I've wanted to be a screenwriter for a long time , always shied away in favor of practical careers and rightly so.... But with AI and all this upheaval I'm starting to see that life is a little short to not take some gambles. Lets just assume for the sake of this example that I have great writing / honed my craft , is it STILL worth the effort over lets say the next 10 years to really try to get it in front of directors and studios etc to try to make the dream happen? Or is it really a massive jews club that nobody gets to break into and make big features if you aren't in the club? I'm not tied to hollywood either, and not white either which I suspect hurts me even more, I just want to see my work get made, so that could mean pivoting to stage plays , games, etc.
