How useful would you say an AC/20 Engineering vehicle is compared to a Hetzer? It doesn't have the ammo or armor, but it does have speed. It could probably cause some havoc in cities before it gets blown up.

>>96647982Oh! I wasn't expecting a full write up. But I'm gonna copy and paste that into my notes for potential future use.>The Twili live in a realm that’s basically made out of Light and Darkness energy, and can naturally manipulate them even before Soul Compass gets to the point where it enables you to do that. This means all Twili can reshape the Twilight Realm around them unless something resists their manipulations, and with practice can do the same in the Light World. Society wise, they’d be post scarcity, since they can just create whatever they need. This would encourage creative pursuits. Also their power would mean the Twili tend to be very confident, and with good reason.Hmm that'd explain a few things about midna potentially. Maybe shape her personality a bit going forward when I write her. I think maybe venti and the gang would visit them in beginning of the third stage at this rate. Naturally Venti would try to learn a lot of there ways and culture the same he has for the hylians and gerudo.>This talent for subtlety would extend to their magic, unless you greatly surpass them the only way you’ll know a Sheikah is in the room is if they decide to show themselves. All that said, the Sheikah would take things easy around their fellow Hylians, so they wouldn’t feel the need to hide themselves or conceal their feelings around you. As for their society, it’d be heavily magical even by Hyrule’s standards.Makes sense Sheikah are based on ninjas a bit in the mainline games. Hell whenever they visit its probably going to be eye opening for both divine delusions users. Maybe even Minerva to if she swings by. A land like something out of a waking dream perhaps.
>>96648046>Oh! I wasn't expecting a full write up.I’ve had these ideas floating around in my head, so I decided to write them out.>Hmm that'd explain a few things about midna potentially. Naturally Venti would try to learn a lot of there ways and culture the same he has for the hylians and gerudo. You’d be at the level where they’d treat you with respect then.>Makes sense Sheikah are based on ninjas a bit in the mainline games.Yeah, the Sheikah would probably be the go to people when it comes to monitoring things outside of Hyrule.>A land like something out of a waking dream perhaps.Sounds interesting. And shes still confident in herself.>You’d be at the level where they’d treat you with respect then.Yeah, He'd be a little below where Minerva is when they first meet I think. A technique behind perhaps. Pick up a twili form there then to a few decades in. It'd be good bonding with midna especially after a century in the steppe out of her element admittedly. Though I do have a idea for a scene with her and venti working on a technique to convert Elemental essence into Mana and vice versa >Yeah, the Sheikah would probably be the go to people when it comes to monitoring things outside of Hyrule. No doubt. All it took was stealing valuable artifacts from several clans and then helping the rumors grow.”>...Thinking about it a bit but... areHyrule/hylian cultivators essentially the xianxia equivalent of Manamoo?Only in the sense that you alter the nature of the world around you.>Hell I could imagine potentially if they go in the right part of a twilight realm. They could spend a century and have it just be a year or decade outside of it.I can see it. Maybe time works differently as you go deeper into the Twilight Realm.
>>96648251>Sounds like an interesting project.Yeah! It'd be super useful to. Imaginet the utility of being able to turn mana easily produced into elemental essence. I think it'd help a lot for both of them. And they are both still legitimate wizards after all.>Only in the sense that you alter the nature of the world around you.Thats what I was thinking about aye. Not other aspects of it.>I can see it. Maybe time works differently as you go deeper into the Twilight Realm.Maybe. The further you go in and the less influential the Light world becomes upon it...It's going to be a hell of a perspective venti develops eventually after visiting all the cultures and people in hyrule probably. But I like it that way.

Irresponsible retard edition>What is Shadow of the Demon Lord?:Shadow of the Demon Lord is a horror-fantasy tabletop adventure game that presents a world standing on the brink of annihilation. In this game, you and your friends play characters charged with fighting back against the spreading evil, whether that involves tracking down potent relics, exploring ancient faerie ruins, journeying into Hell to bargain with the Devil, or battling demons and the cultists who summon them. The system is setting agnostic and has a wide variety of possible details for your own world.>What is PunkApocalyptic: the RPG?:Another game using the Demon Lord Engine. Hey anon, what would be a good master path for an orc->Priest of the old gods-> Gothi? Depending on how things go my campaign might become orc heavy. Normally I'd say Graven but unfortunately this requires orcs to not be retarded
So the Demon Lord Engine feels like SDL without exactly the thing that drew people to it, scatological memes aside. Discourse I've seen for Weird Wizard already seem to be disappointed at how "generic" the game feels like, but if I'm understanding it correctly it's basically a way to have a standard set of rules for potentially different settings like Stars Without Number?

Why are there many types of elves, but dwarves are always just dwarves?
>>96647595elves being varied is baked into their DNA from tolkein splitting up the high elves and the wood elves, to even norse mythology having the light elves and dark elves dwarves however, are interesting in their niche of being overall consistent throughout fiction with variations being rare. i mean its kind of neat that they're almost always just short angry dudes who like to dig. being consistent fits much more in their conservative nature trying to vary them always feels a little forced and doesn't really push the identity anywhere.even the picture is less of different dwarf cultures, more different dwarf Age of Sigmar tries to push the dwarf identity but instead of 3 developed dwarf cultures among order, they just feel a little under developed. except chaos dwarfs, people seem to like them
>>96647638>more different dwarfdifferent dwarf roles
Elves rapidly adapt to their environments, a requirement for the species considering the lengthy intervals between subsequent generations thanks to their extremely long life spans and low birth rates. If an elf lives long enough on an island, they will become an Island Elf. Place them in a desert, and they will eventually become a Desert Elf. Leave one in a tavern too long, and you might come back to a Tavern Elf.
>>96647595There's different dwarf subspecies too. For some reason dwarves just don't get shit on as much for it, probably because outside of a few dwarf autists no one really gives a fuck.
>>96647595There are other kinds of dorfs. But "elf" has long been used as a term for all sorts of magical folk.

>>96646646Do you roll for each day of the journey as a whole? One good and one bad thing doesn’t sound too bad for what is supposed to be a hazardous trip.
I have some experience playing and running Fabula Ultima.I think it is an okay game, but I find characters too simple (short of dozens of sessions into the game and its slow progression), and I am not a fan of how much the system relies on identifying and hammering at arbitrary damage type weaknesses.
>>96646664Yeah, you roll for each travel day and highest level of danger for the entire journey is used for the die. So in my above example, it would be 15 rolls of a d10.

Dominion Rules is a free D12 system. It is best suited for medieval/early modern games. I really like it's combat system where NPCs and players call their actions in reverse initiative order, and then execute them in the initiative order so that fast characters get to react to what slower are going to do. It also has decent magic and priesthood systems. It has some peculiar design choices like making having a grip on weapon against disarming and holding breath into separate skills (I suppose author's games feature a lot of diving and poison gas traps) but they can be ignored. https://dominionrules.org/
Copyright neutral Marvel Super Heroes. There is also Advanced FASERIP which adds and tweaks stuff, both are free.https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/177913/faseripThe same author has also made free retroclone of old superhero system Golden Heroes, but only distributes it in his personal homepage.https://gurbintrollgames.wordpress.com/codename-spandex/
