Some US states and FVEY countries passed some minor laws and eventually some of these anglosphere countries had success with age verification a couple years ago, and those are coming into effect now.Since there is very little pushback against these laws even in similar systems, everyone now knows how much political capital they have to spend to pass one, which is why they are finally succeeding.
