>>97226588>This however also includes the background of your character, so if you've studied in the Underworld you have access to your "Subject" and your "Background" for deciding your Introduce Fact and such. If you lived in Nexus, and had a subject of underworld, you could use lore for both of these things. Charms can change this and enhance it.Close, but not quite, pg 238 clarifies that the background IS the subject, so you only get one thing, and it has to be a subject you're knowable in>A player character’s Lore background—the subject their Lore rating primarily reflectsThough it also clarifies this can be expanded by Lore specialties, but you're limited to subject and specialties for your Lore rollsBoth 2e and 1e have a more general stance on Lore, with the difficulty being dependent on the obscurity of the fact, regardless of the character making the roll's background or specialties (3e's is based on plot importance)>>97226568>>97226631Depends on what you're using it for, if it's mystical knowledge in general, yeah it should probably be Occult instead of Lore, if it's history/geography/customs/etc of the Underworld or just general academics like Math and what not, then yeah, it should probably be LoreMechanics-wise, the biggest thing is that you can swap Lore out for Occult (or another Ability) for Occult related subjects (or subjects related to that other Ability), though this is only implied in 3e, 1e and 2e explicitly say you can>>97226652Yeah, it's not exactly a sharp line, I'd be surprised if a character had more than 3 dots in one and 0 in the other for that reason
>Exalted has devolved to the point you can't even be sure what your character knows with their Lore ratingAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
>>97226681Oh, it's pretty clear if you read the rules, your character knows whatever is covered by his subject of study. It just requires you to fully read the rules because RAW works a bit differently than how it's described at the start of the ability description
>>97226681Exalted's abilities were never well thought out, they suffer from aberrant legacy and the 1e's 5 numerology
>>97226673It also takes into your specialties and various lore charms, along with the Background. You're right that you can only use lore on the things knowable to you though I'm just saying a lot of that comes to ST fiat and isn't really all that strict. "Nexus" and "Underworld" are pretty damn workable.Note that primarily line along with this line at the end of it which suggests that lore can be used on things unrelated to it, it's just going to be harder.>Note again that it is the character’s Lore background and specialty that makes such rolls possible; characters with inaccurate knowledge or different backgrounds experience much greater difficulties, if they are allowed to roll at all.In 2e it was pretty much the same, difficulty adjusted by the ST on the fly depending on how relevant the lore roll is for you. If you were studying in the underworld, it'd be a harder lore roll for you (if allowed at all) to know what's going on in Nexus. Charms change thing. You could use it for the history of Nexus, but in the same way if you studied in the underworld in 3e you could use that to know ancient things about Nexus from having talked to ghosts who lived there.Again all of this doesn't matter though because we haven't even touched all the lore charms that just let you magically know shit.

Moloch's Fun Park Edition>What is Trench Crusade? An alternate weird history 28mm/32mm tabletop skirmish game still in a pre-release playtesting phase but with the full release slated for this year. Based on the art and lore of Mike Franchina, whose illustrations you may have seen floating around on /tg/ for a several years now, and designed by Tuomas Pirinen, one of the original creators of Mordheim. >>97226179If there’s enough interest and no legal risk I might store the weapon swap STLs on an online drive so people here can obtain and print them. I have also set up the new Antioch shock trooper arms with a trench polearm too, as the basic STLs don’t have that as an option.

>>97226419I understand your point, but I don't think it's for me. Afaik, mtg cards don't come in many rarities (at least it was like this when I played it), and this makes high-rarity cards (mythic/secret cards) expensive while leaving the player without any alternatives.I can agree with a model like this if the ultra/secret slot is just a rarity upgrade like in the OCG.And just to be clear, my opinion comes from me not caring about always losing money when buying boxes. Afaik, it's the case for OCG
>>97226351I can't speak for it but I can give you this advice. You can look up "triple [name] structure deck deck list" on google and find lists if you just want to build from the contents in box. If you want to go beyond that look at lists on YGOPRODECK and find one that works. If you want to reduce the cost you can then post the deck list here and someone will likely help point out what expensive staples can be swapped for cheaper staples to bring the price down. They've gotten some support since that SD released so expect to want to buy some singles. I do know they released DW Corridor after which is an insane card for the archetype, $4 each.
>>97226351>Dark World>Genesysthe good cards are all pointed and the Danger engine is also pointed. The only good Dark World name that was untouched was Broww and then people started playing it as a generic draw engine and they pointed it too.Your best bet is playing in Standard and go for the Silva hand loop
They semi limited ash blossom in both OCG and OCG-AE, MD and TCG are likely next, it's over.Hope you all enjoy seeing the opponent shotgun 1-2 mulcharmies on your turn, and losing because you either passed turn on s:p (which still gave them 2-4 draws) or a empty board.
>>97226639I expected they would start phasing out Ash as soon as they printed the Dominus handtraps but the surprising thing is they also semi'd impulse on the same list. So now I have no idea what they're thinking.
Previous thread: >>97111514GURPS is a modular, adaptable system, capable of running a wide range of characters, settings, and play styles, with a level of detail varying from lightweight to completely autistic.Optional rules allow you to emulate different genres with a single system, or even switch genres within a single game.A nearly complete archive of GURPS books can be found by using the image. Never post direct links to the archive anywhere in plain text.If you're wondering where to start:- The Basic Set covers everything, including a lot of optional rules you probably won't use.- A genre guide can be found in the archive, under Unofficial/GURPSgen. Which are your favorites?
>>97225947Examples:A fuel depot full of oil drums. The drums generally don't explode when shot, and provide substantial cover. But once they have been shot, they start to leak, making the ground slippery and causing every spark to risk igniting the spilled fuel.An old mine. Metal carts and tunnel walls offer cover, but heavy fire or explosives can cause cave-ins, everything is dark, and some areas have dangerous build-ups of methane.A fight from moving vehicles. Other vehicles can provide cover, or be unacceptable risks. All kinds of obstacles and hazards can suddenly appear.A shootout in the lower decks of a ship. Once bullets start flying, punctures in the hull are inevitable and the entire area will be flooded with water (probably not realistic, but it's Action!)
