This is very weird. Not only because I'm not sure how many abilities actually function like that, but anything designed to be 1/day or 1/hour should very clearly be adjusted to match the change for short rests being 8 hours and long rests being 24.
You really don't want to have a bunch of different recharge methods at the same time.

That aside, how well the length of rests change things depends a lot on how you plan to handle random encounter rates while traveling and camping. It's something that can easily be accounted for if you pace the adventure properly, functionally turning an adventuring day into an adventuring week, but it's something to be mindful of.
I've seen some variants that rework a Long Rest into being a 'safe rest' where it's only possible at all in secure locations. Much less possibility for the players to leave a dungeon and then burn a day resting in the wilderness nearby. 24 hours isn't exactly a massive period of time, unless random encounters are particularly punishing.

Default rations and living costs would also benefit more if you shift the game to a primarily silver-based economy. The current rates of spending are fairly trivial for rations, meals, and inn stays, and so you need to rebalance the economics if you want those to matter. Gaining extra HD based on meal and rest quality could be a useful balancing factor.
Likewise with rules for encumbrance, because tracking rations themselves becomes less important if even the 8 Strength wizard can carry 120 pounds.

More spells being rituals is an interesting option that helps to mitigate some of the problems spellcasters face when long rests are more rare. Mage Armor comes to mind as a strong candidate, being something that otherwise lasts an entire adventuring day.

No, no, no and no
resin is also import into slicer and click print, the failures do to improper supports are just as prevalent, with resin it's as simple as using a good slicer like lychee to auto support, with fdm you often have to redesign the file to prevent failures.
I use both, both have strengths and weaknesses, the problems with resin usually occur with catastrophic failures, being too cheap and using an FEP sheet too long, having it break and then dealing with a mess as you try to drain it back into the bottle with a hole in it.
vat cleaning? a joke, if you have a resin failure you remove the vat, you gently press underneath with your finger to lift an edge and then remove the bit of solid resin.
gloves are unnecessary, mask is being a paranoid bitch, even the MSDS states that the only long term risks of resin are to aquatic life if you dispose of liquid resin improperly, but why would you dump out liquid resin? that's your desired material, the only resin you should be disposing of is failures that can't be used and cast off supports, but even failures often get repurposed into things like objective markers, terrain scraps and sources of spare weapon bits, etc...
with FDM a failure an result in burning your fucking house down, you can walk away from a resin print, you can't walk away from an FDM, at least not without taking a risk.
that's not to say you should print in FDM, it's an incredible tool and I use it for far more than just hobbying, FDM can and does produce useful objects for everyday life and even here on the farm I save thousands of dollars making incidental parts for the tractor and other heavy equipment that the dealer would charge me absurd amounts for.

As for players wanting to play space marines (plural) as a force, that originated pre-killteam and I haven't personally encountered it since that became an official (tm) option.

With combat I know how to give it conflict, but most horny scenes in my games tend to not be interesting enough to play through and are better off summarized and fast forwarded. I often find myself playing like it was regular play, because the lewd elements really take a step back.

It only uses d20 for attack rolls, everything else is 2d6. From what I remember (it's been awhile) it could easily be shoved into something like traveller relatively easily.

But, traveller (post mongoose) doesn't have the kind of complicated space ship combat you're talking about either. You haven't had to worry about vectors and shit in a sci-fi game since probably the eighties.

I will say, the class and level stuff in SWN isn't as... Hard coded, as some other class and level games? You do gain HP as you level, but you never get to really crazy levels, and the classes are fairly broad. But I understand, I much prefer a classless skill based system for sci-fi, leveling seems weird in non-fantasy system for some reason.

You're looking at this process from the wrong side.
GW didn't sit down and choose the 4 gods based on some idea that they can represent the totality or most important elements of the emotional sphere or whatever.
They were a miniatures making company and asked themselves what demons they wanted to make: balrogs and classic red devils were one, glabrezu and succubi were another, and so were vroks, because at the start they were just copying dnd for minis, and they added nurgle because gross undead were cool and squiggly shit they would call horrors because everyone likes sculpting those silly things, together with other freaky sculpting/converting happy accidents; and then they arranged them in groups and that was it.

So if you want a new god added to the pantheon you have to start from an aesthetic and theme for its miniatures that would be missing from the current demons, and not at all some deeper metaphysical or emotional sphere, that can get slapped on later and fit to purpose.
