Psych is my favorite show of all time. It gets weaker in the last couple seasons as people have said but still watchable. I put the movies generally in that same tier, they're ok but they share a lot of the same stupid direction and tone of the later seasons. There's also a part maybe around season 2 or 3 where Shawn becomes unbearable, every time someone speaks he interrupts them and says something obnoxious, like beyond the norm for the character which with minor moderation I enjoy, it doesn't last long, it's like it winds up for 5-6 episodes then they must have focus grouped people because they reign in it big time. Definitely watch it though, Monk is cool too even though Psych borrows plots from it at times so I wouldn't watch them back to back
