I'd take 1,000 illegals(if they are mexican) over 1 filthy Californian. Hell even the Michigan snow birds are getting on my nerves. All the recent developments are to please rich out of state boomers instead of the actual residents.

Can’t speak for Texans but AZ has been getting a fuck ton. Every uber and door dash driver is a poo that doesn’t speak English. And they are slurping up most of the mid tier office jobs.

An absolute world record - a pilot took down a Shahed with interceptor STING at a distance of 500 km

Using Hornet Vision Ctrl technology, Roman “Hulk” from the BULAVA unit downed two Shaheds located 500 km away

Iran should play the pilot they captured more well to bait the americans to put boots on the ground.
They can capture more and get some good drone footage thereby giving the mutts a morality debuff making them less combat effective and keep doing it until morale improves.

I'm working on a sci-fi universe and I want to know which spaceplane concept would be the most practical among all concepts and implementations for fighters, bombers, transports, reconnaissance, helicopters, and other military or fleet aircraft across Army, Navy, and Air Force roles. I am open to including the rule of cool as a factor in the decision

>For any type of large scale ship your going to need X Y Z primary and thrusters otherwise your falling into the trap of thruster bank and go foward fast but can't turn.
>gundbuster spaceship
You do realize that in the vacuum of space REAL SPACESHIP only need to vector the thrusters, rotating the ship 360° around, then burn in any direction you need?
Any mass you waste is mass you cannot have in propellant, reducing your deltaV budget, and thus your range.
Lastly, given how dangerous nuclear thrusters are, you don't want them pointed carelessly in every direction, if the reactor is too dangerous to even have the ship dock itself, you'd not need extra thrusters and rather use specialized tugs or docking robot-arms.

That said, I'm a proponent of the paper-armor balloon spaceship designed to move the thrusters anywhere it needs inside itself.

What crawled up your ass? The West leeched of German tech for years too. When both sides ran that tech to its logical obsolescence, the West pulled away. This isn't even an arguable point. And harping on using a single piece of engineering (the nozzle rotation coupler) out an entire aircraft design is reaching, sport. Miles was cancelled because you poorfags ran out of money. Bell was happy to give that team credit for their contributions to X-1, but butthurt poorfags like you want to claim the whole fucking thing. Sit down, dimwit. Nobody came at you.

Eh, I wouldn't call it ugly, I don't think it's bad at all. I think it would look better with a different bipod though. I can't complain about the function of Harris bipods but the stamped sheetmetal construction doesn't really match the look of the rest of the gun.
>>
>>65044406
I only called it ugly because, to me, it looks like a bunch of different guns put together. I would take one of these if I won it but I don't think I'd pay 2k for it
>>
>>65044440
>it looks like a bunch of different guns put together.
totally. Normally you'd expect stainless metal with the grey laminate stock so that's a bit of a mismatch. Then you've also got the detachable mag and the carbon barrel, both of which look pretty odd on a levergat. You also rarely see adjustable comb stocks on levergats. It is absolutely a hodgepodge of different stuff. I bet it feels strange to pick up too, between the carbon barrel, the box mag, and the stock the center of balance is probably much farther back compared to a traditional levergun. It would probably look, and balance, better with a suppressor on it.

The sheer number of drones is incredible and I guess a sign of things to come. It brings home how the conflict has totally changed since 2022. Tbh I was rooting for them.

The drones are like something out of a post apocalyptic movie, like airborne versions of the dogs from War of this Worlds.

I have a 1916 Amberg Gew.98M. It was sitting in dinged up Persian Vz98/22 furniture when I found it, but I paid an unheard of $450 three years ago, so I didn't mind. Last month I somehow walked into proper replacement furniture for $250 at a show. Idk what's more impressive, the price, the condition, or the existence of an intact imperial German stock/band set, numbers matching.
The entirely believable backstory I got from the seller: U.S. Army vet captured the complete rifle out of a very late-war surrender pile, then had the barrel/action sporterized. Being a child of the Great Depression, he held onto the furniture and bands in his workshop in case they could ever be cannibalized for some purpose later. Seller bought the set from the vet's son at a garage sale and wanted it gone. The sporter rifle is still in the family and brought out every deer season.

For all the hype around swords being expensive, they really weren't. They cost about 1 week of a smith's wage. If you were an unskilled labourer you made half that and a squire half again, but that means even an apprentice could save up for one in a year or less if they really wanted to. If you have 3k in your bank account right now then you have the equivelant enough for an entry level sword
