It's death is only bemoaned by it's few fans>5e essentially 3e for retards that are confused by options and are more afraid of power creep and "playing it wrong" then actually having fun, also actively tried to recruit the "modern audience" and the theater kids by throwing the grognards under the table of past shame, then tried to copyright scam the industry and community and lost both of them, effectively D&D if written by the marketing and HR department
Would D&D be better off if it had taken more influence from Robert E. Howard than JRR Tolkien like Gygax originally intended?

I did the old conversion with 10 Superkrak missile boxes (and re-used the missiles themselves on Soviet-style launch rails for my Sisters tanks). Can't find pics of that one, might have to dig it out of the basement. Then I did an involved conversion with Whirlwind bits, a shot glass, bases, a Necromunda bulkhead, jewelry, an Imagifier's shrine, and eventually some Forgeworld bits to make a Whirlwind for my girls. That became an Exorcist when the BBB list dropped, added a Predator to the army as well using the Vehicle Design Rules.

Would be kinda cool if Itsuro and Kenji are the first ones to find out that the plain girl is also an Awakened before the rest of the SC does. She would probably lose that fight, or she’d have to dip or something, I’m just spitballing.
>>96736659>how the Student Council fights as a unitThere's a two part writefag where some members of the SC, and Takaishi and Momo all go rescue Ai from a Flooding Zone and fight some high level enemies. You've probably read it I think.

>>96736554kek>>96736703FR writers can't even agree on drow height
>>96736724Anon, I never read them. I can't dislike what I haven't read.At best, I said something along the line of not caring about that particular aspect of these stories.I enjoyed various fantasy fiction that had male human female elf pairings, despite that pairing happening (hard to avoid in general). Unless it's written really badly, I just roll my eyes and continue.
>>96736726what made it less bad?

Thread titleWhy did they get so steamed about the whole thing, fighting slavery is like 80% of the plot hooks in a fantasy game. There were entire prestige classes and campaigns built around that.I mean like if the bad guys don't do slavery and aren't racist / homophobic, what do they do that's actually bad
>>96732879>Monster race slaversYou bring up a good point though. They probably will never speak of the fact that almost all gnolls were slavers again. Just like how they scrubbed clean that their primary goddesses main doctrine included indoctrinating children.
>>96734872On the contrary, the fact that Paizo was willing to depict all manners of evil set it away from the cartoonier WotC. Little did i know Book of the Damned was the final piece of edgy PF content.
>>96736082Yeah Cheliax basically switched from slavery to modern contract slavery, which contradicts the idea that depicting slavery endorses it (unless they like the modern stuff). I suppose they could have wanted to use it to virtue signal against modern slavery, but I haven't seen anything implying that they're moving in that direction.
>>96727985Don't care about the irrelevant time-wasting question, I'm just replying because of the lust-provoking image. Love to come across some homare.

Here's my spooky WIP. This necromancer wants to loot the fruitful battlefields of WWII Europe of the best corpses, and she has hired some AWOL ne'er do wells to escort her. I need to make a few recently dead bolt action guys to fill out the warband.
Good morning ladsPulling my own head off here. Can't find a website that I've shared here before.Basically it's a UK garage caster. His "shop" is a blogspot with PDF links.Nothing dodgy, but all I can remember is he sells a mixture of metal and resin, I swear some of it was Oldhammer inspired. Which is my interest. But the things I definitely remember him selling are like "Fantasy Football dwarf with chainsaw" and like Fantasy Football dwarfs inspired by various superheroes like Batman, Iron Man. Not want I want myself but they were kind of tacky enough to stick in my head. The sculpts were fairly primitive.

>>96734755by shooting anyone who brings it up.I wonder what his thoughts on the Saur riders are. They're Turkic-adjacent.
>>96734515>Well, that's kind of the point, I don't think the undead rising en masse across the entirety of the empire is a good thing, because it turns this crisis from something containable into an absolute nightmare that, like I said, might as well hijack the setting in it's entirety. But the dead coming back to life in the thousands is the wackiest thing on the setting. I find it difficult to find balance here otherwise. After the weird events during the previous decades, we've had many signs that could be interpreted as "apocalyptic" (the burning of Rome, the fall of Paris...). Then, the dead begin rising from their graves in some of the holiest places in the world. I think that, unless the dead rise en masse, the other powers would have used it as an excuse to overtake the entirety of the Ottoman Empire and purge the husks. I mean, if the risen dead were a more manageable number, don't you think the Tsardom would have launched a crusade to liberate the peoples of the area from the dead? Wouldn't Persia and the arabian tribes do the same? Hell, how many volunteers would go into the Holy Land as some sort of holy war? The Pope would have to say something, and a more politically active Catholic Church would take the chance to bless the endeavor. >Assuming we want the other powers to direct their attention to other matters instead we should limit the spread somewhat.I can imagine that the husks that rose in the areas outside Anatolia and the Levant were relatively easier to deal with, since they probably had much less support from the ottoman army. They were still threatening and took a decent effort to stop, but not enough to become an unstoppable tide of death.
>>96734515>the undead hordes rose up within some arbitrary borders and not just across some general areaIf the dead only rose in a single place, then the allied nations could just join together and purge the husks in one go. Maybe even simultaneous disembarchings to overrun the husks. Part of the threat of the Second Oriental Crisis was the sheer fear, chaos and confusion during the first months that allowed the husks quick gains across the frontline. Once the tide began to turn, they probably fought until containment became a viable thing (maybe they thought fighting to the bitter end could result in more wacky shennannigans being unleashed, so they just shrugged and left the Sultan have his dead empire).
