Say I want to burn Spirit OS or Tiny Core Linux to a CD. That's 30 MB or 200 MB. For storagemaxxing, how could I use up the free 400 MB on the disc? Maybe a mixed mode disc, multiple partitions / file systems, or multiple tracks? All this has to be done at burn time. After burning, it's probably read-only if CD-R.

Just use mint.

People use mint because it has a driver manager with one click button nvidia install, software manager, software sources manager, update manager. It just werks.

People don't use debian because it has none of that and its terminal based.

Year of the linux desktop is here, it's mint XFCE+X11.

My only gripe is the linux devs not theming mint like pic related out of the box because they are tasteless weirdos who wouldn't know good UI if it hit them on the side of the head despite mint trying to be a drop in replacement for windows 10. It's like they dont want people to switch from windows 10 and want to make their desktop as ugly as possible.

Good thing they make good GUI software though so it makes up for it. I just use cubic to customize the mint XFCE iso, remove all the modern mint-Y themes and default everything to dark. This is the ISO I give to family and friends on a usb as a drop in replacement for windows 10.
