>chink government has every reason to undercount any contribution the coofening had to deaths, despite the initial outbreak seeing Chinks drop dead in the street, likely due to preexisting asthma from their smog.
>libtards and functionaries in the US government desperately trying to compel Americans to take the shot due to a combination of hysteria, ideological hatred for those who don't like government boots, and a disgust reaction against those who don't socially signal their compliance with "norms" have every reason to overcount and attribute every death by pneumonia to the coof.

I can't help but feel way more chinks "died" to corona-chan than Americans, regardless of the criteria by which we are defining "died" so long as those criteria are applied to both populations.

many such cases with the nazis
>>
>>65047400
Well the Schweizerdolch was very common in southern Germany and Switzerland. But the nazis misinterpreted the swiss Reisläufer as an exclusive german phenomenon and thus used it. This led to a quite funny circumstance: the Swiss in the late 1940s were weary of the rise of Nazi Germany and revised the old shape of the Schweizerdolch too with the intention of emphasising the swiss readyness for the defense of the land. But by that point in time this shape was already heavily associated with the Nazis and the swiss thus changed the design by increasing the size and shape of the crossguard.

A Portepee. Originally it was a simple loop fixed to a sword and slung around the wrist that helped with retaining a sword. But it evolved into a military rank insignia by the 17th and 18th centuries.

It's dead for current military use, but like .30-06 there's a bunch of surp on the market and it's still popular for civilian hunting. It's far from a rare cartridge, the ammo is easy to find.

What’s your Oal, bullet length, and load grain weight? Also if those are the hollow base lehighs maybe put one on your scale hollow base up and measure the weight of the water it’ll hold…. Would want to add that to the capacity in the cartridge..
>>

>Id have to do some reading on the maks, to see how spicy they can go.
A quick glance suggests it could handle .380 +p levels quite easily. The basic 95 grain 9x18 Makarov loading is about 1,000 fps with 250 lb/ft muzzle energy. The basic 90 grain .380 +p is around 1,100 fps and 260 lb/ft.
Generally speaking.

You can convert berdan to boxer, but its a royal bitch to do. Theres new made stuff you can get thats boxer, or once fired if youre not a pussy. Try and get some greek surplus, has HXP on the base. Boxer primed, thick cases.

Measure out a new factory load/properly sized+trimmed reload before firing, then measure the fired case OAL to get an idea of how much headspace you have.

Or take it to a competent gunsmith and have them do it for you.

>>65046635
You can get around that by annealing periodically. 303 isnt any harder than any other necked rifle cart, use plenty of lube on sizing and youll be fine.

Ought to use .311 or .312 bullets, .308s might be too small for the throat

Did Phalanx ever successfully shoot down a AShM?

I believe the one time the system was ever turned on while Silkworms were fired for it to shoot down, it locked onto chaff and shot a burst at a friendly DDG.
>>
>>65048838
That was in the late 80s, IIRC. A few years after the book was written.
>>
>>65046376
There's another more desperate option that belongs in your list which very few people know or talk about: using your least capable or valuable ship as a missile sponge by placing it at the head of the formation. When cold war-era missile seekers go active they don't know which target to prioritize, they simply lock onto the strongest return. If you know you can't defend against them all, perversely it's far better to allow one ship to be destroyed utterly than to allow each ship to take a single hit.

Thanks anons

Does anyone here have experience with 10m air pistol shooting? I wanted get into some form of bullseye competitive shooting that isn't two gun matches since it wouldn't involve me having to run around like a jackass. Plus .177 cal competition pellets are far cheaper than having to stock up on real ammo. I was looking around for an air pistol and I noticed there are massive price jumps.
>Air Venturi Steyr knockoff
While it is only ~$650 online people seem to complain about the grips and also don't appear to be all that accurate after you get out of being a novice
>Hammerli AP20 Pro
I want to get one of these since they seem to be an okay price, but I am unsure what they are lacking being $1000 cheaper than a Steyr, Morini, or even a Pardini
>Steyr, Morini, and Pardini
I noticed most Olympic shooters go with either a Steyr LP10 (pic rel) but I am unsure what these three offer or differ over the other options other than I know most of the offerings from Morini have an electronic trigger and I know I am not overly crazy over that. But I am not sure dropping $2200-2500 on a pistol when I am unsure if I would even like the sport is wise to do when just starting out.
>Used pistols
I see older pistols like Walther CPs or Feinwerkbau pistols go for a lot less on Fuddjoker or ebay, but I am unsure if spare parts exist or if the air tubes have service lives from being constantly filled and unfilled, seals, trigger parts, etc. are hassles I want to deal with.

Heads need to fucking roll in the US military. Especially considering that the DOD's own reports were sounding the alarm bells on this.

We aren't a serious country if a few dozen 4-stars from various branches are not shitcanned.
