WB is fucking cursed.

AT&T bought WB and ended up regretting it.
Discovery bought WB and ended up regretting it.
Now Netflix is trying to buy WB and will end up regretting it.

WB is just a bomb killing everything.

>Ivan still can't wrap his head around this being an adaptation of a different book, which he clearly didn't read
I don't blame you, since it apparently never had a release in Russian. And you aren't missing much, to be frank.
But it's still embarrassing how you try to sound smug by bringing unrelated book due to surface-level similarity that only someone who neither watched Annihilation nor read Roadside Picnic would make and basing his smug opinion on the fact both have a premise of an alien contact exclusion zone with weird shit going...
... which is precisely where the connection ends.

>prostitute is the actual age old term that leaves any negative connotation and emotion out of it
Except it does have a negative connotation because prostitution is an inherently negative thing. That's the point of the term "sex worker". It's a linguistic trick to try and get people to view it as just another job and not the degenerative social ill that it is. It's not just about using inoffensive language. It's about trying to reshape morality.

For that matter, whatever happened to 1970s "sex surrogates", who befriend incels and loosen them up for sex.

Hear that, idiot Hollywood? There's some stories lying there to be made. Sex surrogates cracking the shells of incels. Make it happen!

In this case, lesbian edition preferrably.

>Steve Rogers returns, but not as Captain America. He will wear normal clothes and wield Thor’s hammer.
>Peggy Carter will have a major role. This Peggy is Steve’s wife and not the Captain Carter variant from the What If…? animated series.
>Steve and Peggy have two children, a boy named James and a girl named Sarah, and at some point, we see them as adult superheroes with their own shields.
>Doctor Doom was disfigured and lost his family in an incursion and pretends to be a hero who wants to save the Multiverse for most of the movie in order to manipulate the Avengers into fighting to advance his goals.
>Doom asks the Fantastic Four for help to save the Multiverse. They travel to the Avengers’ universe together and recruit them to travel to the X-Men’s universe to prevent their two universes from colliding, destroying both.
>Doom, Steve and Thor are with the F4 when they arrive on Earth and meet the Avengers and the Thunderbolts.
>Reed Richards is the one who figures out Doom is lying and exposes him. Doom abducts Reed’s son Franklin Richards, turning the two into bitter rivals.
>Doom blames Rogers to creating the incursions by creating a branch timeline to be with Peggy and wants revenge against him.
>Doctor Strange betrays the Avengers by siding with Doctor Doom, believing he is the only one who can save the Multiverse.
>Doom has a group of masked enforcers named the Harbingers, one of which is ultimately revealed to be a brainwashed Scarlet Witch.

I actually had to do this exercise as part of a sales workshop and it just degenerated into each person telling more and more outrageous lies about the men's construction, abilities, and potential value.
>>

I'm sorry sir, I can't do that, the product has been discontinued. This particular pen is one of only two units that we have left. The other pen has already been sold, but we have a very strong indication that there will be a buyer for this particular pen tomorrow, and the buyer says he's willing to pay double.

It's a really great pen, too, I can see why he wants it. *physically manipulates pen, flips it up in the air, manipulates it, draws a few quick doodles, makes the clicking noise with it* But as I say, It's spoken for, probably.

My funny valentine is the worst cowboy bebop episode. That’s completely nonsensical that someone would be put in cryogenic sleep in the 20th century and awaken in 2073 and then need to pay their own hospital fee for the time theu were frozen- they would have paid that before being put to sleep.

The government wouldn’t let some random person awake with no name or identity and expect them to pay millions of dollars. That’s retarded.
>>
Most of the show is just gag/homage episodes. 3/4 of the episodes are filler.
Everyones favourite anime is one of the weakest things the director ever did, with only terror in resonance and lazarus being worse.
>>
>>217479475
Cowboy bebop is to 70s cop movies what Family guy is to 80s media and “I watched tv in the 80s once.”

Cowboy bebop is “I watched a 1970s crime movie once.”

Gene always played the same fucking character though, the boomer always mad at something who implicitly beat his wife and was openly racist. He never explored any character depths beyond that.
>>
>>217479078

leading man and character actor are not fixed categories in most cases.
some typical character actors may be sometimes cast as protagonists, especially in low budget/independent/arthouse films. Big stars can appear in small roles if they want to work with a specific director.
Coppola's The Conversation wasn't supposed to be a blockbuster.

Buddy, pal, friend, bucko.

There is no world where the original Universal Mummy is better in any way than the Brandon Fraiser remake. None. The acting is worse. The pacing is glacial. The story is every bit as nonsensical and even makes the sin of being weirdly padded for an already relatively short movie. CGI slop for little children is still better than the alternative.

To clarify, because nobody else has seen it and might think "Well clearly this is just a more cerebral thinky movie and this random fuck just needs his flashy lights." It's not. It is not a smart movie. It does not posit any ideas or do anything unique with the idea a character is literally a living mummy just walking around looking like a regular as guy. This is not Ran where it's slow as fuck but it's slow because it has a lot to say, it is slow because it does not have the budget for its idea and it does not have the script to fill in the timeframe wisely. There's a reason it's mostly forgotten and it's a good one.
