The only one I never saw much talent or "it" factor from was Xtention. The other 2 had "aura" as the kids say it. Juice had the most skill but he and peep both suffered from glorifying heavy drug use which eventually killed both as it should.

Loud + fast is, in fact, what makes a good drummer.
>>
the only people that knows what makes a good drummer are good drummers and I'm not a drummer so when people say a drummer is good you just gotta take their word for it because drumming is impossible
>>
why were was the whiplash teacher making the mc drum loud/fast then?

they base their opinion off drummers being like "damn this is really hard to play"

Amethyst was one of the songs that got me feeling that my birth identity wasn't the correct one, and it helped me feel more comfortable about a transfeminine persona and look. In fact, Amethyst was one of the names I debated between when picking a trans name. Anyone else?

Nigga I don't care. You're online complaining about Sabrina Carpenter. Your life isn't going swimmingly.

now that John Maus has gone on a full publicity tour prostrating himself on the altar for his naughty politics, surely the tolerant masses all humbly accept his apology, right?

>Man, it's a greatest hits of backtracking and bullshit
>LOL, fuck John Maus ‘til the heat death of the universe.
>Why do my actions have consequence!?!
>It'd actually be pretty easy to say "I made a mistake being there, my bad." But instead he has to put everything through a "yeah the insurrection was bad but people calling me names are just as bad!" lense.
>'I ruined my own career but it's every one else's fault for not understanding me.'

True. And all of them (except for Chuck Berry) also ripped off and/or covered the Beatles themselves. It was mutual.

Bona-fide kino pop music. Is there anything similarly accessible while being culturally eclectic and interesting sonically? I find the big Kate inspired artists Bjork and Grimes to be trite and grating, less genuinely talented.

some doom metal thingy I recorded a while back
have no idea what I should do with it yet

>>128863480
reminds me of tangerine dream, good stuff
but play around with it a bit more, add some dissonance and strange sounds
the genre has been done to death in recent years because of all the 80s nostalgia

>>128863731
same here, lovely sounds, but I feel that you could make it a bit more interesting
maybe choose a different synth sound instead of just lowering the volume imo

i figured out how to upload my demos to vocaroo instead of laptopmicmaxxing. wow! these are both real rough and not mixed at all but you should be able to actually hear them. thank you for the feedback on the last one.

https://voca.ro/1eiOhMRn23Sa Convenient
i'll probably end up moving convenient up a key or two to make the chorus hit harder and my voice carry better live but i'm not sure.
>>
>>128930651
i really like this! the clean vocals sometimes get kinda wavery on the pitch but the instrumental is great. the organ part mixes well and the guitar solo line is cheesy but i think that's fun.

>>128925805
i like the concept, and i don't hate the static sound to it, but it feels like the notes need to ring longer for the sound to work. it doesn't get to be a wash of static noise because of how choppy and short the notes are. might be a guitar technique thing? the vocals are definitely rough but i like rough vocals so i don't think that's a problem if it's intentional.

You shouldn't do that bro
