You don't, unless you want to UPGROOD.
>It also occupies a lot more space then nuclear
True, but you can't put a NPP on a roof either.
>>
>>107817197
solar panels have been cheap enough for it to be practically irrelevant to the calculation for a while. You could hand them out for free and it wouldn't change which form of energy was cheaper.
>>
>>107817197
its the backup storage that drives up the cost and the fact that you need to pay others so they deliver you cheap solar/wind energy during down phase. Epically the latter forces you into a real time system that drives up cost for every consumer. Also building backup storage for half your grid is very costly so in essence they design the grid to drive a wave of highs which further complicates the things. If you just look at the cost of solar panels and divide it by energy consumed then yeah sure its cheap. All these problems don't exist for nuclear/gas/coal because the grid is build for it from the start.
There is a reason why gas is so popular with solar/wind and why they shill hydrogen. Hydrogen is a meme anyway thats never coming.

>have 4 yoe in tech
>got laid off last year
>haven't been able to find a new job, currently working some part time wagie shit to get by
>don't want to work at startups anymore, I fucking hate them so much
>want to work for a midsize / fagman tier company (I've been practicing my stack a lot so I can meet the competency requirements)
I applied to a few fagman positions last year and got 2 interviews but bombed the OAs (they asked me leetcode hards), should I say on my resume that I've been "freelancing" for the last year to increase my chances of getting interviews? I imagine it would help with midsize companies but with shit like google or facebook I'm sure they already have my past resume on file and would call out my bullshit or blacklist me for "lying"

You can hang shelves anywhere you want man. They're just holding speakers, they don't have to be on studs. Just buy 4 shelf brackets and some fasteners at the hardware store and mount 2 planks at a height so the speakers sit about head level.

Can a Laptop kill a charger?

I got the Ugreen 45W charger for my laptop. After about a week, and some time put in my bag, the thing dies.
Amazon replaces after some faff.
2 days, replacement is dead with exact same fault. It just starts going this intermittent charging thing where it's on and then off. It's not the cable or the devices.

Any ideas what it actually is then? Driving me mad

Most expensive thing I've bought so far was the Typface monospace, and if the typeplus stabs end up working out I might finally have that board "done" after much fussing. Although I might need to re-seat a couple of switches because the keycaps aren't sitting quite right, and the numpad 0 stabs are a little out of alignment causing it to feel sluggish. But the mx browns are properly broken-in, lubed and filmed, with springs that feel just right and don't ping, and the plate is spray-painted black so the silver doesn't show between my keycaps, and the force break pads have eliminated all case ping (which might not have existed actually, at first I misdiagnosed spring ping as case ping because I'm a noob)...

So now other than Typeplus being ever so slightly problematic and the springs having the tiniest bit of crunch and one stab binding a little and a few keys sitting slightly crooked and the keykobo spacebar sounding just a tiny bit thin and the force break maybe needing to be removed but maybe not it's basically done...

It's not done...
>>
>>107816808
You nitpick. Just ride the scratchy ticks. It's what separates a pro from a scrub in the upper tier of this hobby. That's right, stock unlubed MX Browns with crunchy springs and ticking stabs is a sign of veterancy. A real outlaw can handle it without missing a beat.
