>>97353130>if a big drill like that is even slightly off center the part is ruined. For future readers, fret not. Apply sprue goo, and try again in a week. Yes it takes a week to fully cure. That said, I am also very curious if you could actually just use a pin while the goo is slightly cured to just push the goo out of the way like a play-doh press. Ill have to try that next time.
>>97353345it takes a week to cure? i just primed over some sanded goo after a day :/
>>97353330I agree if we're talking about like those discord posters from a thread or two ago that literally can't paint inside the lines but I like to imagine that that isn't hugely endemic to the mini painting community. I like to think we're generally better than that, at least this thread is, maybe not the rest of the hobby. But I think that would still fall under what I mean by 'pretty quick to learn'. Not all of them, but a lot of GW models now are so detailed (admech CMS, any AOS stuff) that as long as you can paint in the lines you can get a pretty decent result, but that is like step 1 of learning to paint minis and I don't think people really ignore it that often. Though I can fall back on arguing that if there are people who ignore simply painting inside the lines then I don't consider them full human people in the way that I am.
>>97353392NTA, spue goo can take a long time to dry but only if it's thick, small patch jobs can dry pretty quickly and full hardness after like a day. It's true that bigger gap fills can take a while to dry and stop being squishy though.
No, I'm not avoiding doing the bases. Shut up.

>>97352852>DnD>Generic system What the fuck are you smoking? It's really bad at being not-DnD because it was built for a specific purpose (which it's arguably not great at) and much of it is built on assumptions about the setting you're playing. To put in the same class of games like GURPS and Mutants & Masterminds is beyond ridiculous
>>97353267NTA but world map doesn't always literally mean a map of the entire world. If you're setting a game in one country then mapping out all the important settlements and geographical features (like mountains, forests, and lakes that could be adventure locations) is making a world map. It's good to at least be able to give the players a reference of what's nearby/what exists around them unless you're sticking entirely to a city or a small island or something similarly confined.
>>97352852DnD is in no way "generic". I think you mean setting agnostic. GURPS and Cypher are generic because they can be any genre. DnD is only fantasy, arguably only superhero high-magic fantasy. You'd need to take a blowtorch to it to make it sword and sorcery, let alone sci fi or contemporary
>>97353372Anon, "generic" as a term refers to being nonspecific WITHIN A GENRE. Hence the shared root.
>>97353236>>97353270Thanks, I'll probably start doing that in the meantime too, thanks a lot. I appreciate it, o7>>97353261Just how a general view of making a character and if I'm on the right track kinda or whatever....I dunno... Aieee. It's not like I made in an "anime" style on purpose more so I just can't draw for fucking shit. I feel more comfortable in the character itself though just from some slight feedback here. I don't know much about the series either, so I'm just asking stuff...that's why I apologized in my original post for it being a retarded post. I think with the tone of the campaign the guy is setting up though I don't imagine it'll be very lighthearted so there's probably less chances for the character to be irritating. And it's not like the others are into rping.

>>97353107she looks (girl)friend-shaped.
>>973519271. The First "Official" Mention (1140s)The earliest recorded use of the word comes from a monk and historian named Orderic Vitalis around 1140. He wrote about a demon named Gobelinus that haunted the area of Évreux in Normandy, France. At this time, a "goblin" wasn't a race of small green guys; it was more like a specific, named ghost or spirit.+12. The Folkloric Roots (12th – 14th Century)The term transitioned from Medieval Latin into Old French as gobelin and finally into English around the 1330s.Original Vibe: They were originally "household spirits"—mischievous, invisible beings that lived in your walls, bumped furniture at night, and were generally more like poltergeists than soldiers. The Cousins: They are closely related to the Germanic Kobold and the Greek Kobalos (meaning "rogue" or "knave").3. The Literary "Re-Invention" (1872)For centuries, goblins were just vague "fairy-folk." The person who really "invented" the modern idea of goblins as a distinct, subterranean society was the Scottish author George MacDonald in his book The Princess and the Goblin (1872).Comment too long. >>97351973I honestly doubt it is anything interesting to learn about, not even thinking about it in a wargaming context! Pre-gunpowder warfare is just lines walking into each other. Early gunpowder warfare is just lines walking close to each other, before occasionally walking into each other. The tactics and interesting decision making is at the very highest level. But we are miniature wargamers here, and any good representation of the interesting scales of pre-industrial war tend to abstract a ton. You have four 28mm figures standing on a base representing a Regiment, or something totally ridiculous like that. We may as well be playing hex and chit, except WW2 also makes for more interesting scenarios than hex and chit. The aesthetics are absolutely lovely and they make for good grand strategy games, but don't try to convince me into some retarded conflict that can only be represented by the silliest combination of scale and abstraction. The same also goes for any conflict after WW2.>Oh boy I love playing poorly armed and trained guerillas who occasionally pop out of hidey holes before being obliterated by a space age civilization.Riveting.

Its not historical but it is a fun casual game for balanced forces just duking it out compared to some other historicals which are more historical sim than game.>>97335345Team yankee used to be my go to game but like >>97340160 said the game is basically just a NATO jerk off simulator while PACT players are basically just hordes of mooks for NATO to have fun blowing up It gives NATO fucking prototype vehicles from the late 90s despite being set in 1985 While PACT is stuck choosing what flavor of period accurate shit tank to spam.Generally compared to NATO, PACT units have dogshit stats and are hit on 3 instead of 4 but they make up for this by having 2-4x the numbers and usually better morale but even so NATO units are just so cost effective that even their spam lists of shit NATO units are better than PACTs so PACT can't even really do hordes as good as NATO.Point "balancing" came out for team yankee and it nerfed some PACT spam lists like mass Hinds and gave meager point drops to T-72s and T-80s dropping them by 1 measly point each. Then the balancing massively cut points for NATOs prototype shit by like 30% with the M1A1 going from like 18 points to 12 FYI the M1A1s front armor cannot be penetrated by anything in PACTS entire arsenal outside of aircraft missiles and has the highest armor penetration gun of any tank in game.

>>97352663>>97352882Playing from hand or trash is objectively better than hand only, and if the thing's going to die anyway it's perfect fodder for a level 6's Overclock or even this card's own Scapegoat. It's fine.
>>97352933kaguyamon doesn't have overclock and nyanbootmon can only warp on chaperomon not karakuru.so unless you are running cendril on top, which already makes its own tokens, nah, its not very useful.yes playing from trash is nice, yes it makes for great overclock fodder, but deleting itself and no warp makes it a lot worse.this is solely so you can self proc kaguya's effect despite what your opponent has on their board. it isn't worthless, but there are 2 chaperos that are at least as good as it and for the most part better.
>>97352958There's going to be another Kaguyamon in this set most likely. You also get additional value from the On Play or On Deletion effects of the Digimon you play, namely searcher Shoemon, On Deletion make a token Shoemon, or Hanimon letting you get back something from trash to hand. And I also don't think it's THAT dangerous to split between Chaperomon and Karakurumon if you're running Nyaabootmon, admittedly I don't play the deck but it seems like Nyaaboot is still good if you evo it from a level 6.
>>97352987>Chaperomon and Karakurumon if you're running Nyaabootmonyeah but you are ABSOLUTELY running 4 of the free evo karakurumonso you have at most 4 slots leftESPECIALLY if the new kaguya is good you are running 4 of the free evo oneso you have 4 slots leftis this karakurumon better than chaperos?you already have a chapero that plays down if you desperately need the overclock and it allows for the warpif you are only running 2 chapero then you are not going to expect to warp and aren't going to be running many nyabootmon, but he is your main damage push. generally you get kaguya out, kaguya plays the 4, evo it to a 5 warp to nyaboot and that is enough board to end the game.the "problem" with nyaboot is you don't want to evo it over kaguya, because then you lose the the clap back when protecting and you lose your blocker/allianceso unless you are intending to to make two kaguya and then go into nyaboot (which is more expensive and requires more cards) it just isn't going to happen.
>>97352146I continue to find it odd that the only level 4 yellow puppets with On Play effects are promo ShoeShoemon and... Doggymon. It's not like any of them are natively Blockers or have particularly strong On Deletion effects either
why are many creators so afraid of making a setting with napoleonic wars era technology?
Would be cool
>>97328517Why do all those Algerians in France love him so much then?
the main problem that I see is that people are push the fantasy part to much to the sidelines and just try to make it too historical while not putting the same constrains on other types of fantasy just as an example, the irl medieval period was very different from what we watched in the Lord of the Rings, DnD is even more different in almost all aspects what is needed is first to get a setting that is to the period just like DnD/LotR is to the irl medieval period
