How the fuck do you even make mechs make tactical sense?

They present a high as fuck target, have these thin chicken legs with a million moving parts, exert ludicrous ground pressure. They cost probably as much as a nuclear submarine, are limited by line of sight, would be fucked up by a tank, couldn't touch a modern jet that could kill it from 30000 feet high and 10 miles away etc.

Like how the hell do you bend the rules of your universe to make these

I wouldn't be sperging out about this if Battletech was lemonade sci-fi running on the rule of cool and the power of friendship, but its intended audience was milsim autists who willingly bought hundred-page pretend technical manuals for these pieces of garbage.

Still a hell of a lot cheaper than the mech it destroys, it's about 150,000 or so C-Bills per missile but even a locust will be costing you 1.5 million C-Bills.

Are you ready for the war in ukraine to evolve into a situation where russian meat waves get gunned down by robots, while ukie soldiers focus on air defense and drone operation?

>A Ukrainian commander said his troops used a single remote-controlled vehicle with a machine gun to hold frontline areas for nearly six straight weeks.
>The gun-wielding drone used by Zinkevych's troops was the Droid TW 12.7, developed by the Ukrainian company DevDroid. It is a remote-controlled tracked buggy equipped with a .50-caliber M2 Browning.
>Two versions of the ground drone with grenade launchers — the Mk-19 and AGL-53 40mm — were also approved last month by Ukraine for official military use.

Eurosystem cash reserves are nearly 1.123 trilion euros. All euro cunts combined have even more combined. As long as Zelensky is able to manage his relations with the EU states, he'll never run out of money. The eu itself has so much fuck you money, it's absurd. When the price for natgas went nuts in 2022, the eu just paid inflated prices to get all natgas tankers to unload in the EU, causing sri lanka to collapse and almost cause Pakistan to collapse into civil war.
No fucking idea what Putin's plan is, but he's competing against a madhouse with too much money.

Yes, they did. Commie blocks (not just the individual buildings) were literally designed for defense after urban warfare lessons learnt during WWII.

It's not a fucking coincidence that every single city in Ukraine has to be slowly reduced to rubble before an attacker can get anywhere.

Anybody freehand sharpen? I've been doing it for years starting with waterstones all the way down to tiny arkansas stones and india stone rods. My new thing is stones glued to sticks, once you get your technique down you don't need a flat surface and can just pull it out and start sharpening while you are walking even.

I've started gluing stones to sticks using epoxy. I think if you buy a bag of discount knives and practice sharpening it shouldn't take too long. Honing a blade freehand is therapeutic in a way, like meditation.

>The engagements between the Pakistani Air Force and the Indian Air Force during Operation Sindoor in May 2025 provided useful, albeit incomplete, insight into the capabilities of PLAAF missiles and aircraft compared to their Western and Russian counterparts. During a series of long range engagements, at least one Indian Rafale was shot down, along with a Su-30MKI, and potentially two to three other Indian fighters. Pakistani officials claimed that the PL-15E (E standing for ‘Export’ version) missile that hit the Rafale was fired from 200 km away. Regardless of the exact figures, several relatively advanced Indian Air Force fighters were hit by PL-15E missiles fired by J-10CE fighters in their first ever combat engagement at unprecedented distances.
>The contrast between China and Russia’s long-range air-to-air missile performance during Operation Sindoor and the war in Ukraine respectively is striking. Despite regularly firing R-37M missiles at often obsolescent Ukrainian aircraft with very limited defensive sensor capabilities, Russian Su-35s, Su-30s and MiG-31s have achieved only a handful of air-to-air kills over four years of conflict. It is also worth stressing that the PL-15Es used by Pakistani J-10CEs during the clashes with the Indian Air Force in May 2025 were probably significantly less capable than the state-of-the-art missiles currently in frontline PLAAF and PLANAF service. After all, the baseline PL-15 that probably formed the basis for the PL-15E export variant has been in PLAAF service since approximately 2015 or 2016. If the development of the rest of China’s military capabilities is any indicator, then the PL-15 family of missiles has probably received several software and hardware upgrades for the PLAAF and PLANAF during the intervening decade.

Pakis are Muslims and aryans, which makes them infinitely superior to you 65 IQ inbred Indian Hindu rape rats. Nothing says you are inbred and below 65 IQ quite like admitting you're a Hindu that worships stone carvings of cartoon pedophiles.

Why wouldn't something like pic related work fine as a "do everything" gun for a person living in the densely forested hills of Appalachia, where the power and ballistic advantage of a rifle simply isn't necessary?
>plinking will be good fun with the naturally subsonic .45
>definitely suitable for home defense
>easy enough to fit in a backpack, or take the can off and carry it on your person
>get some .45 Super for killing deer or hogs, or mess around with round ball loadings for taking small game or for pest control
Yes, it's true that rifles can be had for dirt cheap these days. And it's also true that there is no real reason to limit yourself to just one gun, especially a handgun. But in an autistic min-max fantasy where you literally can only own one gun and it has to be able to be carried 24/7/365, does a suppressed .45 automatic make sense? The only real downside I see here is that this is not the best option for summertime concealed carry in hot climates.

Nigger you are too dumb to even follow what I’m saying. You said JHPs don’t reliably expand. That was true 30 years ago. Not today.

As for OPs question, I asked him to post - pistol groups at 25 yards to answer his question. Absolutely shocked I got no response.

> 45 is slightly larger than .36
Correct. Weight has no bearing in this context since FMJ since both get plenty of penetration for the scenario described by OP.
>muh gel
I didn’t bring up gel tests. You did. Go ahead and try to show real world wound channels between 230gr .45 FMJ and 147gr (or even 115 or 124) 9mm FMJ where they have similar shot placement in similar tissue (people, animals, whatever).

We’re giving you shit because you’re acting like .45 is special for being “naturally subsonic”. Our counter arguments are so are many other calibers that are just as easy or easier to get. If you want to argue .45>9mm, ok. But that’s a different thread completely.

Munitions Council anon here. >>64332511 >>64604791
Over the past 24h, Trump and defense contractors have made a ton of announcements that are independent of Munitions Council developments, doubling upon the already increased 2027 2-4x baseline that was targeted by the Munitions Council back in September. So up to a 5-8x increase from 2024.
For Lockheed Martin we have not just PAC-3 MSE from 620/y to 2,000/y but also
>THAAD from 98/y to 400/y
>PrSM 400/y to 2,000/y
>JASSM/LRASM from 1,100/y to 3,300/y
These are the conversations LM is having with the Pentagon. Raytheon is expected to follow suit as Trump is lighting a fire under their ass. If THAAD is seeing a quadrupling, we might actually get 100 SM-3s a year and 500+ SM-6s by 2027. Also cannot forget LM's JATM, 1000 missiles. Now. I'm calling it.

Don't try and reason with Trumptards, they believe anything King Cheeto tells them even if it's obviously not true. The entire election was about the cost of living but instead of doing anything to make costs go down we've had nothing but more inflation thanks to the Trump debt crisis, major losses to domestic businesses that rely on international trade due to tariffs, and now he's gonna' start garnishing wages of those with student debt, which will further compound consumer debt and reduce consumer spending.

>It's a signed EO.

Executive Orders do not have power over private corporations. They, as the name says, order the *executive branch* of the federal government to act according to the order.

an EO can, for example, stop the federal government from making defense procurement deals with corporations that are engaging in stock buybacks, or force the federal government to only make deals where the terms of the contract prohibit these partaking corporations from engaging in stock buybacks.

But an EO does not carry weight in actually commanding whether a private corporation does stock buybacks or how much it pays it's CEO.

How is making costs higher for domestic manufacturers and services that rely on imports and passing those costs on to consumers good?
>PCE is up 3.5%
Yeah, because of inflation and tariffs, where do you get off on calling anyone retarded when you don't understand basic market economics? When things cost more to produce, prices go up. Just because Orange Droolius says they won't doesn't mean companies are going to eat the cost increase, they have profit margins to maintain and operating costs to pay.
