When you lay your wrist to use a mouse you have to twist your forearm and it twists your bones together which squeezes the carpal tunnel. Usually not a big deal but over years of computer usage you'll fuck up your nerves. Vertical mice can help.
My niece have an iPhone 11 and she is having two separate issues. Her first issue is that when someone calls her, she can hear them but they can’t hear her. However, FaceTime works perfectly fine. Another issue she is facing is that her phone's volume is super low to the point she can barely hear anything if the phone isn't close to her ear. That goes for FaceTime, TikTok, Facebook, etc.… everything is very low
