No that is true unfortunately, the most recent GPUs still usable on Windows 7 are the RTX 30xx.
Unless you know a magic trick I don't know about. If so, please share, I am very interested!

people who dont understand FOSS ecosystem have trouble understandig what this sentence implies
despite that you like to voice your retarded opinions left and right

for example:
one: linux based operating systems are them most used operating systems installed on personal electronic devices
on an account of android being a linux based operating system
so any "criticism" of "linux" that starts or ends with "linux" "not being ready" (whatever the fuck that supposed to mean) is nothing but low iq niggerbabble proven wrong like 15years ago

two: the reason why random 80's style standards ignoring proprietary operating system is the most used system on personal computers specifically is because faggotkike by the name bill gates did literally everything that was in his power for microshit to become a monopoly and force itself on the consumers
we wont go into why consumers consume what they consume
if you dont understand that niggerkettle is niggerkettle then you are one of them

but a great examply of how this is true is how microsoft tried to take over smartphone marked, aimed to "dethrone" apple in its absolute low iq fashion and got murked by android instead
because alternative to iOS is and always will be android, not a barely working desktop OS running on a hardware that is way too weak for it

Why are libraries allowed to exist?!

Considering switching from iOS to Grapheneos, but came across Louis Rossman's video [1] about the threats GOS founder Daniel Micay made against him. Also found on Louis website claims that all GOS statements of Micay stepping down have been scrubbed [2].
Can GOS be trusted with Micay or is this secure/open enough that GOS is safe irregardless of leadership (Micay's twitter profile indicates he's still involved [3])? Am I focusing on irrelevant details in what is often considered a good secure/private phone-OS?

A paranoid autistic schizo like Micay being the head dev of a privacy and security oriented project is, in my opinion, a massive green flag. However, I do think they need someone else to run PR for them because whoever does it right now is extremely abrasive and if they want to work with an OEM in the future like they keep alluding to they can't keep acting this way.

>What does /hpg/ think about Hifiman and their offerings?
worst quality control in all of audio probably, even by chink standards they are horrible. They are bought by people who can't afford planars from real companies to save money short term, and end up paying more longterm. It's the unfortunate reality of chinkfi in general, happens with amps and dacs all the time as well, from all the chink companies. But to be honest, in every product field there is a hifiman, a company everyone knows makes god awful products, but is discounted enough for people to gamble. There was an anon who use to post here that had like 4 chinkfiman headphones kill themselves and he still bought another pair, it's definitely an interesting thing
Other chink companies engage in similiar low quality, bad warranty practices, pretty much look into any chink companies audio gear and you are just flooded with snapping headbands, dying drivers, low quality materials and lack of warranty. Fucking even fiio's flagship amp/dac was $800 and had one year of warranty and would kill themselves after a year. There are loads of 'overpriced' gear that people on a budget usually seethe about, but at some point the peace of mind makes some of it worth the extra cost
>>

Thanks lads, I figured that would be the case even though I've heard a lot of positives about the Sundara (though no one ever mentions the QC on them).

He's still selling them but he's making them at a glacial pace so you can't even buy the 2nd one yet since he's not done sending all the orders he has right now.
>last i heard the guy was racist or something
Yeah but then he realized that's bad for business so he said he's sorry or something like that.
>and they had really bad qc issues
The first Verum did, yeah. Apparently the second one is better since it isn't hand made anymore but I'm not completely sure.

Yes. Tailscale is the ultimate grift for homelab boomers.
They re-sell wireguard to people and require you to authenticate with big tech to do it.

>>107012736
Yes but at that point you can just use wireguard directly

Headscale works fine. You can even set it up with your own self-hosted SSO provider if you want, but I don't bother since I only use tailscale for myself with a few devices.

daily reminder: /g/nu chads won
>But sitting there, quietly powering masses of the internet, without saying boo to a goose, is FreeBSD. And the companies using it? They’re not talking about it. Why? Because they don’t have to. The simple fact that dawned on me is FreeBSD’s gift to us all, yet Achilles heel to itself, is its license.
>Unlike the GPL, which requires you to share derivative works, the BSD license doesn’t. You can take FreeBSD code, build on it, and never give anything back. This makes it a great foundation for products — but it also means there’s little reason for companies to return their contributions.

I often suspect the only people who have a problem with the 8350 installed it in a board that couldn't handle it VRMwise, because that 125w mf will throttle to 1.4GHz when the VRM gets hot and the games will stutter, but if you put an FX-6300 on the shit motherboards, it runs perfect, so AMD shouldn't have let people install whatever chip on whatever board, because it made people think the CPU is shit when they're literally putting the highest end parts on the lowest end board, which would never fly in Intel land.

I had a Compaq dc7600 with this that couldn't play Halo 1. After infinite fucking with it I found out the Intel graphics on the motherboard were faster. The system had a pcie slot but I found out it did not have enough power for a graphics card (8400GS) and it's only use was for a funky riser card to use multiple displays. HP also cuntlocked the bios so you couldn't upgrade from the Pentium 4 even though it was made well into the core 2 era
>>
Bought a Thinkbook 14 G7 earlier this year.
Overall the laptop is amazing. Divine keyboard (aside from the Copidor button and non-working touchpad toggle in Arch), great specs, lightweight, and aluminium top with GOOD plastic bottom.
But.
It had a Ryzen APU, 45W, and the cooler just couldn't keep up with it. I literally had to manually throttle it down 700MHz just to keep it from exploding. Holy fuck, this is the first time in a long time that I wished I bought Intel instead (there was a Core Ultra 125U model, it didn't overheat at all). Ended up selling it for 60% of the price in September.

>Nowadays we have moved on, there's better ways to do these things. Instead of a window representing a document (what the fuck), there's windows with multiple documents.
I hate to break this to you anon, but tabs are just another way of drawing new windows. Check your process tree. Different ui, same behavior underneath. And what happens when you close the last tab? Does it close the entire program, or does it load your home page or a new tab screen? You only think it's better because it's mimicking MacOS's behaviour.
>Well I've had much more problems with MacOS and multi monitor than I've ever had with any other system
I accept this concession. Apple still don't understand that some people want a second permanent monitor, and still treat them as external, temporary accessories. It's dumb.
