>>728753732Generally speaking.1, 2, 4, and 5 are all considered "good" with relatively few detractors, with 1 or 4 generally being the reccomended starting points. If you played Phantom Brave, you can handle the slower pace and clunk of Disgaea 1 & 2, so consider starting there. Disgaea as a series can be hard to play backwards, because of how much qol gets added over time. You don't begrudge having to pass stronger enemy bills as much, if you've never seen the cheat shop, for example. Disgaea 3 and Disgaea Dimension 2 are a bit more controversial. I'd say they're still worth playing, but, they're also in port hell. 3 is only available on PS3 & Vita, DD2 is only on PS3.Six is awful, even if you love every single other entry. I reccomend it only if you are prone to bile fascination.7 is... okay. Not the worst, but, I still think worse than any of them besides 6. As an aside, I would also reccomend looking into Makai Kingdom. It's the game most like Phantom Brave that they've made.They also recently made a sequel to Phantom Brave. It's... okay. Flawed, I think worse than the original, but it does do some things better, I think.
