How do we have an air force and whatever the guys who shoot the ICBMs are? The constitution doesn't mention airforce or space force, it mentions Army, Navy and Militia. Shouldn't the air force, the ICBMs dudes and space force be divisions of the navy like the marines are? There are no limitations on the navy. Article I section 8 clause 13 just says
>To provide and maintain a Navy;
and then doesn't elaborate

Judaism is a pedo religion because it was created by bronze age middle Easterners, and arranged marriages with very young girls was part of their culture.

Now Jesus was indeed a SJW who questioned everything about Jewish traditions causing a lot of Jews to split away, and because that religion was open to everyone it became very popular and powerful, which in turn attracted pedos who understood they could get away with diddling kids. The Church covered it up every time making it a pedo religion.

Islam is a pedo religion because it was created by medieval middle Easterners, and arranged marriages with very young girls was part of their culture.
>>
>>64695315
a church covering for pedos is not the same as the prophet himself having a child bride that he definitely raped

>>it doesn't make sense for someone to buy an entry level bolt action rifle in the US
>That's the part that confused me.
A mossberg patriot in .308 is going to end up being more expensive than an AR when you factor in ammo, even if you don't shoot much and it's going to be less pleasant to shoot due to the larger round and the fact hunting rifles are generally light for caliber and have very light barrels for caliber that heat up fast.
it's like how hunting shotguns are generally lighter and less pleasant to shoot then clays shotguns
>>
>>64691490
>mossberg patriot
it's mediocre. you probably regret not getting a savage axis or something. it's ok anon, I was stupid enough to fall for it too.

> you can't just get the cheapest .223/5.56/7.62 NATO chambered gun
You literally can, they're all classified as semi automatic hunting or sporting rifles
> that will shoot decently to 200m
Any gun will shoot decently to 200m as long as it's not dug up from a river or is a pistol
> use it for hunting
You can hunt with with a stick as long as you're a certified hunter
>>64694532
> Le - le poor
Europe is not one county but in general same regulations apply and they don't involve goofy gun grip design laws like in some us states.
Category B firearms are handguns, revolvers, shitguns, bolt and semi automatic rifles of any kind as long as they have a matching serial and they're sold with licences.
Not OP, I don't have a patriot but I've used a savage a few times, seemed like a nice gun for the price the owner told me and it's "cheap" build quality
>>
>>64694687
It's legal but other hunters will moan, at least here. So you need to "look the part" along with your weapon.
>You can hunt with with a stick
Not here, needs to be a firearm (smokeless, can't be blackpowder). I wish we could hunt wolves with spears.

>>64694615
I meant why compare US to Europe. Prices will be different so it might not be a 1:1 comparison. Even inside Europe it's not necessarily going to be 1:1. .308 for a dollar per bullet. It's fucking grim.
>>
>>64695154
> other hunters will moan, at least here
Fudds are universal and exist all across the globe, I sometimes agree with them when I see tacticoolized aks and so on, looks cringe. They're the same thing as with other groups like motorcyclists and oldfags that hate sportbikes and should be ignored
> needs to be a firearm (smokeless, can't be blackpowder)
Weird, I thought bow hunting was done literally everywhere
> Even inside Europe it's not necessarily going to be 1:1. .308 for a dollar per bullet. It's fucking grim.
308 is wild in my country, in stores 308 goes all the way from 1 euro a piece to 3-4. Though there's an ammunition factory near my town and they sell to everyone and fmj rounds are comically cheap, you can buy a belt of 7.62x51 legally

>Soviet design
No
>and manufacturing
Yes
Soviet design was good, sometimes even very good. But their primitive, vodka fueled manufacturing manned by pathological cheaters and liars created by commie 'society' was unable to produce anything even remotely similar in quality and/or parameters to original designs.
The 'adaptng the design for mass production', aka using shit materials and methods, never mentioned in original project was a norm in soviet industry, both military and civilian.
This lead to other phenomenon: 'the curse of magnificent prototype'. When new piece of hardware was introduced and initially tested, it was performing admirably and was often really amazing. However, that was a single (or just few) unit literally hand-made by highly skilled personel, under strict supervision of the designers, following the necessary procedures and using correct, high quality materials.
Since in Russia retarded economy and society none of the above can (and won't) be kept in day to day life, the moment a design was passed to factory, it turns into a pile of expensive, barely functioning shit. See the story of 'best in the world ans impossible to intercept' Kindzhals.
Add to this widespread and rampagng falsyfing of 99.99% of feedback, reports and/or documents in order to please (equally ignorant) supervisors and you will have a story of Russian manufacturing since 1918 until today.

It's fine. Probably better for you to get a relatively inexpensive revolver for woods carry in case you drop it, or it gets submerged in water and not properly dried out, or it gets lost somewhere after a hiking accident, or you are forced to use it on a homeless man and need to melt it with thermite to destroy the murder evidence.

i am really enjoying .32 HR mag but man new SW quality control is trash

everything is so gritty and the surfaces grind on each other in mostly cosmetic ways so far. how are sp101s in 327 quality wise? smooth?
>>
>>64671481
>>64671353
i am loving 100 gr high desert wadcutters and JHPs in .32 hr mag
the recoil is extremely soft. half the recoil of standard pressure 38 with more or less .38+p ballistics/effect. federal 85g jhps get like 20" of penetration too. deeper penetration but slightly less cavitation in gel than 38+p but there wasnt much in the first place so it's all shot placement. you get 6 rounds and while QC is hit or miss with SW now that's the industry standard and the 632UC has great grips.

for a 16oz gun, half the recoil of .38 with 38+p tier performance is great. if you get an SP101 which i might you can use buffalo bore's hot .32 mag loads which are .30 super carry tier.

might need to send this off a gunsmith for an action job but it works fine just meh jeet quality control compared to old SW but that's every company now for the most part. highly recommend the cartridge though.

for what extra power 38 gives you over .32 its only a little and frankly not worth the recoil, hand pain and loss of an extra bullet when you get faster and more accurate follow up shots and still in the 38+p category of overall effectiveness with the right loads
>>
>>64694172
only real downside is the ammo is expensive but you can train with 32 long from sellier and bellot since they hit about point of aim too

i enjoy the grips and actual iron sights and the ability to put this in a coat pocket and do anything with it. holster or no holster. very easy to be armed in those moments you'd normally leave your gun at home and you're not underarmed by any means either and your hand isn't going to get raped like with a .38+p in an airweight
>>
>>64694164
I have one of the new 3" barrel ones with the half lug, its OK but has sticky extraction on standard pressure factory .327s. I really should send it into Ruger and see if they'll polish the chambers under warranty.

My great grandfather was a decorated officer in the US Airforce during the Korean War. My great uncle has a display case with his medals, and his service rifle, which is a select fire M2 Carbine. I haven't inspected it closely, so idk if it's functional or demilitarized. If it is functional idk if it registered or transferable.

Has anyone heard of a scenario like this before? I can't find any examples online of an officer being given an M2 when they retired. I'm also certain that it is an M2, not an M1 Carbine.

My great uncle plans to give me his guns, including that one at some point in the near future. Obviously I hope it's transferable, but I think that could only be the case if it was registered when he retired. I doubt that he submitted any paperwork for it later in his life, and I know that my great uncle never did.

Any thoughts or advice?

As the other Anons said, look for paperwork, but if you can't find it an option is to swap the M2 marked parts with a M1 receiver to still be able to display and shoot it and hide the M2 receiver somewhere very safe with plenty of grease in case the law ever changes.
