Not him but you've never seen those pics of two girls where one is on her back and the other is on her stomach? They both sandwich each other and press their pussies together, then the guy either picks a pussy or slides against both clits. Anon has good taste.

This is what you all voted for.
You didn't reject normalfags. You voted to use phones, and you let in the other smartphone fags because well, if you didn't, that insult was directed at you and that's not cool, they're a person like you.
You didn't deperson them enough. You didn't shun 'em enough and now? Now we see what happens. Gen X'ers fucking destroyed the world with their complacence, and millenials who were late to the train looked for approval from their pathetic peers.

You get out, what you put in. Give an inch. Don't be surprised when you get a mile of dick.

Top bar is i3blocks, which uses the output of shell commands, can be styled with css, and has limited features for making interactive objects.

Bottom bar is i3status, which grabs system information and formats the output, using format strings, similar to something like the date command.

Ly provides a login screen as you boot into the computer. I do not have a screenshot of my ly setup, and I overwrote it with the .pacnew version of my config file in a panic trying to troubleshoot my problem. It is a tty program that provides a tui login screen instead of something graphical like lightdm.

You’ve clearly never dealt with anything enterprise or industrial. You’re gonna be SSHing into a server that you can’t assume has anything more than XTerm support for output. For a lot of industrial stuff, you’ll be interacting over a serial terminal (whether it be over an actual serial port or over USB). Serial TTY will probably never die, it’s too versatile and simple.

This is the most annoying part of man-files (at least on Linux), many don’t provide any examples of usage, which is annoying when they have weird specific formatting for certain arguments.

Has anyone else noticed over the decades that as computer technology increases, the quality of computer programing decreases???

I think there are many reasons for this. One is it's you can hire cheaper programmers to write inefficient code and make up the difference with computer performance. Then this NEW software will have higher requirements, which drive hardware sales. This trend has gone on for decades, until it's reaching it's peak with LLMs. LLMs are not new or elegant or sophisticated. It's old 90's technology that's being super charged with modern hardware.

The delicious irony that ITT demonstrates so well is they've reached diminishing returns to such a degree that the trend may now reverse. With less memory available we may be forced to go back to better programing. Alas tho, everything has been re-geared and retooled for AI fueled vibe coding. With out a change in course I see this tail spinning into a death spiral very quickly.

When the dust settles tho, I wonder which ideology will rein supreme. Hardware focused computers, or software focused computers? Which will win out in the end I wonder.

Don't waste your time with a VM. Guest GPU isn't real GPU.
>>
>>107553452
Oh yeah no, that step wouldn't be to test performance or anything, more to fuck around with various utilities from the comfort of a disposable container in a still-functional environment. If I get bored with it I can kick the can down the road without having to fuck up my secondary drive, and if it gets me even more interested then I can go in knowing what I want to install for various purposes based on hands-on experience rather than just reading about them. If I'm really feeling scrappy maybe even get configs ready for some of them and push them up to my old dotfiles repo.
>>
the 7zip packages on the latest fedora are confusing, there is 7zip then there is 7zip-reduced and 7zip-standalone packages, p7zip seems to just install standalone one, so what's the difference?

Just "7zip" is the one you should get now, as it's pretty much just the Windows version built with Linux compat.

like no USB circuitry at all?

the issue im having is i want a nice keyboard for my sgi indy but the indy will not use a usb to ps/2 adapter for some reason, no clue why, i dont know a lot about how it works but i presume it has to do with the keyboard being usb at its core
it works perfectly fine with old ps/2 keyboards, any of them ive tried work flawlessly
any usb keyboard with an adapter refuses to work, tried a dozen keyboards and a bunch of adapters

I've gone through the same thing. Working hard only ever got me more work, and only when I just gave up and started doing minimal (really well well below minimal) did I start getting high praise and significant raises. This has lasted across multiple jobs. Now I work like 3 hours a week and my boss bends over backwards to make sure I'm happy and tells me I'm like the most important member of the team (which like might be true since I seem to be the only one who actually understands tech, but still).
