Post-Jihad, does the Lyran Commonwealth still go with the reporting name "Galahad" for the Glass Spider?

I ask because didn't Defiance Industries reintroduce the original Galahad (the Glass Spider being based on the Galahad is why it was named after the generally extinct mech) through the GLH-3D variant? If that were the case, would the Lyrans still use "Galahad" when discussing the Clan-built derivative of the Galahad or go with "Glass Spider"?

Literally who cares, there's a bazillion third party 3d printed sculpts out there, some that are almost carbon copies of old minis, some that are more like aos and some that are completely original and their own style. If you own a printer you can even print literal scans of the oldest and rarest GW minis.
Free yourself from this garbage company.

The whole point of TOW is to refresh the interest of the public and capture a new audience for a rank and flank game. That's it.

I'm still waiting on Warlord to make a fantasy supplement got Hail Caesar.
Not because of the rules themselves, I just want the wargames factory amazons to have a giant starter army of 150+ plastic figures.
Actually, you'd think more people other than TTCombat and Wargames Atlantic would make generic fantasy starter armies but here we are.

Semen < Mutate

Topics don't drop off. The posts are not even archived. And most importantly, I was asleep and so simply responding to posts since I last checked the thread.

>>96605732
>This is just a brain dead response. "[CLASS A] gets a bag of tricks & can also do [CLASS B]'s job very easily"

>"Uh yeah but have you considered [CLASS B] could beg for assistance from [CLASS A]?"
As D&D is a system designed for party interdependency, having gaps that you need another member for is actually worthwhile. The problem isn't that Wizards can do everything without a Fighter, because it's still drastically more slot-economical to deliver a Fighter instead of pure spell answers, it's that the Fighter has almost no ability to contribute outside this and so very easily gets stuck in a rut of repetitive and reactive behavior in anything else.

>A fighter gets winged boots, while the wizard gets flying spells, the fighter gets a bag of tricks while the wizard get summoning spells, the difference being that wizard spells are more temporary but interchangeable while magic items are more concrete. How do we prevent a wizard from getting both? Make spells as rare & equivalently expensive as magic items. Do that & everything evens out.
No, it just means that the Wizard now has an easy way to get permanent versions of their divergent buffs in exchange for the now-redundant ability to cast it hard, and cripples crafters who'd diagetically supply desired items for more niche strategies to the Fighter as you've inflated the few-time input cost. If you want to make spell access a constraint, you can turn down the freebies, make the Spellcraft check an actual problem, then shift spells out of the core Divine lists into topical Domains confining Clerics and Druids so that taking over the Fighter's role requires they refuse an entire category of other problem-solving.
>>
Continued for running out of space
>>96605732
>Spells are far too ubiquitous & powerfully niche. They have way too wide a range of effects & abilities.
Not a problem if you constrain access to prevent cherry-picking an arsenal of silver bullets from them as is the actual problem. Then you just prune the all-solving hammers and spells you can't fit into the access restrictions.

>Spells need to be cleaned up & replaced by powerful, meaningful spells that work more with your wizard level than the "spell level" if anything, spell levels need to mostly go away.
The slot economy separating degrees of effect even within one area of problem-solving is pretty fundamental and CL scaling already exists. You'd be better served starting with Psionics and compacting topics into Augmentation of the minimum effect set than overhauling a Vancian baseline.

>>96605791
>It's literally the "Make every class the same with slightly different fluff" that made early 4e complete garbage.
Not quite, there's still fungibility differences of item slots versus spell slots, not that the anon seems to have the slightest clue what that does to the attempted balancing.
>>
>>96605791
Clerics and Druids do not become commoners when they're out of spells. Gish builds also have way the fuck more endurance than Fighters do.
>>
>>96606504
yeah but they do become commoners if they say the gamer word or touch metal
>>
>>96606504
>Clerics and Druids do not become commoners when they're out of spells.
Stock clerics may as well be because pure-[Divine] is incredibly shallow, though you're right on Druids because Wild Shape is hours/level for most of the "baseline" numbers and (Su) so countering it is incredibly niche, blatant, and usually catches a lot of the Fighter's numbers.

>Gish builds also have way the fuck more endurance than Fighters do.
It depends how efficient the Gish's buff routine is versus the Fighter's recovery choices. Combat Vigor in particular healing 4/round for 13 rounds at an investment of three feats from 9th level onwards can grind through a LOT of shit.

>Eh…. Not really? Like I get why, but that’s item duplication in the sense that Shirou Emiya has as many swords as he wants. They catch is they don’t actually exist. If you want to build up a supply of the item, you want one of the other ones.
The important thing is that it's a way to generate an unlimited supply of usable consumables, and is therefore something I can use to make enough golden pearls to turn an arbitrary amount of people into Least Conduits

The Force is the great balancer. Whenever evil reigns, good rises to stop it. Whenever good prospers, evil festers. The council and the republic had the right idea in squashing all emotion, good and bad, to retain balance through stagnancy. The greatest good is through apathy so that the Force will never stick its filthy little fingers into the plot and make a movie about your era.

I could use some advice on a few things here, i'm running a D6 campaign, those old west end game guys. Anyways, when i create maps what's a good size? I have trouble getting my players to move beyond 5 ft every fight, EVERY fight, and it doesn't help that even common rifles have 100 on medium range. I'm also trying to do a clone wars starfall, changing up some things, but what's a good replacement for the walker in this era? Because the clone walker is ridiculous and stupid, and not boss worthy.

>My biggest issue conceptually with humanity system is that any player who wants to just play full murderhobo deathborg has to start the game with as high an EMP stat as possible meaning they are implicitly angels behind all the chrome.
EMP is not a measurement of how nice they are, it's a measure of how charismatic they are. High EMP lets you lie and deceive others.
Humanity is not a measurement of morality but rather a measurement of how cyberware makes you lose touch with regular human experience.
For example REF boosting Kerenzikov alters your perception of time, making it so that the world around you appears to move slower. This makes it have a relatively large humanity cost because your experience becomes that much different from that of a regular human.
As you get more cyberware you become less human in the sense that it becomes increasingly difficult to relate to the life and experiences of regular humans, which is also what makes it harder to talk to them.
>>
>>96604618
It makes sense from a balance standpoint to make players invest into their humanity to tank dehumanizing equipment. You can't punish them with low humanity if they're already at low humanity.

I do agree that having low humanity should inoculate you against some humanity loss-- if you already care very little about other people, splatting them with exploding shells shouldn't bother you much more than putting out rat poison.

On the other hand for some characters having the slide go a long way down makes a lot of sense. My character in my current game is a bit of a cinnamon roll behind it all, but between cutting her teeth on the old ultra violence and all the cyberware we're pretty close to disassociative murder town by now.

You have to remember that being a true cyberpsycho makes you unpredictable, impossible to cooperate with and broadly unsuitable as a protagonist of any kind. Murderhobos exist in NC but you're probably getting hired to shoot them.
>>
>>96604618
>Make Humanity equivalent to CoC Sanity, decoupled from Empathy and becomes its own stat
>When you install new cyberware GM rolls under Humanity
>On success nothing happens
>On failure the cyberware has a quirk that gives GM a reason to fuck with you later
>Sometimes roll Humanity as a check to see if the PCs are too autistic to resolve a situation with interpersonal skills
>Players clap whenever they get Humanity restored and make sad noises when they lose it
Never going back.
>>
>>96605338
>player starts with 10 humanity
>they install every single cyberware in every splatbook
>just fine
>>
>>96604618
I'd mentioned to someone a negative humanity mechanic for those wanting to indulge in more chrome without having to deal with the humanity tax. I think they said they would cook it up, but I haven't seen anything for a few threads.

The idea being you are always in negative humanity and going into the positive is what makes you "lose control". i.e., being an unhinged cyberspscyho is your natural state. Being "normal" is what would make you breakdown.

You have to resolve all of your pending end of your turn effects before the attack happens.
In the Galaxy example you have 2 pending EoYT effects
>1 of your Digimon may attack
>1 of your Digimon may unsuspend
You choose the order to use these in.

If it Digivolves during your end of your turn attack, and that Digimon has an End of Your Turn (like Omnimon X), that effect wasn't present when your End of Your Turn started, so it doesn't activate.

Nyabootmon's -DP is part of the same effect that plays the ShoeShoemon, so it has to resolve completely before ShoeShoemon's On Play.

This is also why Apollomon's full effect is "2 of your Digimon may DNA to GraceNovamon. Then 1 of your Digimon may attack." If it weren't the one effect, GraceNovamon evolving during the end of your turn could only attack if it also had Blitz.

Are they really necessary for Omega? I'm asking because I wouldn't know what to take out to include these. Besides, the deck already works pretty well.

I don't know. Introducing the chance to brick on a black EX3 rookie from one line and this champion of the other seems like a bad idea.

Niche uses really. Raid Greymon could be used to hit floodgates but BT17 already did that while keeping the rookie's name and already nobody runs that.
Jamming Garurumon might be useful if they ever lose their bullshit option that replays any rookies they launch at security.

I think Date is the best Omni support this set.

I will never understand how digica players think about consistency and bricking. It's irrational in a way I didn't think was possible. You can literally force feed the most brain dead top-tier deck in existence to them, complete with rolling waves of support any other deck would drool over, and they'll go "EW NO WHAT IF PUTTING THIS INCREDIBLE CARD IN MY DECK MADE ME BRICK WITH THESE THREE SHITTY BLACK ROOKIES I PLAY???"

My autistic player made a tierlist of how likely he is to get betrayed by NPCs and other PCs.
Is this my sign to ease up on the betrayals? This level of paranoia can't be healthy for either him or the game.

Yeah how do you collect and organize all the character art that went into this diagram, OP. I recognize a lot but not all and kinda want to use some of the others.

Not OP but for one, first ride or die dude with the wolf is Fitz and Nighteyes from the Farseer trilogy.
