Yeah, I'd tried the css in that but it had no effect either. Pic is how I made my top menu bar black and the menu text dodger blue.

I've also tried css in this file to change the file chooser/picker scheme and it didn't do shit either. Whatever sources I found for classes is apparently either outdated or there's some other variable that the Debian version uses.

>I fucking hate that Clojure is so popular and that so many motivated and capable programmers have gravitated towards it instead of my dearly loved Common Lisp, but on the other it brought Lisp into the spotlight once again amidst a sea of Python/Javascript shit. The tooling alone has me reconsider my position and learn it.
Would you please say which tooling in particular? I haven't seen any kind of tooling in Clojure that have made me think "wow, we need this in CL"
>>
>>107815534
>Clojure's idiomatic development techniques are more pleasant to me than Common Lisp's. a basic example is `apply`. in Common Lisp, you must provide a concrete list of arguments. Clojure will accept any sequence (sorted map keys, a set, anything that can be a sequence, which is any collection).
Just import the SERIES library in lisp, bro...

The only change I made to my application strategy was to simply ignore anyone with an Indian name about 2-3 months ago, follow-up percentages went way up as a result. It's racist because I decided to act on my recognition of patterns, there are certainly nice Indian people, but very few seem to want to talk to me.

Well Mr. Timmy, if Indians are so stupid and incompetent how come we are the highest earning demographic in the West no matter what country we go to? And don’t just say nepotism, other groups came to the US before us and had an advantage, Indians only started coming to the US in serious numbers in the 2000s

most events in life exist in a probabilistic distribution, a gorgeous mother is more likely to have gorgeous daughters than an ugly mother
tall parents can have short children, and short parents can have tall kids, but it's much more likely for kids to be of similar height to their parents, and sometimes a few inches here and there can do a lot for the ego

>is always at depth 0, it's the last thing in the chat history.
is there a macro for user input? do i need to put it in a separate prompt? assuming that the image is reliable, how do you split Chat History being the second thing on the preset, and seinding Your Message later on?
>You can control all the stuff in the preset by clicking on the pencil icon to edit.
so the "position in chat" has something to do with it, but you can't edit chat history to be sent as system or user
>>
>>107817975
Example dialogue doesn't see much use anymore except by newer botmakies who don't know much better. It was decent once for keeping some models in character, but it also tends to create an implicit assumption that these example conversations had actually "happened previously" in your current chat, creating a phantom history and being a waste of tokens as a result.

Cry me a river.
Storage is cheap even in today's market. If you're complaining about having to spend an extra ~$6 in total on storage for all the Flatpak runtimes and libraries you'll ever need then you're the poorest of the poorfags and completely irrelevant.

>>107812200
>it's not like android/iOS where the app has to explicitly ask for permissions as they're needed
This is currently the only major real issue of Flatpak. The fact that things will randomly not work (like drag and drop) and the user never gets notified about why it doesn't work is absolutely retarded.
Flatpak needs to work with desktop environments to start implementing these fucking permission prompts. Without that the only user friendly option is to go into Flatseal and just globally enable all permissions for all apps just so you don't risk randomly getting fucked by a disallowed permission. Which defeats the purpose of a permission system and reduces Flatpak to just another package manager.
Also the fact that you need to restart an application for permission changes to apply.

You're the only one making this distinction. The objection was to the claim that Aviation is heavily audited and this is trivially disprovable by the fact that the MCAS by Boeing was given the green light in its buggy garbage state. Sure it didn't have memory safety issues (not something anyone claimed); more like logic bugs that killed everyone on board. I guess you can argue that auditing is better now, but I wouldn't bet on it.

You can hang shelves anywhere you want man. They're just holding speakers, they don't have to be on studs. Just buy 4 shelf brackets and some fasteners at the hardware store and mount 2 planks at a height so the speakers sit about head level.

>>107817700
>at a height so the speakers sit about head level.
which is again, not possible unless I move the computer.

>>107817455
>you mean, a bigger desk or something? can't do that, room is just too small.

It would be easier to fit a bigger desk than fit speakers that sound good in that space between your monitor and your PC that you can barely fit a fleshlight in. You've left space for nothing, that part is a self created problem

I would turn your PC to the side and move it to the edge of the desk, then add a pair of small shelves to the left and right of your monitor to keep the speakers from taking more desk real estate, keeping them low as you can. If you need the shelves higher you can turn the speakers on their side as long as they are towed in and pointed at you

>>107817779

Bit of a long retarded question but I'll post anyway:

I've been learning a lot of stuff thanks to Gemini but I wanted to ask a real human, are there any decent, good resources that go over computing on all layers (from nothing to software)?

I'm serious about learning but these chatbots don't do anything but crap out whatever you mention it and they don't really go out of their way to name everything (even after I explicitly tell it to), I'm very peculiar and I don't need much more than a rough "global" diagram (or map, mental model) to see where concepts, abstractions and everything else lies in place, I didn't even know about an ABI until someone from here told me about it and I fear I'm missing a TON of knowledge, many of the books I skimmed trough were vague, very non-descriptive and impractical, I'm not saying they don't help but definitely don't paint the picture in how the layers come together to form something useable, I'm aware of a lot of things but I'd love something peculiar and "monolithic" like that, I could always dedicate myself to specializing in something, I just need a very solid foundation.
