>>106966484Took it out it's an Alps keyboard, it's more quiet after I took it out but the sound isn't nice. Someone is selling legit UK NMB keyboards here(if they can ship them from the other side of the country) for cheap so I'll try that.UK should be same as Nordic layouts for touch typing. JIS has smaller shift and more thumb keys but larger right shift which is loud and no extra key beside it which I use for non latin vocals. Instead there's an extra key next to the one key sized backspace, which is harder to reach.Still don't know where to find a legit palmrest preferably with fingerprint reader and trackpad intact. x230 fpr is sligtly too small for the palmrest and needs taping, since there isn't a place to screw and cutting.
>T480 doesn't detect NVMe SSD>SSD boots fine in another computer>SSD from other computer boots fine in laptopWhat gives? >resetted BIOS>resetted CMOS>formatted drive, does not appear under live USB
Guys.I made it.I bought a T430s.Now, I have an issue. The keyboard is flappy in the lower corners, as if it isn't seated properly. As a result, the Fn and arrow keys are literally a mil or less in the air. Should I take it apart and reseat it? I mean, either way I'm going to change it, since it's got the French layout of all things.
>>106974439Some kind of electrical or thermal insulation, maybe?
>>106976236Yes and you will want to replace the touchpad with the t440s touchpad while you're at it. I have the same thinkpad and after doing this my life was greatly improved. I also broke my original keyboard and got an aftermarket one that works but doesn't fit quite properly so it looks a little off but works fine.

yt-dlp is completely dead for me, I even updated to latest master and still no videos are workinganyone else?
Thinking about buying a macbook for the screen. What can't I run on there that I could on Windows? I have a few servers that I run specifically tachiyomi or jellyfin that I'd like to continue using as well as some .exe files for some emulators and old video games.
>opened laptops back for the first time to clean out the dirt >Put it back together and at first windows refused to log in>Restarted and now windows loaded after like 3 minutes and it looks it was reset to factory mode and logged out of everything though the files are intactWhat the fuck just happenedIs this some anti theft system? I'm so fucking pissed
What do you even get out of a macbook?A friend offered me a secondhand Mac pro and I have to admit it is tempting. However, I don't really get why Mac seems to be popular with the creative types/frontend programmers, specially since I'd just run Debian on it.Is there anything a Mac could do better than my lenovo t460 with OnlyOffice?

Any good headphones yet.
I currently have a ATH-M50X, still working after many years but I'm tired of his signature, too much boomy bass sometimes, and treble are not to my liking. Is getting a MDR-M1 worth it ? Is it a upgrade or a sidegrade ? Or just a waste of money
