I didn't HATE it but I wasn't really having fun either.The companions weren't that bad, you'd have to be playing really poorly for them to go down. The ice shot basically made everything your bitch, the ammo system became pointless after a while because most of the upgrades in the game are just shot expansions.There is enemy variety but most of them are locked off in rooms you barely spend 10 seconds in and the "memorable" setpieces just reuse the same robot drones or grievers over and over.The open world is brain static, it adds nothing and that word can describe the puzzles too. There are some cute moments to break up the pace between collectibles but I can count them on one hand.Sylux is for some reason. His actual boss battle feels like it was ripped from a completely different build of the game and makes me wonder why, where and how he got psychic powers to counter yours.A lot of this game feels like it was cobbled together with ductape where Retro wanted to do one thing, then switched to a different thing, and again to a very different thing until they or Nintendo said "no more switching ideas" and had to glue these things together to release the game already.The end result just made me feel nothing, no joy, anger or sorrow. Just white noise wondering what the actual fuck the people in charge were thinking with any of the elements presented.At least Sylux and the Lamorn armor look cool... I guess the music is great too.

Speaking of PVE and PVP mixed games.I used to like the first TC Division game because the dark zone was fun as a concept.I mean it was ass at first because only turbo faggots, autists and grieffers got the best loot.As I forced myself to play the game if only to beat the PVP niggers, I did end up enjoying the game more.I could never force myself to kill people without prior provocation, even when I reached the point I could beat several players at the same time, but playing Dark Zone police was fun because PVP against Rogue agents could be a challenge or they would be shitters seeking to kill noobs and I would curb stomp them forcing them to play nice.My favorite memory is teaming up to take the largest PVP autist in the server, he got used to having his way because he had items that were removed from the game, but I teamed up with two other rogue agents I was fighting earlier, in fact I came to their aid because the game log reported them being killed over and over.We fuck his shit up so badly he had to call a friend, and even then the game was too even so he ragequit.So PVP/E mixed game can be fun, but I feel the Division had something special.Ubisoft ruined it in the sequel.

I'd probably also make factions based on the common career paths in other Sims games.Ideally for me this would be in the MySims visual style but I wouldn't mind if it looked like The Sims 2 or any of the pre-sims 3 games.
