I don't actively punish a slave until they have no points left and continue making mistakes, or they actively do something stupid like try to escape, hit me or sabotage the house.Now, part of that point system is that for every $100 they earn for me in a week, I give them an extra point. It's good motivation. They even have the chance to earn their 'freedom', if they can store up a million points and fulfill three challenges for me. (Never happens, slaves are so desperate for any kind of creature comforts they can never control their spending).Point is, giving slaves something tangible to measure themselves against each other is a very powerful tool of control.
