I want to like the quickdraw, but none of the variants have a real punch to them. It's all missiles and medium lasers. Which aren't bad, but even a single large laser would go such a long way
I hate these bots just posting the same bait every thread, and I hate you retards that will bite. At least pretending there's a new edition of Battletech in development is a somewhat novel execution of the same old shitty bait (It's literally one guy making things up and then replying to himself 'confirming' it, with no actual proof being posted.)

Whats the Kuritan dropper they built to haul BA with?

A lot of stupid fucking faggots have been posting some bullshit about how AI art is "good" and "fine for the hobby". I am here to tell you, no, you are a FAGGOT who will not pour BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS into his game. You know what AI slop is? You coveting the ability of others and compensating by using tools. You are a fool with an automatic drill acting greater than a true carpenter. Continue down your path. One day you will awaken and see yourself in a pit of disingenuous tar. An inescapable muck that you have built into your home, a fitting place for a wretch unwilling to unabashedly display their love for their fellow players in any form. Anyway, post art from your campaigns. I need to update this, but its mostly my current party. Goblin and the orc died during the end of the last dungeon.
>>96469290other than saving time theres no reason to use ai art other than insecurity
>>96469299False. It's adding visuals where there otherwise wouldn't be any.

>>96462472>>96463398Possible, but not ideal. I'm assuming you know this because you're asking in the first place.I printed several Old World and One Page Rules armies on an A1 mini with a .2mm nozzle. Look for scans or remakes of super old models, their chunkiness is a boon here. There's also models specifically designed for FDM "supportless" printing. They'll look fine on a tabletop, but if someone picks one up and starts looking for the right things, they'll be able to tell it's printed. So don't expect to sneak into official GW tournaments with them. Otherwise, it's fine.If you have specific models in mind, you may need resin. The One Page Rules official models are perfect examples of models designed specifically for resin. They're a bitch and a half to print on FDM.
>>96469168Could you post some of your models? Painted or unpainted. I want to see what someone who's not a hobbyslop youtuber or a redditard can get out of fdm.
>>96469228Sure, why not. Here's part of my 500pt Vampire Count army. Krell on the left is a scan of the model from the 80s or 90s. Necromancers are from HeroQuest. Wolves are shitty free random models. I couldn't find ones that I liked.
>>96469228>>96469342Here's some zombies. These are supportless free Arbiter Mini models. They're a bit off scale.

Welcome to the Old School Renaissance General, the thread dedicated to TSR-era D&D, derived systems, and compatible content.Broadly, OSR games encourage a tonal and mechanical fidelity to Dungeons & Dragons as played in the game's first decade — less emphasis on linear adventures and overarching meta-plots and a greater emphasis on player agency. If you are new to the OSR, welcome! >>96468618>There is stuff that is basically class features and stuff like blind-fight (the 3e feat) selectable as "skills".Yep. That's why many of us DON'T use it as core rules, but only import parts as needed into B/X and/or AD&D.
>>96469150I thought that ACKS was just a running joke based on posts I read about it until I learned it was a real game.
>>96469150"Clunky" is not the only axis on which to evaluate a system --- not for everyone, at least. BECMI is clunky in a bad way: bad design decisions, unplaytested, and so on, and while ACKS is clunkier, it is much more carefully playtested and designed. Now of course if for you it's very important that a system be less clunky, ACKS is a step in the wrong direction. But if you're fine with *some* clunkiness, it's a massive improvement over BECMI, that is very mediocre in the later books. Personally, I'd NEVER use the domain, mass combat, unarmed combat, or weapon mastery rules from BECMI. They're all just bad with no redeeming quality.
>>96467156>tell players that money exists to be thrown out the windowThis is genuinely what I want. Granted I'm going for an explicitly pulpy sword-and-sorcery style for my BX game. You never saw Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser piling cash away

>>96469197>You can stagger your tamer effects to potentially have that trigger then go to 4 or more memory while still getting the effect. Most of the time yes, but there are still a handful of Tamers that gain memory at Start of Your Turn or when you move a Digimon out of raising that would conflict with TS, mostly old ones.
OkayI want to knowhow the FUCK did Growmon X-Antibody dodge the banlist>limit the Rush Guilmon>Except it means jack shit because the FOUR COPIES of Growmon X-Antibody can just bring it backGarudamon X-Antibody didn't deserve this man
>>96469291Garuda X kind of did deserve that considering how much work it did for the guil-phoenix builds. Pair bans are interesting, but should not be done too often as it makes deck building much more complicated and the way Bandai shows bans and limits is terrible. The bans break the guil engine, which was the goal. The guil combo deck is dead with the bans, gallant decks are fine, megidra is probably dead too

My friend is really into the books and got all the RPG stuff as early as possible. Personally I think the art in the book looks like the absolute blandest slop imaginable, all of the worst aspects of modern DnD, just completely dead and soulless. Also every time I have been around him listening to the books, which is quite a lot, they sound like YA novels, and I just really don't care for it. But I don't wanna make him sad, so I'm gonna play the game and actually take it seriously, since he usually does the same for me, besides that I think playing a game where I am not interested at all in the setting could make me a better roleplayer
>>96468688Well at least you know you'll be miserable going in.
>>96468688Luckily for you, prose of the source material and art in the handbook is in the top 5 things that almost never matter when you're actually playing a game, because those are usually substituted with whatever the GM comes up with or has on hand. Have you found anything of interest in the mechanics?

I’m admittedly pretty retarded when it comes to mechanics and running combat encounters. >tried OSE and thought it was confusing but idr exactly why, It’s been a minute.>Tried using my hazbro hotel books and shit was exhausting to flip back and forth through, and the combat wasn’t satisfying. I don’t have the MM either and just used OSE MONSTERS which could have been part of the problem. >Tried mazerats for like a minute, but felt like a man with a rolling pin instead of Conan or whatever.
