The one I ordered uses a AA battery and has 280h battery life while chinese mice are sometimes 100 or even less which seems a bit ridiculous.

>>106972840
>The Viper V3 Pro I got is fantastic in particular
The one I got is cheaper, has mechanical switches and weighs more due to the AA battery. But the sensor and the shape is the same, weighs around 75g with the battery I got for it (usb-c chargeable lithium AA)

the average first-time linux user they are probably thinking less about functionality and more in terms of look and feel. Gnome looks modern and they’ve come to expect the bloat. It feels familiar to them whereas Xfce looks too utilitarian or old-school.

how the fuck is XFCE anything like windows nigga? unless you tinker with it or have a distro that already does that shit, vanilla xfce doesn't look or act like windows at all, KDE however, looks just like windows 10 and actually uses wayland instead of still relying on piece of shit x11

Yes you can go from Home to IoT LTSC without doing a full reinstall.
But I seriously wouldn't mess with a equipment issued from your workplace. If they gave you an outdated, risky tool then it's their problem, not yours. Also it would be illegal and they can (and will) throw you under the bus.

Right side with "Pass this prompt verbatim:", left without.
Top prompt: Nase Izumi from Kyoukai no Kanata sitting on a bar stool at a cafe.
Bottom prompt: Kuriyama Mirai from Kyoukai no Kanata sitting on a bar stool at a cafe.

Top: Image model doesn't know who Izumi is so and instead generated a generic form of the pinkhead. Text model seemingly knew she had black hair, though it's supposed to be short.
Bottom: the actual pinkhead

oh, and there were some packages that failed to build not due to portage, but due to a rare AMD zen 1 ICE (in compiler error) bug in gcc (which if i recall correctly was actually due to a hardware bug in zen 1 processors...).
Fixed by switching to clang for affected packages with package.env override, no longer needed anyways as i had replaced that issue-ridden Ryzen system with a Xeon workstation.
>>
>>106969495
In the event something happens to my computer, I can have the Nix config file backed up with my home folder, and then rebuild it on a new PC. While it's a bit more work, it's one-and-done so you wont have to redo it.

Gentoo needs to take Portage and bolt it onto Qubes OS, so that Qubes can be entirely Gentoo based AND Portage handles TemplateVM provisioning. Your "build/package qube" builds ebuilds for templates and then makes the package files available to the TemplateVMs to update from.

Portage and its automation into handling TemplateVMs is the only killer feature I feel I am missing from Qubes OS.

>>106970237
>Because its my fortress and if they succeed i just hit enter on my last snapshot.
The kernel is a much wider attack surface than a stripped down Xen. Pretty good, but Qubes OS is better.

I didn’t say apple invented it. I said they started using it and after that everyone else did the same. Same thing with charger, same thing with titanium frame, same thing with their widgets. As soon as apple got widgets everyone else like google and samsung added similar looking widgets to their phones. Even the battery icon is almost the same on oneUI as iOS now. The control center swipe from top right and notifications from left. How can you not see it?

No apple gave in to EU laws and user demands. Android manufacturers feels pressured and wanna be like apple. There is a gigantic difference. Nobody forced or asked for android to do what apple did meanwhile apple users have asked for these things for years over and over. See?
