Subjective impressions from listening don't matter that much due to HRTF - meaning everyone hears things differently. What someone percieves as too much treble might be not enough treble for you. This is due to the shape of our ears and ear canals. So a review without the frequency response means nothing since despite the reviewer saying some headphones sound "warm", they might actually be bright to you. FR in a review is the bare minimum to be credible, even better if they post THD, group delay, cumulative spectral decay or step response. I've been trying to get games running on Wine through a VM. I ran into errors about OpenGL not working or something similar. For a good while, I assumed it was just something about VirtualBox or something.It turns out the whole goddamn time all I really had to do was install some 32-bit video drivers.
