I really do like the first two Tron films. They both have a whole lot of ideas that they are more than excited to show off to the audience but never having enough time to properly explore them. I watched them both back to back a weekend back and man, I never really thought about how quick they wrap up. Each has like two shots after the Flynns escape their grids before credits roll. And Uprising never even got fucking finished. I appreciate them for streching out as much as they could with what they got and filling them with some really odd yet cool metaphysical concepts on top of the generally appealing aesthetic.I won't speak on Ares as I haven't seen it. I will inevitably, but not right now.
