>>97202539>only reasons to hate Avatar is because it's good ol' fashioned media about the White Man's God and Family ValuesMaybe people hate it because Jake Sully is a terrible character played by a bland retard who was willing to let all of the blue indians burn and get crushed to death by the transparently evil corporation until he was balls-deep in blue pussy and decided that it was a bad thing that they wanted to stripe mine the alien planet for magic rocks? Maybe it's the incoherent worldbuilding that bothers people who care enough to remember anything about the movie except the fake Quarritch speech that 4chan wrote? Maybe it's the way the plots have no clear point between movies, despite being planned as a 5-part story, like the way they killed off the minor bad guy in the first movie and then proceeded to bring him back because they couldn't come up with a better villain or threat than HOO-RAH Marine man.
>>97181741No.It's wildly inconsistent in its own universe. The movie comments that Navi bones are essentially carbon fiber. >>97204376>was he pissed after the Empire nationalized the trade federation?Very, he had devoted his entire early years to the Trade Federation, serving onboard a Lucrehulk (as a glorified accountant) that was later used in the separatist navy, and when the Clone Wars ended he was in the middle of a firefight between clones and droids that had boarded ship when all the droids suddenly shut down signaling the end of the CIS, luckily for him the captain of the lucrehulk had hired some Weequay mercenaries to bolster a supply shortage of droids on the ship, and they held off the clones long enough for him (along with scant few others) to flee the ship via escape pods down to the planet they were fighting over before blending into the crowds and slipping into the outer rim as the Empire rose to power.>Also, did you do the accent?Tried to, but couldn't do it

>>97204458You are the exact type of midwit I'm referring to. Kreia isn't a mouthpiece for any viewpoint because she doesn't actually espouse one, she just spews out pseud bullshit to bamboozle the player character while she enacts her plans. This is absolutely transparently obvious to anyone who actually plays the game instead of watching their fave poofter eceleb rave about how liek super awesome and edgy she is in a four hour youtube "essay", because after a couple of playthroughs you will realise she adopts *completely contradictory* positions in any given scenario purely depending on how *you* choose to navigate those events. In fact according to Avellone he went into KotOR2 with the contrarian view of the Force you ascribe to him, but creating the storyline wasn't him putting that opinion forward, instead it convinced him his opinion was wrong - *that's* why Kreia is wrong in-universe.And what gets under my skin are subhuman greyjedifags who think they're smart but are actually have the IQ of a sea cucumber, like yourself.

>>97203525>as long as it's only simulated rape/murder.Well I presume Mike and CDPR intended for us to read between the lines here, considering investors might be a little nervous about pushing the envelope that much when a video game costs as much money as it does. They almost cut rebecca from edgerunners because they thought there'd be backlash over her character design.
I'm refereeing for a group of 3 female players. All three are new to Cyberpunk but they have played D&D 5e before and are ok with trying out a new system. I have never GM'd D&D for them but I did play together with 2 of them and they are ok.any advice with storytelling for women?
>>97203755Are they genre-aware? Cyberpunk is not a lighthearted dungeon-crawling fantasy setting. This is a world where if you fuck up, you're dead fast, or worse, your body ends up in some scab chop shop or a corpo lab where you're experimented on and then discarded when you've outlived your usefulness. Particularly for the time of the RED, all of Night City just reeks of shittiness> You start off poor, living out of a shipping container or on the street>No one can source anything>everyone is trying to fuck everyone else out of money>The city is filled with hyper-violence, rape, poverty, and corruption>practically everything you do will cost you humanity, so you have to carefully balance your calendar to allow for some "vacation days" so you don't go cyberpsycho. It depends on the constitution of the players, but if they're normie girls who watched the anime and want some Chromeo and Juliet story, I think they may be disappointed. If they're used to more hard-fantasy stories with grim-dark elements, I think they'd be at home in the game. If their IQ is above room temperature, they should enjoy the same stories guys enjoy (if you're a good storyteller). Other than that, I would go over their character sheet and try to implement parts of their backstory into whatever narrative you're crafting when you can. Guys like this as well, of course. It shows the DM/Ref didn't just glance at the character sheet and handwave them into the world.
>>97203755I'd be more worried about their tabletop game preconceptions coming from 5E more than gender. While you can definitely run your first session however you like (detective mystery, lots of combat, classic heist, social interaction, community building, etc) if you do have a fight it has to be brutal. If 5E players don't at least get a few funny crits in their first combat they won't ever respect the threat of combat. You don't have to make combat hardened especially if the players don't minmax (but since they are 5E players I'm confident they'll at least google 'cyberpunk red starting advice' like mine did). So far my female players have been a violent techrunner who likes upgrading gear for much more danger, another netrunner who likes befriending AI and trapping them in household appliances without wifi access, and a solo who started a gang (which were a failed edgerunner group the crew beat in an early job but I gave them way too much personality). So maybe women are more receptive to interesting NPCs and building groups?

>>97202740>The funny thing about GW pushing diversity so hard is that they confirm that each race cared enough to not mix with outsiders and preserve itself. That implies jewdubs cares about logical consistency within the setting they inherited. They do not. They got told to shove niggers in, they shoved niggers in.
>>97202886>skin color racismThere's no such a thing as 'skin color racism'. Race is not just a skin color. Skin color is a function of geography: how far you live from the equator? It has nothing to do with biological race. South Indians, Niggers and Yemeni Arabs are all distinct races (that also hate each other vehemently) despite being all of them being dark brown.
>>97203997By that logic 40k humanity living on different planets for millennia are by default multiple degrees more racially different than any single human currently living on Earth, and not a single one of them is White the way you want to jerk off to. Truly, the grimdark future is grimdark.
>>97201066Daemons operate on Vibes. Battle, and killing, and death involve blood, thus Daemons when manifested in realspace can have blood even if they have no need of it just because it fits the Vibe. You could argue Tzeentch and Slaneesh Daemons would deliberately try not to manifest while having blood just so Khorne wouldn't get a kick out of their deaths, but with the Warp nothing is that cut and dry

>>97200129Now how about a home game of Zero Escape? Nine players is a little more manageable, but how do you breed the necessary amounts of distrust between your players especially in later loops?
>>97200129Why not 1 case, predetermined killer and victim, set life period (or none at all), set clues, set amount of debate time, and final vote. Number of players could be from 5 to 15.That seems pretty manageable to me provided players don't get distracted

Is there a super system that is purpose built to integrate RPG scale, Skirmish, scale and wargame scale scenarios into one campaign?I think that would be pretty epic. You might first go on an rpg party scale infiltration mission to get some kind of advantage for the next session that is a wargame, where if you succeeded, maybe you can hide a unit anywhere on the tabletop.I think I heard people saying that it was kind of attempted in some Old DnD releases and ACKS, but it never seems to really be all that focused on or displayed in action much.Would totally be a niche gameplay style that would require a group both up for rpg's and wargames, but I think it could be pretty epic.
