I think they should try more edgy and brutal shows, maybe have a little bit of blood in them like Powerpuff Girls had. Something that pushes the envolope and says "You guys can have your boring therapy session shows; our protagonist is about to beat the shit out of the bad guy over on our shows".I seriously think that would bring CN from the brink. They'd have to take criticism, of course, but I think people will see more success if they accept that criticism is a part of the job.
Are there any good comic books ongoing these days? I've been out of the loop for a decade. I enjoyed Waid's Daredevil, Fraction's Hawkeye and Snyder's Batman back in the day. I think all of these series ended with a whimper, but they had decent peaks. I've heard there's a Waid and Samnee Batman & Robin: Year One or something, that looks good.
