>>97836428>It's also impossible to balance battlefields when you have muh realismIt's not supposed to be fucking balanced. That's what makes tactics matter. Look at any WFB campaign, more than half involve asymmetrical setups with one player at a deployment disadvantage, which forces a different style of play to meet the situation. If you play every game on the same shitty plastic mat with 6 unpainted grey L-shaped ruins, you're winning based on whose army has the better rules, not which player is the better tactician. You are a fucking retard loser soulless slop consumer who wants to play the same endless WAACfag tourneyshit over and over instead of having a challenging and interesting narrative game.

>>97840099>ItoFell flat for the second time now. I am unsure why, it seems like a fun little game that should invite all manner of discussions. When we tried with our own questions, it got a little more interesting but still nothing I feel like revisiting. Which is annoying, there surely is something there but I'm missing the moments of suprise. I can't help but feel like the game must be much more interesting with less competent players. Or at least players with more different attitudes. Very few moments where we had fundamental disagreements of "what the fuck why would that be at 83?" and the like, which, essentially is the soul of the game.>So cloverThe opposite experience. Always fun, always hilarious. For some reason, you effortlessly deduce that winter + lemon must obviously mean "Orange" yet collectively fail to see the most obvious connections>Hot StreakThe king of diminishing returns imo. The best game of it seems to be the first one you ever play, which is likely why it's so popular and seems acclaimed. We all know how little actual gameplay there is, but there's only so much passively watching a chaos engine unfold you can enjoy before going ehhhh that's enough. And that point comes sooner and sooner. I might just be seeing it under a wrong light because a host of reviewers and podcasters have hyped it up so much, but I think I'll only get it out for people very new to the hobby in the future. Burnt out on that one frightningly fast.
>>97835515bump
Is Pueblo a good game or does the novelty wear off too fast? It has a decent reputation but also a LOT of BGG reviews saying it's too one note.

>>97837051I remember when episodes were able to have more than 4minutes of plot, divinez clearly cant
>>97837051od 1 was ass but at least i can give it props for being something different and od 2 was decent having had to carry over the mess of od1. Once they got to willdress and beyond its felt derivative. It couldn't be helped as they fired some of the overdress staff and reoriented the anime to being a traditional TCG anime again. Sure some things were new for Vanguard but never really felt innovative as other TCG anime had done them. And Bushi just keeps rehashing a lot of the same themes from past series like "Vanguard is actually fun" and exploring it through character's trauma except for the fact we already have a lot of characters from past series with similar arcs so most of these new characters don't feel fresh. And all of the foreshadowing for the serious plot feels half baked like they just kept adding stuff as they went on. Like a lot of divinez s2 and PC. Or they wasted time on fluff like deluxe when they know they have clearly limited episode counts. I think they've run out of ideas and this potential year and a half off bc of the remaster should be good to get some new ideas in the room.
Wait, is there another season after this? Feels like it.
>>97837051Og Vanguard is a story about a femboy who tries to be good at card game to make his senpai notice him and for some reason he falls into card game drugs because his senpai doesn't have the communication skills to talk properly with him.

>>97838501Podcasts. Tons of people listen to stuff like the one shot podcast and they seem pretty willing to signal boost smaller creators. It also helps if you do your own media thing (podcast, YouTube, etc.).
Faggots on here like to act as if knowing how to advertise and build up a community is somehow "gaming the system". It's why they screech and cry about Shadowdark, despite it having two incredibly successful Kickstarters along with a healthy community. It helps that they keep a tight grip on not letting the retards in said community get out of hand with political bullshit, too.And another anon was right, this thread stinks of street-shitters.
Repeat after me: MAKE. YOUR. POTIONS. IN. PILL. FORME!Pills are ancient, they predate Egypt! We made pills better in medieval Europe by putting them inside purified nontoxic silver to boost power, we don't do that anymore because it's too expensive.Whole reason why we take pills and don't drink medicine is because any medicine is just 0.1% active ingredients, putting it inside a pill is more efficient, making it a drink is wasteful.Realistically in DND, if potions were real, they'd kill adventurers, all over the Adventures Guild you'd see newspapers like:>SSS-rank barbarian killed in the Dungeon because drinking healpot takes too long!>LVL 99 thief killed in the Dungeon because he choked on manapot... it went down the wrong hole!>The Hero killed in the Dungeon because he tripped down stairs and broke all pots!Potions? Not even once! Pills are the right way.

>>97839543If it wasn't the result of an attempt to salvage a licenced product that fell through, then it was a clear pastiche; Warcraft one was thematically darker than it's successors, and came out around the time Warhammer was hitting it's stride internationally; besides that a lot of the visual parallels are obvious; the pauldroncore and simian musclebound orcs being two key elements of that look.
