Instead of wishing for something he can't have, like more elements, he prefers to concentrate on stuff he could learn with enough effort. After the introduction Daimon has been very quiet, and after talking a bit with the others Lucianus discovered that many of them do speak with the soul more often. This prompted Lucianus to call for Daimon and he answered, he could always comunicate, he just had nothing to say. His memory about the danger the party needs to face is fuzzy and since Lucianus was doing well he did not have to interfere. After this sudden realization the two started interacting more, but Daimon still only speaks in very short sentences. Then there is The Voices, those Daimon has too, they are everpresent, but apparently they are helpful according to Daimon.
