Can anyone recommend an extra thin super glue available in EU?

I need something almost water like in consistency for some really fine metal details to glue on plastic, I want to avoid any kind of gunk etc.

Tried the P3 Bloodstone and really like it. Colour is kind of off in the photo but its a rich clay colour without the overly orange tint of a lot of gw paints that i think id rather use for the drybrushing stage.

Just a shame P3 is kind of a bitch to get out of the states as this is probably going to use half the pot for two thing coats.

>Have you actually read all of this cynical schlock?
I have! And greatly enjoyed it.

>Give it an honest rating out of 10
The writing goes down hill after Broken Realms Kragnos, with Broken Realms Morathi being the absolute peak of AoS imo, with 3rd being quite "meh" in terms of lore and plot.
The Dawnbringers stuff in particular is fucking awful until book 6 which reaches the amazing heights of almost OK. However, the 4th edition stuff is actually amazing.
I'm loving the current lore direction, the plot developments and it's actually got me liking Skaven which has never happened before. I'm very invested and can't wait to see where the lore goes.

1st ed lore - 7/10 good fantasy but hardly breath-taking

2nd ed lore - 9/10 some of the best fantasy I've had the pleasure of reading and it was genuinely a blast to see Morathi ascend, the siege of the Eightpoints by the Bonereapers, the ending of the Soul Wars by Teclis and Alarielle and so on.

3rd - 5/10 just dull, with no interesting lore developments and boring characters being introduced.

Welcome to /wbg/, the official thread for the discussion of in-progress settings for traditional games.

Here is where you go to present and develop the details of your worlds such as lore, factions, magic and ecosystems. You can also post maps for your settings, as well as any relevant art (either created by you or used as inspiration for your work). Please remember that dialogue is what keeps the thread alive, so don't be afraid of giving someone feedback or post whatever relevant input you might have!

If that's the only thing holding you back, then you should definitely have skinnies. It does absolutely nothing to make them less relateable. Everyone wants to be taller and skinnier.

I wanted daemon negotiation for my magic system. Want a magic spell? Beg, threaten, pay, barter, whatever for it. Different daemons have different spells, different attitudes, different preferences. Some are more consistent than others. Some are more chaotic. Evil entities don't like it when you are brokering deals with good entities and vice versa. Sometimes they fucking lie to you and trick you, saying you don't need to pay and they will give you a magic spell but it's a different one than you asked for and you just get fucked because you didn't make a real deal and accepted a "gift" blindly. Sometimes the daemon gets annoyed at you for bothering them and tries to kill you on the spot. You can get an IOU for some act when you call them up at a later date, or have them do it right there to finish the deal, or bind them if you got the right setup so they have to follow you around and be your servant until the deal is satisfied, but once they are free maybe they aren't so appreciative.

What are some likely consequences of magical society under these conditions? What kinds of sects form? What differentiates the "great learned man of magic" from some bumblefuck hedge magician.

>consequences of magical society under these conditions?
>consequences
Logical consiquence is humans find ways to manipulate the contract system, taking advantage of the weakest willed entities and using them to exploit loopholes in the contracts of other demons. Eventually a autistic chain of minmaxed subjugation forms, high level mages not even appearing in the mortal realm anymore instead using a demonic middleman as a proxy to rules-laywer meteors out of the sky.

>How much (or how little) do you borrow ideas from real animals, plants, fungi, and speculative evolution? Are there any cool real world facts you have used to inspire parts of your world-building?
I incorporate real-world biology into my fantasy critters, and I incorporate magical folklore into my mundane animals.
Dragons have all sorts of exotic glands for a skilled sawbones to extract. Dogs and wolves are bigoted against each other over a theological dispute from the dawn of history. Griffons and hippogriffs are related and can produce sterile offspring, but those sorts of unions can also produce chimeras. Maggots spontaneously generate in foodstuffs/carcasses that are unobserved. Most diseases can be banished by an exorcist, and most curses can be cured by a pharmacist.

>What is /awg/?
A thread to talk about minis and games which fall between the cracks, or peoples' homebrew wargames.
The >>>/tg/hwg thread doesn't entertain fantasy (for good reason) and the other threads are locked to more specific games.
This thread isn't tied to a game, a publisher, or a genre, let's just talk about fun wargames. Any scale, any company, any miniatures.

>Examples of games that qualify.
A Song of Ice and Fire, Argatoria, Batman Miniature Game, Carnevale, Conquest: The Last Argument of Kings,
Deadzone, Dropfleet and Dropzone Commander, Freebooter's Fate, Frostgrave, Gaslands, Judge Dredd, HeroClix,
Kings of War, Maelstrom's Edge, Malifaux, Marvel Crisis Protocol, Masters of the Universe: Battleground, Moonstone,
Oathmark, OnePageRules, RelicBlade, Rumbleslam, Stargrave, Sludge, Urban War, Void, Warcaster, Warmachine, Xenotactics...
...and anything else that doesn't necessarily have a dedicated thread.

Kill it immediately. Our GM always gets pissed when we don't bite on his little "quirk chungus le random" time wasters. Then he tries to punish us by making everything difficult and claiming his random little scrimblo was the secret key to everything, which we enjoy because otherwise his games are too easy. We have a pact to always disrespect these kinds of bullshit events because it makes the game more fun for us.
>talk to him asshole
Tried. The first time he got mad and made the game challenging, we lavished him with praise. He immediately went back to having nobodies we were polite to leap in with buffs and bullshit. We ASKED HIM TO STOP AND HE SAID NO so we made our pact and keep him perpetually butthurt. Hopefully his heart doesn't give out before the campaign ends, he actually had a throbbing forehead vein when we just gave a starving family directions to the nearest town instead of dropping everything (because yes, we were already on a time sensitive mission) to babysit them.

What the fuck is wrong with them? Why is it that the current card designers can't just make cards that are strong, without adding retarded shit like this to push them over the edge?

Always remember, yugiboomers; It is not the Extra Deck that causes problems with this game. It is the retarded card designers that can't help but write retarded shit that is the problem.
>>
>>96535168
The word of the law is that you sufficiently randomize (shuffle) the deck each time you go through it. A cut isn't required hence opponents tapping if they're fine with the shuffle.
The reality is that we go through the deck a lot and are on a clock. If you're searching over and over, do you actually care what order the deck is until you go to draw/mill/ excavate/etc that does depend on a random order of cards.
General community rule of thumb is that you just need to ask your opponent and not be socially stunted. All you need to say before you go to shuffle after your first search is "Would you mind if I just do an end phase shuffle and cut?" Add on "..., or before a draw?" if you plan to draw as a part of your deck. It takes all of 5 seconds.
Don't be a sperg, don't try and get on a soapbox, don't get autistic, don't say anything more than "cool" or "got it" to their response. If they say yes, then you're golden and you move forward. If they say no, you suck it up play as normal and move forward.
>>
>>96487916
It's recent support is actually quite strong, but hasn't come to tcg yet. My experience with it is if d/d/d goes first and you don't have fuwa, you're kinda screwed but it does seem to struggle going second.

I don't even care she's a woman, but this character does not look remotely evil or menacing. She doesn't look like a "Dark" Eldar. You can't even tell if she's a generic fanatasy hero or not, they all have the same dumb blank but stern expression.

She should be cackling evily at the torment of her enemies, not making that same face Rey always did in Disney Star Wars.. Hell she even has normal colored skin when DE are meant to be sickly pale from soul consumption.

then you're not making a point, you're just whinging about how Dark Eldar have always been since their inception and proving you don't know they were added to the game in 3rd.
>not really, its actually that they are essence vampires using to to rejuvenate themselves and stave off death.
Only the modern lore states such a thing. Why are you using modern lore and then pretending that this is how they were portrayed in 3rd edition? And then complaining about a nonexistent discrepancy between 3rd lore and modern DE lore? Nothing you are saying makes the slightest lick of sense.

>Whorra is presented by the narrative as flawless, has zero growth, and just sort of meanders about from random plot point to random plot point.
That's not remotely true. Korra is frequently ineffective, regularly criticized, and actually changes as a person. Her show may not be well-written, but the Korra at the end of the show is a much more balanced person than the Korra at the start of the show. She goes from being too aggressive and brash to losing all faith in herself, and then to trying to resolve things peacefully, to relying on force as necessary as she balances out. That part works, even if (again) it's not a particularly well-written story over all.
>>
>>96534914
>Korra is frequently ineffective, regularly criticized
And then the plot warps around her to make her heckin right all along.
>actually changes as a person.
She doesn't. She's the same impulsive, bullheaded retard by the end as she was at the beginning.
>>
>>96534978
>And then the plot warps around her to make her heckin right all along.
No, not really. She ends up being on the right side, but she makes lots of mistakes. Including that she didn't listen to Tenzin, and let Unalaq manipulate her into getting everything he wanted.
>She doesn't. She's the same impulsive, bullheaded retard by the end as she was at the beginning.
That's not true either. You can see a really clear example of where she is trying to be different as early as when she talks down that new airbender that was up on the bridge. Later on in the story, she confronts Kuvira, but has dropped her "punch first, ask questions later" mentality in favor of wanting to talk things out and get into negotiations. She only fights Kuvira when it becomes clear that it's not going to work.
>>
The best era to play is the first decade or so after the 100 years war began
>airbenders still around, though few and hunted
>fire nation currently invading the southern tribes and the earth nation is more equal to them in strength

Would give you a great sandbox to mess around with no avatar janny going around fixing all the major problems for you.
>>
>>96535862
>airbenders still around, though few and hunted
Hypothetically, there shouldn't be any, even at that point. Though, that one comic does suggest that any stragglers would have been, and even baited and trapped.

That being said, I've fucked around with the era placement too. It's not uncommon for people to wind it back a bit, to before the death of Lu Ten. I did this, with the purpose of taking Ba Sing Se off of the map. The siege was too big to get involved in directly, so players were running around trying to put out fires in other parts of the Earth Kingdom instead.

How accessible is Magic as a quality of life improvement device in your world?

Assuming it's fairly high fantasy, what are some magical items that would be available to everyday people and how much do they cost?

Some examples from my world are; Vines that levitate and can be used as rebreathers once prepared properly, they have large sacks of air on the end that are often used for under water salvage missions and the leaves bite when you try to harvest them. There are also stones that create the bulk of fresh water in the world, they're used as ballasts for ships crossing the oceans and as a constant source of potable water during the voyage.

>Not if their legs atrophy.
A fair outlier example, though it'd be weird to go "The majority of human beings born with two functioning legs that can support their weight"
>>
>>96536334
In the context of this conversation it isn't because you still have to use your legs to keep them from atrophying.
>>
>>96536319
The idea I want to talk about is what people are putting into their worlds that makes things feel magical, my eventual goal with these ideas isn't to actually have a world where these things are permanently available to the players, but a world that loses access to those things.

Turning a campaign from Eberron to Dark Sun in an instant. It's not germane to the conversation at question, hence why this thread is more open ended. You can hide the thread using settings or filter them all together.

OP here, sorry for disappearing, am back. Was busy with work on some competition. Thanks for all the interest!

>Elemental is an online 1v1 card game where players build their decks and take turns playing cards from them. Their decks start weak, but they can improve them by buying better cards or removing weak ones. Each player also has some mana (used to play cards), gold (used to buy cards) and HP (if it reaches 0, the player loses). Some cards give gold, deal damage or restore HP, while others provide various forms of utility, shielding or buffs. Seven elemental dice determine the strengths of various cards: Chance, Fire, Earth, Water, Nature, Gold and Magic. They are rolled at the start and stay as they are. However, some cards can change the values of these dice, thus changing how strong other cards are.

>Elemental scaling is Elemental's core unique mechanic that sets it apart from other games in the genre.

>Many cards' descriptions have an element symbol instead of a number, e.g. "Deal Fire damage to your opponent". This means that the amount of damage dealt is equal to the current value of the Fire die. We say that this card scales with Fire. Note that the die is not rerolled when playing such a card.

>This mechanic makes dice control (using cards that can change the values of the dice) crucial, as doing this can drastically change the strengths of other cards. One player might have a deck that is on paper 2x stronger, but if all dice it scales with are 2s, while all of the dice the opponent's deck scales with are 7s, the opponent is still stronger.

Did some more work on the AI opponent since a lot of people seem to be playing against it.

New gameplay showcase is now up: https://youtu.be/F1p0CdXhxBU

Tried it a little bit earlier, was fun, not being able to automatically play all cards in hand felt weird in a deckbuilder but it definitely scratches some sort of itch. Both HP and new spell costs seem high at first but I think I can see the need for it to be that way. Gonna play a bit more to see how it holds up after multiple plays, but good job OP!

Version 0.6.3-alpha is out. The focus is UI and board state readability improvements, as well as better time increments that are not too long but don't overly penalize decks with turns with many cards.

## Changelog
- Prompts show up in all non-regular-move situations to explain what the player is supposed to select/do (e.g. "Select cards to discard." when the opponent plays Weak Hands).
- Game end screen actually says who won (as opposed to just the status bars changing colors) and the reason for that (if it is timeout, opponent disconnect or opponent invalid move (possibly only if they have a "hacked" client).
- Added new Vicious Curse and Blood Curse icons that appear over a player's draw pile if they are cursed, to remind them about the HP loss on trashing/reshuffling. Also, small improvement for the animation for HP loss from Blood curse.
- Time increment changed from flat 20s per turn to 16s per turn with extra 1s per: shop roll, card played and finishing card interrupt (regardless of whether any cards were played). Additionally, extra 32 seconds are increments after the first choice of whether to go first or second.
- Bugfix: players will no longer be disconnected from the server if they time out and will see their rating change.
- Various small AI opponent improvements: not a big winrate difference, but avoids it seeming dumb in corner cases.

>leaving it up to chaos by making them select things based on labels and not contents

nope right game I'm batman

Yes anon, deliberately controlling the players access to information so they can't make informed decisions is controlling and manipulative behavior. As is forcing them to allocate points in a specific way instead of how the rules would allow. It's pretty pathetic that you need to hamfist shit together to even get through the starting point that is session 0.

They typically are 10 to 12 feet tall
So they stand twice the height of the average man and the above average man

They are the exact same thing in 40k.

>Yeah m8 fantasy settings work like that. you fantasize what you’d be in the given setting. sometimes people like to stand in for a character close to what they are irl, its fun.

All fine. But that doesn't make the figments of you imagination your family or even warrant care about them. Because they aren't real.

The constant debate over "Something's chasing the Tyranids!" or the "Tyranids were lured here by the Pharos!" when they're both single-source things that have never been mentioned since.

The longstanding Ork Logic bollocks where they parrot "They lose because they don't want to win!" and other such retarded statements, when they could just pick up the book and see its not rewriting reality, it's greasing its wheels.

Yeah, while Pharos is what got the Tyranids' attention, what's REALLY attracting them is the Astronomicon.
Ironically, there's Tyranids very near Terra, the Genestealer malstrain from Necromunda. But, unlike the Ymgarl strain which are avoided and used as side-hoes, they refuse to even hear the Malstrain's call.

There's jeanstealers on Terra itself
