Yeah and it's annoying. It's like the brown Eldar he added (since when are those a thing??) and the "Baronex" bullshit, then having a they/them Eldar. If they're so evolved just let them not give a single shit and call everyone a Prince or Baron in the same way that all Banshees wear the same armour.

No, you're just blind.
Most countries have laws that require people who do any sort of reviews to disclose if they were paid for said reviews, including if they got the product for free. In fact, I'm pretty sure this is a standard part of YT's ToS.

But then again, maybe you're no blind and he does in fact not mention getting paid for reviews, in which case he's probably in violation of YT's ToS and maybe some actual laws...

What's happening to him sucks, but I think he still gets flak because he's such a repulsive guy. He's militantly political and wants leftist messaging in games, and has defended drag queens and porn books in libraries, calling those who don't Nazis.

So what are you working on?

>Why should I homebrew?
/tg/ products are fairly unique in that it's actually pretty simple to make them these days, with a plethora of products to assist in making and playtesting your game. Making your own games helps understand why games are made the way they are, as well as being fun to do.

>What you should post
Ideas for games, games you're currently making, updates to your own games in broad strokes, and any homebrewing for existing products that don't get much attention. Discussion about the above is welcome. Post good, be good, and look over others products, they care if someone looks more than anything.

My friends are first and foremost fantasy /awg/ players. I'm quite happy they gave Warcry a chance despite avoid GW's games like the plague, for a good reason but that's obvious to anyone stuck in the GW's hell.
The local GW crowd is good-hearted but absolutely mindless, they only follow the shiny new releases and the mere thought of playing an unsupported game/edition gives them a panic attack.

So with the Nemesis Claw's prescience token system when it says "Skip" that operative's activation does that mean you can activate them later or are you totally passing their turn for that turning point?
>>
>>97821339
My condolences. Maybe try to get them to play Mordheim if they haven't already? It's surprisingly quite mechanically similar to KT18 except with an actually good campaign system.

Is the monster thing a one and done occurrence, or they are going to do more?
I need great knarloc models...
Also it's a good way to slow down the release of teams.
>>
>>97826310
It would help if you read the full ploy, really.
"you can skip
your activations (in other words, you can delay that friendly
MURDERWING operative’s activation until your opponent has
only one ready operative"
they really explain it in the () that you can activate him later on. But it basically gets rid of one of you counteract actions.

>>97826752
>hate gw or only play the new and shiny thing
>play mordheim
does not add up, really.

>>97827461
Sounds more like a one and done thing for me, but that they have to slow down the release of teams means they are out of proper ideas for teams it seems so sounds like the game is really in a bind here.

I always hear about the stir this caused, and recently about how bad or redeemable it is. I'm not certain about it myself because I dabbled with 3e and then got into 5e, never paid much attention to the scene during that entire era. What does /tg/ think of the system?

>>97826882
The reality is no one who enjoys 4e will call it D&D. It's a constant complaint that tying it in with the D&D brand did more damage to it than aided it. It has its strengths, it has its weaknesses. One can either take it as it or leave it.

>>97826889
Such as?
>>
>>97824276
They're not. They're expanded on in the Rules Compendium, a few Dragon Magazine articles, and the Dark Sun material.
>>
>>97826997
nta The Rules Compendium came out in late 2010. Dark Sun campaign book came out in mid to late 2010, if that's even the book it's in. 4e came out in mid 2008. I found half a column in the 4e DMG, that was it. There were a couple f skills or something in the PHB that were good for wilderness.

Having to wait more than two years for a book to be published, or regularly read a magazine in the hopes of stumbling across an article or two, or having to buy a setting book that also came out more than 2 years later, for something that was a core D&D feature is a dumb way of doing things.

There's very little obvious wilderness rules material in the Dark Sun campaign book. There are two pages about travel and survival. Is there more?

The word wilderness is mentioned 45 times in the guide book, disorganized as fuck, and it asks you to think about outdoor travel is as an extended skill challenge using a few paragraph example on page 79. Fuck off you know nothing retard. 3e has a huge chapter on wilderness. 5e has a chapter and multiple supplements to boot. This image is practically the extent of 4e considerations for it. You got retards like you and the anon above wondering how wilderness is even important, you're fucked.
>>
>>97827465
3e may have had a huge chapter on the wilderness but that doesn't make it good. Nothing in the 3e DMG is good.

I'm not seeing any anti lifelink cards when I'm not playing lifelink. Matchup engine can be just evil. Even if we drop tin hats and assume everyone is human, there is certainly something very fishy with it.

I had a perfect anti-mice deck when Monstrous Rage and Heartfire were the rage. Everyone was playing mono red at that time. I played a lot of mono red against my other decks. After several wins, I practically didn't match up against mono red against my counter deck. I got a vast majority of mono black and Overlords that I was bad against. It's as if they actively push certain decks with their matchup engine.

Listen here, kid, when you grow up, you will understand that the very fact of receiving money isn't always considered a payment. Of course, this is in a normal countries, I have long understood that Muricans are brainwashed to the level of North Korea when it comes to being slaves to corporations. And it is very funny when they call everyone communists when they themselves behave like communists, the only difference is the facade, but their thought processes are the same as those of brainwashed commie, believe me, I know how the inhabitants of the former USSR behave.

>>97825380
Can be done, but contradicts the "as cheap as possible" approach, if you suddenly need two armies and hopefully some good looking terrain to attract others to play with you.

What's wrong with enuncia? Like, have you even read the Ravenor scene where Tuxedo-wearing pysker Toros Revoke summersaults around the paired golden rhyming swords of a golden daemon Incunabula while blasting it with primordial un-words? Or are you just a secondary who judges Black Library authors by their work's wiki write-ups?

Because, chucklefuck, I don't think 'alakazam' and 'open sesame' and 'expecto patronum' fit the idea that psykers are all one mental slip away from becoming demonic onaholes or enslaver gates. >What is Trench Crusade?
An alternate weird history 28mm/32mm tabletop skirmish game. Based on the art and lore of Mike Franchina, whose illustrations you may have seen floating around on /tg/ for a several years now, and designed by Tuomas Pirinen, one of the original creators of Mordheim. It's grimdark, it's visceral, and it's very Blanchitsu.

>What's the QRD on the background?
The Knights Templar turned heretic and opened the Gates of Hell when they took Jerusalem during the First Crusade. Over 800 years later the war is still ongoing as technology has developed to a pseudo diesel-punk WW1 standard and a third of Humanity has sided with the Infernal Princes.

>How do I get started?
All the files are free online:

They used to be split between the website and the discord, but no more. For posterity's sake, the old mega will still be kept active even if it's unlikely to need updating: https://mega.nz/folder/70QH0BBa#Eg-blxYQKkY_C02wErnFTQ

Anon as a Heretic Legions player, you have to be so fucking vile that the literal gates of Hell find no goodness in you. If you're found to be less than a total uncomprimising irredeemable piece of subhuman shit, your soul burns before the hellgate for eternity.
There is no gray with that.
Hell are in fact the bad guys even if they have the barest argument that God's creation being imperfect means that he created suffering explicitly.
>>

Witch IS pathfinder's equivalent to warlock, it doesn't have eldritch blast or anything but both are arcane spellcasters who get their magic from a pact with a powerful magic entity. Although I'll give you pathfinder's patrons lean towards the more distant and mysterious rather than the kind that has a chance to breath down your neck.

It also makes sense that witch and warlock would get mixed up in localization considering warlock is often the term for a male witch and witch hunting people thought all magic came from pacts with the devil anyways.

Honestly Oracle? Is probably the closest to a Warlock. You aren't making a pact but you are getting fucked around with.

This one's good but frankly the most busted shit in that book are the benefits of the Order of the Chain.

At 8th level they get a 2 action activity thats basically slam down but for grapple. Except if you use a flail or a spiked chain, you upgrade successes to crits on the grapple.

And then at 12th for another feat they just get to ignore crit fails on all Grapple checks. Oh and also once you have someone grabbed, if they fail to Escape they actually crit fail instead (so they cant try again until their next turn) and if they crit succeed (which would let them move away for free) it gets downgraded to a pass.

Paizo really arent beating the allegations of not playtesting this shit. And it stands out even more because the other hellknight options are meh, except the one that lets you be a peeping tom.

It's a reprint, but also a buff.

Since at least Occult Adventures in 1e, Paizo's been piecemealing the Warlock kit and ideas to various classes. Especially once D&D5e hit, they saw the frankly overloaded class, and just decided to not do it for 2e.
>Witch takes the lore of the mysterious patron that gives free powers for nothing and cantrip buffs
>Kineticist takes the one-action cantrip blasts and at-will powers
>Psychic takes the limited spell slot design for focus on buffing cantrips
>Magus takes Pact of the Blade/Hexblade shenanigans and very limited spell slots (Bounded Spellcasting would be far more palatable a design if it was 6 slots over 4).
>Summoner got Pact of the Chain and very limited spell slots

In some ways, a good portion of 2e's lifespan was spent chasing the Warlockfags without wanting to commit to a full Warlock kit, to only mixed success. People just value the Warlock's nonsense too much to compromise on. Compare to how Artificer got split between Alchemist, Inventor, and now Runesmith and barely anyone bats an eye.
