Dear /tg/ - Traditional Games,I hope this letter finds you well. It feels like ages since we last managed to roll dice together. As I mentioned before, the work situation has only intensified lately, turning into a relentless wave that seems determined to swallow up every waking moment. Consequently, the dragon’s share of my free time has been claimed by spreadsheets and deadlines, leaving our beloved tabletop realm sadly neglected.Funnily enough, the thought of our campaigns was abruptly brought to mind this afternoon. In the next cubicle over I overheard a loud, animated discussion from the cubicle next door. It was my coworker, completely engrossed in detailing his own custom-made, homebrewed tabletop RPG.He had such passion—describing the unique magic system, political machinations of his fictional dukedoms, and the obscure lore meticulously crafted for his players. Listening to the intricacies of his world, complete with its own pantheon of minor gods and unique currency, immediately transported me back to our own table. That made me deeply nostalgic for our sessions. I miss the collaborative chaos of Dungeons & Dragons, particularly the way you managed to weave seemingly random character decisions into the grand tapestry of the campaign story. I especially remember that time our entire party derailed the main questline because we got distracted looking for the perfect shade of purple dye for Tyler's character's armor. It's those ridiculous, unscripted moments that truly make the experience unforgettable.More than the game itself, I miss the creativity and friendship of our regular gatherings. The laughter, frantic searching through rulebooks, and collective groan when a crucial saving throw failed.I hope that once this demanding work period eases up, we can finally schedule a time to dust off our character sheets and perhaps even start a new adventure. Until then, hold onto your D20s!Anonymously yours,Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.

I usually try to take the most conservative approach to the creation of my sheets, and for the simple sake of not wanting to over-inflate things I try to employ the most minimally applicable stats as I can to justify stats.I say all of this to preclude the fact that by my analysis of Shiori's lore, I could not force it within any level of justifiable logic to make her anything other than a level 20 Wizard with the Immortality discovery. There's just way too many questions, and every instance she appears in she's shown to be in full control of the situation, and as the "boss" of Advent she by that logic has to be stronger than the entirety of the rest of her group. As always, if any of you wish to see the others I've done, you can find them here: https://x.com/DrumerThead/status/1972053922610356382

Hey, what the fuck is an Immaterium Surge Station, and if they exist, why the hell were the cadian pylons such a big deal? The crackolytes were given access to the Arbites armoury and we got some sweet products of the Lathes in the form of very comfy Arbites Carapace, with built in recoil gloves in the bodysuit, sealed helmets with rebreathers, IR and photovisors. The gucciest stuff for AP 6 all over.Except Callidia who decided to keep her Hospitaller Carapace and remain obviously Sororitas looking. She manages to fit her habit over the helmet.>Would it be tech heresy to get one of those Arbites Carapaces and restyle it in Adeptas Sororitas fashion? Asking for a friend. The frontier post doesn't have any bolters, so Callidia takes a really pretty Raffit Ringleader Arbites Handcannon. Galen gets a Vox Legi-pattern Arbites Combat Shotgun. The biggest fuckoff shotgun available.Despite being well stocked, its still all stub guns and some crowd control grenades available like blinders and hallucinogens. We'll make it work against a heretic army. The next day the guard lands and we are assigned a whole squad of 8 rejects from the Scintillian 33rd. The Damned 33rd. We don't even get a full 10 men squad, there's even a black demowoman in here! Can't wait for them to be completely splatered into giblets once the gm rolls a crit on them. >>96631625True. Industrialize is powerful, with caveat. It's arguably necessary if you want to conquer the earth by brute force afterward. Imagine the international response if some extradimensional army invaded from the north pole using medieval technology. I think the biggest advantage from Industrialize is modern agriculture allowing you to feed an order of magnitude more civilians. In theory, that would sharply boost land value and the essence income from it. In practice, by the time you've reached consistent and widespread modern tech you're likely well on your way to victory, but it's nice to have. Mixing that with Land Transformation could have a compounding effect.>>96631629Combining Insectoids+Merpeople for Crustaceans could be cool. Not strong compared to Giantkin or Demons, but cool.
