That's different from dragging an image or model into Clipstudio, scaling and rotating it to the way you want and drawing over it.
>>

>Mangakas back then had reference books
Yes, and? The point isn't originality, the point is attention to detail. They gave enough of a shit to bother to draw the tiny little details instead of just drawing a generic gun. When someone uses another's digital asset all the work is already done. Copying someone's 15-polygon model is just as easy as copying someone's 50,000 poly model. But when people are drawing shit by hand they have to care enough to take the time to get all the little details.

This gets a laugh out of me every time I see it lol

what should I get a Mossberg 590 or a 590A1? Is the A1 just a boomer meme for "military grade" collector value or is it actually worth the beefed up construction?

>>
>>64255829
had both the difference is 590 has plastic trigger guard and potentially different finishes since 590 has more variations. and the barrel.
590 is noticibly front heavy, 590a1 is why the hell is it this heavy? you know the answer its the barrel but really whose denting normal 500 thickness barrel or breaking the plastic trigger guards?
yeah theoretically it could happen and has happend occasionally but theres so many mossbergs out there and its not happening constantly. its not like every plastic trigger guard disintegrates.
got rid of the 590a1 kept the 590 but if im going to shoot a pump at the range i use a 28 inch barreled 500.

The weight thing could be pro or a con, it depends on what you want to do with the gun. If you want to carry it around innawoods the extra weight fucking sucks. If you're just using it as a range toy or for HD then the weight is actually a benefit since it will reduce felt recoil.
>>
>>64255890
>If you're just using it as a range toy or for HD then the weight is actually a benefit since it will reduce felt recoil.
it does not
or if it does its barely
you should not expect weight do anything to reduce felt recoil in a practical sense.
the 500 590 and 590a1 all felt like yeah thats a 12 gauge shotgun in terms of recoil.
adding something like a limbsaver will change felt recoil. the weight difference and felt recoil isnt a thing you notice.
if its drastic like a 4lb singleshot vs a 8lb pump youll notice. but for mossbergs and they are within 1-2lbs difference nope.
>>
>>64253212
I am in the exact same spot as this guy. I would love a 590a1, but my 500 is just so reliable that I can't bring myself to spend the money on a whole new gun to replace it. But if this is your first time, the 590a1 will be more than tough enough to do whatever you need to do.

This. Until I see some 4-star faggot, high level DIA or DoE faggots, or Technical Director of somewhere like UTTR/Phillips Lab Kirtland/Redstone Arsenal/ONR, it's all for show. It's not like these Congress tards don't have access to these people. They could 100% get to the bottom of this. If I were a betting man, I would say all this started out as joint program between the AEC and US Navy. Christopher Mellon literally mentions "someone should look into the DoE's involvement" in every fucking interview, but the only person that listened (and not even well) was Annie Jacobsen. All the real whistleblowers would be NDA'd out the ass, but I wonder if the project names are on the Secrecy Orders and if Congress could force them to at minimum produce the NDA's.

https://www.patriagroup.com/newsroom/news/2025/patria-trackx-the-ultimate-all-terrain-tracked-vehicle-launched-at-dsei-uk-in-london

with over 80k M113s + 55k MT-LBs produced and ~most of them still in service I'm surprised no one else has figured to make a direct replacement till now, fells like patria has found a niche market they can corner without effort. Especially since they seem to be very willing to partner with local producers.

Patria has always made goated vehicles and equipment.
The problem has been that the government cucked them from contracts with countries actually fighting/preparing for war such as meanie baddy middle eastern nations etc. Now that the whole of Europe is getting ready for WW3 everything is changing.

Knife fighting arts, like kali, and knife self-defense is all bullshit right? I mean 2 guys in a knife fight is literally all about who strikes first and there is no way to effectively defend yourself from a knife-wielder if you are unarmed, right?

>>64253493
A lot of it would have come about by the fact everyone carried some kind of knife, maybe it was for cutting plants or culinary utility, something your had for eating, working on the farm or just general woodworking, agriculture and sharpening things. So it made sense that if you didn't have a sturdy bonking stick, part of the society that wasn't allowed battlefield type weapons or for social reasons, you just had a knife on you at a dinner party- some cunt is getting shanked if they fuck around.
Plus for the vast majority of civilization, you were your own personal security first, there was no cops, guards or probably anyone else going to help you, so you used what you more than likely just had and handled it

>>64255785
my brother in christ, for the last 15 years or so i've trained these things under pressure. I've not been in a live knife fight, but have practiced these techniques, concepts and strategies both with intense pressure from skilled people ive got to train with for years and MORE IMPORTANTLY new people who are using the knife in the most basic way and who dont know or respect me who are needing to see if its BS or not so of course they will try to break and fuck with what im doing but because ive put time and energy into it i'm able to execute my strategy. the end goal is their being cut multiple times up and down their weapon arm and sometimes a few torso stabs from me while my weapon hand and vitals are untouched.
Can it fail, sure, but i count that as a fault of the practitioner and their footwork skills and distance management.
the issue with these strategies/techniques is chances are you or i wont be knife-out at the onset, which breaks any knife fighting system.

it doesnt bother me that some scrub on 4chan doesnt believe me, i'm confident i'm more prepared than you but let us know your experience. maybe youre a Master, idk.
people who know will know while the ignorant remain gay.

>That's "shoot the gun out of their hands" stupid. While you're trying to cut their fingers they'll be stabbing you in the neck.
You're retarded.
The only "winnable" knife fight is essentially a fencing strategy. You wait for a swing, step back, let the opponent swing and you give a quick flick to your opponent's weapon arm. You'll either get the hand or forearm.
This obviously has no applicability if you get rushed and prison shanked.
What you're saying is like arguing that in boxing there's so such thing as strategy or counter-punch, you'll get punched in the face.
