I think that the flag is not AI, it's just deformed in photoshop or even a 3d program in a very weird way then photobashed. Maybe in a first draft it took to much real estate, and the artist decided, or the art director told him, to make it smaller. The background, mostly the vehicles, is just sloppy. With AI it would be far worse.

blue is the card draw colour, effects aren't exclusive to colours but you pay a heavy "tax" to get those effects (white discarding cards on draw is supposed to be a downside)

Various things might let you deal with a specific martial maneuver, like dealing with a feint is probably more of a mental exercise than a physical one, similarly dodging is obviously more of dexterous activity than a physical one.
