I stand by the notion that a black or female Doctor isn't necessarily cursed as an idea, but the 2010's and 2020's were the absolute worst time for it to happen.At this point I just resist the idea on the basis that I don't think there's anything "wrong" with the Doctor being a white man. The leaks may be true, but on the other hand these piecesof shit movies go through 3 or 4 rounds of massive reshoots due to test audiences and random executives hating everything. There was a 5 minute scene of Galactus eating a planet with all the life on it horrifically dying that got cut from FF. And sure as shit its ending wasn't what was originally shot.
