With no man to be tied down with and being too much of a idealistic firebrand to make compromise and settling much fun anyway, she had little other option than to support herself by using her Badlander outdoor survival skills to pass as a particularly lucky camp follower able to find food and water, then donating the scrounged surplus to the cult of Shallya to aid the women strong enough to take up the charge of caring for children.Then the campaign starts and more money comes in to be wisely allocated along the same priorities. The frugality of which leaves her with a surprising amount of spare coin to get better equipment for herself and the party, who then have a social obligation to remain to pay back their harsh taskmaster (she makes them use words before they murder people for profit).
