>>97827167I haven't looked at that one. You might be able to use stars without numbers. That one has a lot of options
>>97827164I think that name rings a bell, I saw it when I looked up CSC in the archive. It's a really great piece of work, I've been having a marvelous time with it at my Gongfarmers chapter. The next adventure I want to do is a multiple-choice mission where the PCs are offered three jobs from their fixer; >I've got a guy who wants a guy dead. I've got another guy who wants someone...extracted against their will. Nothing bad will happen to him, in case you care. And I also have a straightforward bodyguard/escort gig. Take your pick, I have other runners who'll do the others.Turns out, it's all the same guy. A mob informant is trying to duck out of his deal. The District Attorney wants him to testify, the triads want him dead, he wants to go to Tahiti with his mistress. The PCs will be up against two other teams of runners who have opposing objectives.
Anyone here ever tried using the Veins of the Earth cave generation system? I like how it can make nonlinear and challenging passages, but I can see it becoming repetitive with the limited number of options.
>>97827632Not a fan of abstract maps, honestly. Particularly those that claim to create 3d maps but actually give you 2d planar graphs.

>>97826576Exactly, yeah you can't outright be a big dick mage but if you pick the right location, try to play tricks on the locals, and actually know what you're doing you can get away with some pretty advanced stuff that makes DnD magic look kind of like a joke. Like Necromancers in DnD are not very up there because of how limited magic is, but "necromancers" can easily pull off bone armies in MtA. The Village in particular from RE8 is probably one of the most schizoid settings in the series and it's pretty great to ape for a Mage game possibly, you have everything from a haunted romanian town getting pillaged occasionally by wolfish-men, haughty almost-vampire aristocrat cannibals, etc. The real creme de la creme is when you get to the end factory and you get to witnessed man-made horrors beyond your comprehension in some dude's very twisted psychopathic attempt at freedom in transhumanism AND his descent into maniacal aspirations of power

what do you guys do for character art/tokens when playing digitally, for call of cthulhu I have my party use real period photos, but npcs I just trawl the net for art. but I sort of like the idea of using real photos for NPCs in a WoD game
>>97826772>Shame. Are other planets hospitable and material, or is the entirety of space just the Umbra?Everything within the confines of the asteroid belt is real enough at this point, due to scientific progress, though all planets in the solar system have a Shard Realm, a spiritual reflection.Past the asteroid belt and the True Horizon, reality and the Umbra start to blend together as space becomes the Deep Umbra. Jupiter and every planet past it are the same thing as their Shard Realms.Almost all magic is coincidental in the Deep Umbra and reality is very malleable there, so it's home to insane Marauders and Nephandi, who are somehow immune to disembodiment. Maybe it's something to do with their paradigms. It's less hospitable to the more grounded paradigms of the Technocracy and the Traditions. They believe space is extremely dangerous and inhospitable, and so it is, at least for them. They also need to worry about the threat of disembodiment, so any Deep Umbra expeditions can't be longer than three months.>Her powers manifest like Simon the digger in Gurran Lagann where she can manifest upgrades and weapons to her robot out of existence.Mage the Ascension is very picky about conjuring stuff out of thin air. Creating matter or energy where there was none is typically a very costly process, that requires knowledge of what's being made.Conjuring a temporary flight module for your mecha that allows it to fly would likely require Matter 4 / Forces 3 / Prime 2, as well as a fantastic Intelligence + Crafts/Science roll so that your character doesn't brick the module during the conjuration. You'd be better off if the mech already has all of these modules, but most of them are offline and require your character's magic in order to function at all. For example, making the mech fly for a scene by activating the existing flight module would just be a Forces 3 / Matter 2 affair, with no need for a roll unless you want to enhance the effect.

>>97826382>It's a well-documented fact that Ip Man used to be a copThat doesn't mean he kung-fu'd his way through riots or that he trained cops to use wing chun to fight rioters. You're conflating basic training, which all cops do, with the movies where this guy was an untouchable badass.
>>97819486Killed by Jackie Chan
>>97826963Again, Ip Man wasn't the invincible superman of the exaggerated movies based on his life, nobody is capable to put down hordes of people with his Kung Fu irl. But the very fact he was a police officer during times of strife disproves the accusation that "he never regularly fought people", as the fact that he was selected to supervise police training, something a fake master could never achieve in pre-WWII China, disproves the accusation that he was just a moron spewing Bullshido, like many modern chinese lolcows. As for teaching cops Wing Chun, Ip Man did exactly that: several among them went on to be Wing Chun masters themselves, and take students of their own. Apparently, there were a few whose interest got beyond basic training. All of this is well documented: famously, Wing Chun associations very meticulously record master-student's lineages. While you can, technically, print a fake certificate and sell yourself as a true Sifu, trained by legendary masters, you would be immediately sued the moment actual practitioners learn of your existence should you decide to pull this trick with Wing Chun. Bullshido dealers either invent their style or claim to be the last successors of some style among the many that got purged by the commies.

>mimimi, humans don't have their own feature, mimimi, we have to invent somethingNecromancy right here. When was the last time you saw non-human necromancer, lich or vampire? That's right, they practically don't exist because other races are simply inferior when it comes to necromancy and those non-human undead are so pathetic that everyone forgets about their existence in 5 minutes . Except for that one orc, but even he understood that he was worthless and therefore got himself a human body to finally become a full-fledged lich. So yes, here is your feature humans - necromancy, you know that I am right, you can't run away from the truth forever.

It was Palpatine who actually pushed the first act against the TF via taxation of routes and at the same time pushed Gunray to power, setting up the Battle of Naboo and future separatist sentiment. I mean, all you need to do is, when you inject the dna into the egg, make sure it's an XX chromosome, rather than XY and boom, female clone. That being said, the psychological aspect would be a crapshoot. You may end up making a biological female with gender dysphoria due to a considerable chunk of its genes being male and if said genes end up developing the reasoning centers of the brain... Then again, this is all hypothetical at best, like the majority of psychology. In any case, i find it hilarious that, as per usual, the guy spouting off the slurs on 4chan to make him sound like a big man is the one who also decided bring science into the show about space magic wizards trying to stop an evil space magic wizard making a moon-sized planet blower-upper-gun, because THAT'S the straw that broke the camels back.
