This post jogged my memory about a fighting game that also had a card aspect.

Can't remenber its name though.

I feel like this could help with another system I have , the main idea was that it is a 3v3 , 2 players are normal , but the other 1 is in a kind of beatemup.

So like I had this mechanic were you can change which joystick to use but also you can't make any motion imputs , just normal movement , all the action imputs in joystick A get transformed into imputs for the AI beatemup.

This is a way to both help with movement as well as just making it so new players can "cheat " motion imputs by storing them.

But maybe transforming it into cards might not be a bad idea , were the 2nd joystick is were the cards turn up.

Quick update on my trainee. She's doing pretty well, already managed to track her target back to it's hideout. All that she has to do now is come up with a way to kill it. In fantasy people find it easier to get if you keep things anthropomorphic for the most part. But in scifi they actually appreciate when you have alien races that aren't human shaped, even if they're still familiarly animal shaped.

I had an alien I originally had set up to use in a space campaign that I was disappointed ended up being canceled too early for them to appear. They were more or less sphinx shaped aliens. Semi-quadrupedal with some cat-like features but uncanny flat human faces. I wanted something a bit uncanny and ethereal feeling for a supposedly ancient race core to the campaign's main plot. But for scheduling issues that game only ever had a session zero.

Do things that even furries would get caught off guard by. That's my thinking.
