You're wrong.
Dual-wield has the inherent -1 to defense which no one else has, though it's the most expensive to raise it's also the one who profits the most of Gunslinger. You can have an AP/HP loadout, and with Akimbo shooting perk you're the most maneuverable character in the game.
SMGs with low bulk and rapid fire means you choose the fight better.
Rifles punch the hardest and have excellent Acc.
Shotguns punch the weakest but are the easiest to hit with, and can switch almost instantly to slugs to punch the hardest.
LMGs have the heaviest firepower but you need high ST and money to use them, also we live in a society bottom text.

SMGs are the weakest unless you have high dodge and Tumble everywhere (see Martial Arts). I think rifles with their 5d and RoF 15 or something can't beat a Desert Eagle 4d pi+ in each hand, the shooter adds Acc on every shot, and the target rolls -1 on each defense.

If it was at close range (10% of the first range given on the weapon stat) you should have applied the rule for multiplying the damage and opponent DR by 4 at the cost of removing the penalty, which would have done 1-2 damage on average through the vest due to the flexible armor rules, otherwise you should be using random hit location for each pellet. RAW doesn't say anything about hit location on rapid fire for aimed shots but iirc even Kromm uses random hit locations on rapid fire after the initial hit unless the shooter is really stacking bonuses.

There is no more "counterculture" because there is no more monoculture. All cultures got split into a million microcultures, and they stopped really transmitting their culture to the next generation. There isn't enough overlap to get a critical mass of interested passionate people to care about something other than whatever niche distraction.

I've spent the last year, studying, and designing a custom Arthurian set, originally intended to be based on Le Morte d'Arthur (like how P3k was based on Romance of the Three Kingdoms).

However, as I continued to study, and look into different (and some obscure sources) this turned into a much more wider net.

This set, which is no where near finished includes

>Pre-Vulgate Arthur traditions
>Vulgate/Post Vulgate/Lancelot cycles
>some English/Welsh fairy tales
>and even a bit of the Victorian Arthurian revival (especially for art).

I avoided the Italian and German romances entirely, and tried not to include weird outliners except when needed. Outside of art, nothing is sourced from the 20th century or onward. Also all art is public domain.

I'm mainly posting here for feedback. Some will be art recommendations, flavor text (especially sourced) will be always welcomed.

when you were referring to the purple/violet similarity, were you referring to them as energies (when they are upside down and all you see is the bottom stat symbol background), them in play (their border colors), or both?

I looked at the cards and noticed there is an error on my end, where the "violet" (magenta purple) stat symbol color is still purple or near purple. the border colors are more differentiatable though.

I was messing with the purple/violet colors up until right before printing, trying to coordinate their clear differentiation due to similarity in appearance.

I believe this also occurred on 1 or 2 of the sub types of the red cards border colors.

In any case, i think i'm going to remove the dedicated "story" (silver) type altogether, and convert it to a meta type (any card can be played as a story/narrative element into the narrative zone (keeping the narrative zone and mechanics), sort of like energies. this will also free up the silver color, which I can assign to psi, and that should solve all the color problems. silver also makes a kind of sense with psi.

this will also allow me to assign a proper violet to what is called "violet" now, but is more of a magenta purple.

it solves all the color issues and streamlines/simplifies gameplay all at once.

So, my jumper has decided that first things first he needs to nip any potential blight in the bud before they spring up. He's currently in the deep roads genociding the Darkspawn. Also, the picture more accurately shows how many eidolon slots he has since this is after 10 years in worm with shattered limiter although the orbs are just an abstraction for the viewer and not physical objects in the world.

Very few units have had stats set up to 10, the Jugg and Nap being those that I remember right now (Nap with Awareness and Discipline 10). While at 10, you automatically pass any test, yes, but not necessarily win every face-to-face roll.

I've checked the Taiping book and will upload it as well as the tokens, there's a few things I'll want to change or clarify in the rules, still making a list, but it'll 100% work in the meantime.

Alright, it'll be an econ unit, the carts will be random, its the best way to do it without turning the train into a more limited tank, and I want to avoid that. All the carts will have some transport capability, you might just not want to spawn your soldiers in the dining cart, but that's what you rolled this turn and you need the soldiers so... that kind of choice.

What I'm thinking is that the rails will be split off and set in the regular Structures section of the rulebook, so even if you don't have access to the Locomotive, you could lay tracks as part of an econ engine, and I'm thinking of putting the handcar >>97302625 as a merc special unit, since that shouldn't really be restricted, especially in a setting that takes place mostly in caves.
The rails would be something like "gain X silver per Track token connected and controlled", with the exception that the player who layed them controls them by default if they connect to his deployement zone(?). The Locomotive itself would grant Silver from exiting Carts from the maps, with bonuses set for exiting quickly and off non-deployment map edges.

It could easily be ported to the new Neo-Mughal book, if that's alright with the relevant parties. I never did care for it in Lemuria either, but it's a cool idea and made enough sense when we didn't have a dedicated India book. Though, maybe it isn't worth bothering.

One of the rules of the neo-mughal is that they can recruit 1/3 of their silver in lemurian units. In theory they shouldn't need to move it there.

You could justify its existence as a way to sort out the truly worthless. but Prophecies are not infallible, and I personally think its more interesting to see them as occasions for creative interpretation than just a really set Fate that tells you everything, so I definitely don't see a mother throwing her baby under the Jugg simply because the local Prophet told her that was its Fate. More like, the local Prophet tells you "Your Fate is to be crushed under the wheels!". Do you,
> A) say life sucks and throw yourself under the Jugg?
> B) start lifting and downing protein shakes, prove your worth by killing some random warrior, join the next warband, all the while hoping that the Prophet meant you'd eventually meet a warrior's end facing some great Chariot-King?
> C) Go back to your life, have kids, work your station, be a productive member of society, then when you start being a burden, throw yourself under the Jugg?
or
> D) call the Prophet fake news.
A) would be discouraged or pitied, B) glorified, C) completely acceptable, as long as you don't outright refuse your Fate, and D) would be doable, but very risky socially. Better hope the Prophet has already a few failed Prophecies under his belt before you pull that off.
But also, Cultivation is about your own worth, so while A) would be pitied, you wouldn't have Warriors or Nobles throwing a fit over what their subordinate classes do too much either.
